Great location if you like the bohemian buzz of the Latin quarter with its 800 years history of universities, partially medevial streets, 5-10 minute walk to ALL of the brilliant ,vibrant Restaurants of The 5th Arrondissement, 2 min to parks. Surprisingly quiet .
Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Small Spa with steam room, shower, mini gym (3 running machines with youtube and TV screens) which is open 8am to 9pm.we used it in the morning before heading out for breakfast.Rooms luxurious with (triple room) extra toilet, bath, TV. The secret about getting the DVD-player running: connect cable at back of Player (towards TV),find power cable hidden behind desk and plug in,too.bring own adapter (only one available). Secret about cappuccino machine: there's a non-obvious power button at the top back end -press ,then insert coffee sachet,then pull down metal clip firmly(you can't miss it) and Then press far right Button on Front Panel To get The coffee Running - Great! Rooms smaller than expected considering The price but it's Paris and I felt never more Safe,looked after, Politely spoken to and will always Come back Here!! Font expected super spacious but expect cosy and luxurious.All rooms have own Air conditioning and heating- very easy to regulate. Windows Double glazed. Nearest RER Underground/Tube is 5 min walk("Louxembourg"),nearest Metro Underground/Tube ("Place monge") is 10-15 min Walk. Notre Dame and Seine about 10-12 min walk.such a "Pearl" Among The hotels - we will always be back!!
Rooms could be just that extra bit bigger for this quite proud daily price ,but the welcoming proactive genuinely friendly staff at reception,for the Spa,The cleaners,and The night Staff Makes more than up For this! This Hotel really is a home away from home.great base for very Short Or very Long Trips through Paris! As the steam room always recharges You For The next "round of Paris". Wholeheartedly recommend this Hotel! By The way: the "Fondation Louis Vuitton" - a must see if youre into Arts,Architecture and Music (just Google :) ).
