The Best Western Monopole Métropole is located just a quarter mile from the Strasbourg Train Station, next to La Petite France district.
Score from 1649 reviews Very good
Across from Strasbourg train station, the Grand Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the center of the city and Place Kléber. It offers a bar, terrace and free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 1172 reviews Very good
In the pedestrian area around Place Kléber, the historic Maison Rouge features ancient stained-glass windows and rooms decorated with individual character.
Score from 1113 reviews Very good
The ibis Styles Strasbourg Centre is centrally located and is less than half a mile of Strasbourg TGV Train Station and the Petite France district.
Score from 754 reviews Excellent
Next to train station and Petit France. Clean, modern design, spacious bathroon, good noise isolation
A minor thing that could be improved is the reception hall. It feels the recepcionists are not facing who enters the building and the seating area is not very inviting
great location, friendly staff, experience as expected
almost everything, best location close to the train station.
We got a free upgrade which was nice. two level future room. Full on with message chair! the location was good. walking distance to everything, breakfast was decent staff helpful.
Everything was slow and complicated in the future. The automatic door, while cool, took ages to close. The touch screen bathroom was difficult to figure out. Took us 10 minutes to figure out how to turn on the shower and then turning the shower off was a process. The room was on street level which means that people outside could look in. And the beds were adjustable per side, but we each had a dent in the side when the bed was flat. Felt like I was sleeping on an incline. And parking was a nice walk away from the hotel. Not super far, but not close either.
location close to the train station and major attractions, well isolated sound proof rooms, comfortable beds, modern decor, free coffee and tea in reception and rooms
no safety box in the rooms, small rooms, you can bang your head when you wake up with lamps right above the bed
Everything was perfect in this hotel: location, helpful staff, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good.
They have no parking. If you need one you will have to park on the Train Station Parking which is huge and 10 min walk away. You will get a discount there if you park from the Mercure Hotel. We traveled with a small child and it was very uncomfortable for us. The rest was just perfect with this hotel.
Modern decoration Friendly receptionist Room very clean
Room size: too small Breakfast : egg and saucisses are not warm. No hot milk
The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The room was small but very adequate and clean. Location was excellent.
The location was fantastic, the staff where exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would definatly stay there again
Very cosy , clean, very kind staff. breakfast with high quality food.
the door from bathroom :) . i mean the phonic isolation ... :)
attention of staff gifts for guests for Easter breakfast
repair in the corridor
Staff was friendly and the location was great. Close to parking and train station, yet away from the hustle and bustle.
Breakfast was too expensive. There were better values down the block.
The hotel was easy to find and it's only 5 minutes' walk from the station. The room was clean and very modern with the espresso maker.
The shower room was a little too modern to use it.
Friendly reception stuff, close to "petite france", clean and modern
Great to have interconnecting rooms so we could have us in one and the kids in the other.
Friendliness of the personnel! Close to all sights as well as to the railway station. It was a christmas period, so everything was absolutely wonderful
I haven't used the breakfast as it seemed ti be quite expensive
not a hotel comment, travelling tip for Strasbourg: if you fly in, don't get a taxi to the city at night, very expensive - get the train.
Great location, close to the station, river cruises, Cathedral, shops, museums and Petite France. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom with a handheld shower over a bath - not practical or necessary when you're on holiday or a business trip.
This was a very good location with friendly staff. Job well done!
very small bathroom
Location! Parking garage at walking distance (can be reached easily from autoroute).
Size of room (in corner hotel): we had to pile up some chair-like objects in order the have enough space to store our luggage. And what to say about the price of the room: Strasbourg was very busy with tourists because of the marche du noel, but still I think one could for instance better try to find a good chambre d'hôte for a little more money (and breakfast included?) and be more content. This hotel did offer an alternative for breakfast buffet (petit dejeuner express) but still I believe a minimal breakfast should be included in the price.
Location is excellent, near all the sites. Good hotel, good breakfast.
road works made it a bit difficult to get to, but that will be sorted out in a few months.
Very atentive personnel and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet free for those over 65.
Due to road works it is noisy in the rooms overlooking Maire Kuss street.
The location is closed to the city and train station
The heater in the room was not turn on and the room was very cold.
Offered coffee in the reception and in the room they gave for free bottled water and tea. The lobby is nice and modern. Very close to the main areas of the city.
I stayed in a economy room, it was disappointing. The room was really small with no space to put our things. The bathroom was super tiny, with no space to even put the towel from the lavatory! Completely different from what you would expect when you see the modern and beautiful lobby. I asked the person in the reception to change me a bill for the tram and she did not help me or gave any alternative...Just said she had nothing: "I am sorry..". What made me run in to stores around to try to solve my problem. The breakfast is ok, but served as a canteen with trays in the tables. Not practical at all and not for the level of presentation you would expect from a Mercure. Overall I was not happy and next time I go there I will try to find another hotel. There are a lot of choices in that area...
