Suite Novotel Lille Europe  

The location.

I didn't understand that Suite Novotel is or seems to be a halfway house between Novotel proper and Ibis. It is a joke that these are promoted as suites as they simply have a matt curtain that pulls across that centre of the room! It had quadruple glazing which certainly kept the Motorway and train noise out, but the the aircon didn't work so it was too warm and we had to sleep without covers. I feel misled by the glowing reviews of this place but was still happy to be staying right by the station. I suppose that as everything in Lille is very expensive, this would have to be too!

Rooms were spacious and clean! Staff was very helpful! Very close to RER train station and Lille Palais.

The breakfast for the price wasn't worth the money and I wish they would have had coffee service in the lobby all day long for the guests

Modern and therefore not much character, but a very good hotel in all other ways. Very big room, and everything you could want in the room. Lovely bed, and friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant location if you are using Eurostar

Not many decent restaurants nearby, but hotel suggested the casino hotel 2 minutes away which had a superb buffet for 17-23 euros

Terrible location. The hotel was literally situated on an island in between the railroad station and a major highways. Very noisy. Also, advertisement stated that the hotel was 5 minutes from city centre. I supposed that would be true for Usan Bolt, but for normal folks, it takes a good 15 minutes to desired centre locations.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Radio did not work in our room, and as nobody could fix it, we immediately got another room.

Great location when you arrive in Lille Europe. There are no restaurants and museums nearby unless you walk to the city centre.

The cleanliness and the decor.

The strange portakabin-like bathroom and toilet; it felt like being on a (luxury) campsite!

Fantastic location, huge rooms, spotlessly clean, good breakfast, helpful staff. Honestly couldn't fault the hotel.

Larger-sized rooms than is usual for France. Very comfortable bed. Very obliging staff. All at a reasonable price. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the city centre with great restaurants and museums. Highly recommended.

When we stayed, the room refridgerator didn't work and took two days to be fixed. There is insufficient cutlery/crokery/cups for snacks or coffee making. The hotel provides a couple of paper cups to each room, with a plastic or wooden spatula. No doubt this reduces their costs, but it detrqcts from the generqal ambiance of the room and other facilities.

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the xmas market in Lille . Initially main reason for choosing this hotel was because it was the nearest pet friendly hotel to the city centre . We took our spaniel Guinness, he loved the room and was welcomed by the staff. The hotel is right next to the rail station which would have been great if traveling this way. The hotel room was large,very modern, very clean and tidy and we thought the price was more than fair. We traveled with our grown up daughter, the room was plenty big enough with a decent single be for her. We thought the complementary coffee, tea and snacks were a great idea. And the microwave proved useful to warm up some croissants for breakfast :-). We will certainly look out for a Suite novotel again.5+ stars from us

The only slight negative point is lack of free hotel parking. However we used the underground public carpark which is beneath the hotel , it cost 30 euro for the weekend but we thought a fair price for the security and convienence.

It was one of the best Hotels that I stayed at- The Staff were very Friendy and very helpful. Room very outstanding and features were great.

We had a great size room,with a free movies,bath,fridge,microwave.Excellent place to stay,one of the best ones.Euro Lille train station is 20 seconds away by foot and receptionist looked like Kevin Bacon. Check in and out was 12 o'clock which is great.none of the English hotels had like this and we asked about late check out (2pm) and they said it was fine.(for free).Can't wait to go back.

Two lifts with only one working most of the time

It was just in front of the Lille Europe train station. The rooms are big and comfortable. You have even a small kitchen like place with kettle, micro-wave and refrigerator. Rooms are very clean. Pay-tv channels are all included in the price.

During check-in wrong amount of money charged from my credit card. I noticed this when I went to my room and checked my booking.com print-out. With my objection they corrected it, but if I was not careful they will charge me extra and this is not good. I was stayed on the second floor of the hotel and my room was located at the end of the corridor and from room it was impossible to use the wi-fi do not trust the w-ifi connection.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet - there were no noisy fans or air conditioning.

Was right outside Lille Europe Station and easy to find & was in the location me and my friends wanted for the weekend. Very large room with all that we needed and it was excellent value for money and will be looking to book here again for next trip to Lille.

Hairdryer was not very powerful will bring my own next time

The room was enormous and very comfortable. The staff were really great spoke perfect english and nothing was a bother. The hotel was across the street from the fast train railway and a very short distance to drag bags to the train.

The only draw back was no restaurant but we discovered a good one at the ajacent railway staion. They had snacks ready made in a fridge which were nice

Staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is 5 mins from a great shopping centre and the metro station. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious. Opposite the Eurostar station.

Location is goodie u arrived by Eurostar / tgv and room with microwave. Well maintain good value for money Also free bike rental.

Great for families with babies. Big spacious room with divinding screen to make a secluded space for a sleeping baby. Facilities were simple but very comfortable. Very close to the station and option for late checkout were incredibly convenient.
