In the Odysseum district of Montpellier, this air-conditioned hotel features an outdoor swimming pool with a paddling area for children open during the summer months.
Score from 787 reviews Very good
The Hotel Mercure Centre Antigone is found at the entrance to Montpellier, just over half a mile from the Zenith concert venue and only a 10-minute walk from the famous Place de la Comedie.
Score from 319 reviews Very good
In Montpellier just 325 ft from the Place de la Comédie, ibis Styles Montpellier Centre Comedie opened in April 2014 and has a bar, free Wi-Fi throughout, and a 24-hour front desk.
Score from 458 reviews Excellent
The Best Western Eurociel is a 3-star hotel just 215 yards from the Place de la Comédie. You can ask the staff at the 24-hour front desk about the historic town center, which is 215 yards away.
Score from 943 reviews Excellent
The staff is not professional. The staff especially in the reception never smile, very rude and isn't helpful. Awful experience.
Efficient service. Good breakfast. Good bed. Secure parking. Free wifi
Room rather spartan.
A very special Suitenovotel, possible due to being a reburbished aparthotel instead of a new building specificaly for this chain. Bigger than usual rooms on this chain, kitchenette, separate room and living room... swimming pool... it's not on the downtown area but it's still possible to walk to the main square in 15-20 mins. Tramway stop quite nearby also. Good working wifi.
Slow check out. Not enough elevators for the amount of rooms. Weird room WC with 2 doors, one not lockable.
Centrally located. 15 minutes from airport during very early AM traffic. You get what you pay for. They awoke us on time, and ordered a taxi which arrived at the appointed hour. Front desk was very helpful. When booking the room, our request was for a quiet, and we were not disappointed. .
Room was Spartan but that was not a surprise. However, the bathroom saloon type door appears to have a rack on the inside lower edge. This is nowhere up to Embassy Suites standards.
Excellent concept we found it extremely comfortable whilst it is not posh it is very well thought out with everything you need, excellent safe large enough for two computers, phones, keys. Great to have the fridge and kettle. Lot of space, loved the films great choice, had two great nights sleep. Working space fab as you can move it about to suit. Breakfast very good and fresh. Would have no hesitation in recommending it and would certainly stay in a Novotel Suite again.
place needs a lick of paint - 1970@s decor need major updating
spacious room of the suite class, the microwave and the cattle in the room, smoking rooms avalable
The biggest problem was the absence of the working air-conditionning in the rooms when it was 26 degrees outside and as a concequence much more in the room plus high humidity of the region. To open the windows was impossible due to the tramway sirculation right below them. All appeals to the receptionnists resulted by the explanation that the last week it was cold, gests complainned and the conditionning was switched off in the whole hotel. The explanation is as more strange as you realize that the conditionning is regulated individually in every room! So we couldn't sleep weel, were tired taking into consideration that the purpose of our stay was working at the seminar in Montpellier. The second big problem we faced was the absance of any cafe or restorant to have dinner around the hotel except one in the neighbour Mercure Hotel. We've got some other observation as about cleannes and other facilities in the hotel positionned as 4 stars hotel, but it is egnough for now
Too far from the centre. Taxis were very expensive
Room size and facilities Pool Breakfast Reception staff
We booked 2 rooms, both non smoking. One stank of stale smoke...coming through air com system. We were moved but non-smokers be aware ....
Plenty of space, friendly and helpful staff.
Wifi was poor. I could not e-mail or get access to work e-mails.
Very large and quiet rooms, friendly & helpful stuff, business center with printer for free
very limitted breakfast selection (as seen commonly in France)
Good sized room. Pleasant and helpful staff. Situated near restaurants and city centre.
Suite set up
Some decor a bit dated but clean
Location Friendly staff Comfortable bed Quality bed-linen and towels
In sufficient control over room cleanliness. Dated fittings. Very narrow bath Disposable cups and glasses
- Location - Rooms are great - Clean - Friendly We really enjoyed our stain in this hotel and it is really worth the money
- Breakfast is not worth to eat here simply because they do not have a kitchen :( - you eat breakfast in a lobby :( - no restaurant - 10 euro for a day parking
Good hotel in a good location but for Novotel i expexted better quality.
Not very friendly in the front desk team with very expensive and poor breakfast
Great location and easy to get to and from using public transport.
The room is very confortable for 3 people (couple with 1 kid)
- The breakfast room is too small, too crowded, only one food station for too many people. I suggest to go out and get breakfast in a nice and peaceful café... - The room where the small bed is located has a window without curtains...terrible in the morning...please put a curtain on that little window, it is a shame, because the suite is great
Our room turned into a suit when we arrived. The 40 inch flatscreen TV can be moved around the suite on wheels which was a first so you can have it in the lounge or wheel into the bedroom....good location 2 mins from tram 1 stop. Breakfast was very good standard. Overall worth the rate paid on B.C. All the staff were great. Guys and girls on reception were especially good.
Allocated a smoking room as we hadn,t requested a non smoking! thought it was supposed to be the other way round? Our suite stank. The prices of drinks at bar are draw dropping. €4.50 for a small beer. The bar is empty 24/7. Wonder why... Pool is tiny and there is only 10 ( yes ten!,) sunbeds for a hotel with 500 to 600 guests lol. Don't plan on spending any time at the pool. In the lounge bit of the suite there was a single bed and plastic table and 2 plastic chairs not a sofa or armchair to be had..very odd. Car park charge was to much.
clean, big and comfortable room. Nice pool, not massive and big enough.
We could not stay an extra 2 hr or so in the room as the hotel wants a full price for the extra hrs, I found that very irritating, most of the time when the room is available we are allow to stay for an extra £20 or so, which I don't mind to pay when I am traveling with a baby. We were told the room was available but at full price! That made me very angry! Very stupid hotel policy
Shower in room was good Gym was small but not bad and liked the fact that it was open 24 hours
Room was dirty Swimming pool was a paddling pool and not as described on site Hated the lifts Carpet was filthy beds uncomfortable Insects in room Didnt manage a single nights sleep Not up to the standard expected and experienced at other Novotels, would like a refund
The pool is good.
It's very corporate. There is a much nicer hotel close the Novotel which is also 4*, priced similarly but just a nicer place to be.
Swimming pool area Relax ambience
WiFi could be better
Each room had a separate bedroom with a sitting room and spacious bathroom Staff were really nice Position was great Access to river front restsurants was 5 minites by foot Access to city centre was about 20 minutes by foot
The address would not go into the GPS so we had a little bit of trouble initiallt finding it
