Room needs refurbishment

Excellent room in terms of facility and size for the price we paid. The best part was the fridge and microwave facility which helped us to prepare fresh and hot infant milk and baby food on the spot without bothering the staff. Huge size of the bathroom Well maintenained rooms Room and wc cleaniness Staff support was very good Seperate Bathroom and wc in Old Indian Style which removed problems of bad odor Relaxing bed and pillows Excellent location

Loved the hotel staff. Very helpful..went out of their way to help!!

The rooms were too warm. Could not control the a/C. The only bed linen is a heavy comforter. Woke up 3 times during the night sweating. Suggest a lighter weight comforter.

Everything that we required for our stay was provided for, from access to a good breakfast, to ease of distance from hotel to beach, beach to shopping, shopping to Hotel...And the room was more than comfortable with an added bonus of a spare single bed. Brilliant. So impressed than we joined up as members of Suite Novotel.

No swimming Pool... Small price to pay really !

Beautiful spacious suite interior design, excellent facilities, comfortable beds, very clean, air conditioner worked perfectly which is utmost important in Cannes in August. A cordless electrical teapot, mini fridge in the room, patisserie and fruits nearby made us feel at home. Nutritious breakfast. Convenient location. Pleasant stay.

Great location to walk to the beach front, main shopping street, old town and rail station. Also directly on bus route to Le Cannet for new Pierre Bonnard art gallery,(excellent visit there) Hotel is quiet, with no noise from other rooms. No traffic noise problem either. Room is spacious and well-equipped with fridge, m/wave and kettle, thus easy to prepare breakfast and snacks, although there are plenty of places on the avenue including boulangeries/brasseries. Good bathroom with both shower and bathtub, separate wc. Comfortable bed. Free Wi Fi is useful too.

On arrival the room was roasting as the air-conditioning not working....opening the window was a waste of time due to the outside heat. Phone call down to reception (in French) resulted in a promise of a visit... It took 2 visits to the reception for anyone to come and look at the problem. Had I not raised my voice about the issue no one would have bothered to repair it. I am writing this to highlight what we didn't like about this hotel....empty promises to attend to a major problem which meant we wasted 30 minutes waiting for no one. After a long journey,this was not a promising start. Also the lift is too small for the number of guests and hotel staff using it. Many guests seem to think it ok to cover the floor with their shopping, making it impossible for others to use it. Beware this mentality if you plan to come here.

Design of the room was really nice. 10 min far from the city centre on foot.

Elevator is the main problem of this hotel. There is only one elevator for 6 persons.

The room wasn' t clear. We found used paper in the bathrooms floor, and hair on the bad. Also the tv doesn' t work and a man was trying to fix it while we had already make check in and we were into the room after traveling for many hours.

Loved the concept of the room, very modern. Shower was excellent, clean and good water pressure.

Wifi should be provided in the room for free. Toilet size was a bit too small to be comfortable. Towels were too thin and small. Should be replaced.

The Hotel is well located, a walking distance from the beach and shopping area and very close to the highway for those wanting to explore the region. The rooms are big.

The Air Conditioning isn't strong enough and we were hot all the time. When we complained to the staff, they told us that they will take care of the problem but nothing much was done. The bathroom and wc are similar to the ones on boats and are not what we expect when we go to a hotel. The water drainage in the shower wasn't working properly; we had to complain twice before it was fixed.

Good location for holidays on beach.

The design of the room is horrible, especially if you consider the price you have to pay. The air condition wholes in the wall were mildewed and green, truly disgusting. This is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. The garage where you can leave your car is even worse. You can hardly get in the garage properly because there is simply not enough space for a bigger car to drive in. Don't use the garage - it is too small, too dark and too expensive.
