El Sud Hotel se encuentra a 2 km del centro de la ciudad portuaria de Bastia y a menos de 300 metros de la costa oriental de Córcega. El personal del hotel es muy amable. El hotel está reformado y por dentro tiene cierto encanto aunque nuestra habitación era bastante pequeña. El hotel está en una carretera con mucho tráfico y lejos de la ciudad para ir andando.

We arrived in bastia at 12pm and needed a place to stay for the night, it was perfect, and were sorry it was only a night we were staying for in this hotel. .Man at reception was V. friendly. Beautiful room, free wi-fi. Excellent Location would have been a problem, we had to get a taxi to get there and find it. So you would have needed the bus to get to and from the town. Taxis were few and far between at night time aswel, so you might be caught when having a late night out!

+Price and availability. Easy access to Corsica Ferries (by car). - A 1 mile walk to the Citadelle, harbor and restaurants. No fridge/waterboiler in the room. Very few parking spaces (although description said plenty)

Average rooms but clean. Very helpfull personnel, wi-fi was working with no problem. A little bit far from the center of the city to walk, we missed refrigerator and balcony.

Not an appealing location but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet with a modern bathroom. The best part - the evening meal and breakfast in the courtyard with other happy guests. We chose to stay because we were waiting for the ferry next morning to Livorno. Easy and free parking across the road. Our room was at the back of the hotel and quite dark with an old carpet. The hotel is some way from the centre of town. No problem with a car.

The information about the hotel is grossly missleading as the presentations makes you believe it has a good location. The distance to the city is 5-10 minutes by car. Walking takes more than 30 minutes!It is in an industrial suburb at a road full of traffic. The charm is like an american highway motel. Should be avoided.

Very good money/quality. Modern, clear. High speed internet in room, free parking. It takes about 20 minutes by foot to get The Citadel and The Old Port. It is possible to use common computer and printer in lobby. Breakfast is poor, but there is no cafe nearby.

Nice room design, friendly staff, pleasant dinner in the hotel's restaurant. We really enjoyed this small hotel. Good internet and parking place. The location is not very convenient, entrance on a circulated street.
