Beautiful building, comfortable rooms, great welcome

Good location, great hospitality, luxury rooms, clean and nicely designed bathroom

Beautiful "guest house".They prefer to be called that instead of a hotel. The service is excellent, the manor is tastefully updated with original artwork both inside and in the lovely garden area. The rooms are very large and so is the bathroom. I could stretch my arms out to the sides in the shower it was so large. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone staying in this vibrant city.

It s like a private home. Only 5 rooms owners live there and are really nice and friendy. Breakfats is delicious. Like staying ina a French home. Would definitely go back and recommend it . We loved it.

No telephone in rooms. If you needed somethinh st night would not know what to do. But it is a small boutique hotel and the owners live in 3 rd floor, so it was really like a home. No one expects you to need a plug to charge your ipad at 11 pm. We Loved the place

A place you love to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Lovely hosts. The best breakfast we had on our entire trip. The delightful garden and tasteful design of the rooms. Definitely the place to stay when you are coming to Tours and want to be treated special.

Loved the contemporary style of the coach house and chateau . Michelle, the owner- manageress most hospitable, caring and welcoming. Breakfast was first class - a step above average.

Wonderful blend of old & new, efficient but personal, luxurious but relaxed.

We loved the house and stayed in the room Caramel. A very beautiful room, overlooking the garden. We were made very welcome by Michelle, who was also extremely helpful in helping us out when we had a medical problem. Our first choice if we revisit Tours. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely old house.

The building and rooms are beautiful.

The owner couple is not at all professional and very biased. As I made a request (my diamond earring is dropped through the sink which had no stopper so that I could unscrew the bottom cap of the sink to retrieve it) which is naturally accepted by any ordinary hotel, they refused to do it for fear of ??? harming the cap? And when I asked again, they both told me to get out. I protested as it was nearly 10pm on Sunday and I am a foreigner and a woman solo traveller. It did not matter as they both told me that it is not a hotel but their own home and they can do anything they want! It was my first ever experience to be kicked out of any hotel in my 45 years of international travels They are unqualified hotel manager not to mention as lack of decency as human beings!

Fantastic place. Coukd not fault rooms or service. Central with a 10 minutes walk to restaurant and food/entertainment area.

The location is excellent. The suite was impeccably clean. The owners were pleasent and helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately stay here again. We highly recommend Suites Beranger. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about Tours, etc. The rooms were beautifully designed and appointed. The grounds were wondferful, we especially enjoyed a glass of wine one afternoon on the patio in the garden.

The room was outstanding by its amplitude and elegant decoration. The householders are a charming couple. The house is 7 min. from midtown but is peaceful with its lovely garden.

The extreme friendliness of the owner, Michelle. She went out of her way to help us with our luggage. She was very friendly and enthusiastic and conversed about many subjects. Gave us help in finding a castle tour and restaurants and local guide to the area. She was amazing and the hotel was top of the top at a reasonable price. Everything was first class plus. We are going to recommend this hotel to everyone and it was in the center of town with very little noise.

An impressive suite,very comfortable,like a city apartment. Helpful staff to welcome and help us. A beautiful impressive home.

There was a charge for water 5 euros! And 3 euros for a cup of tea (in the room). I think that they should have been part of the accommodation(which was not cheap!)

Very good hotel with very good service

Superb hotel, virtually in the centre of Tours. Excellent facilities for bed and breakfast.

Beautiful suite on the mature grounds of lovely old mansion. Well laid out and furnished with luxurious touches. Obviously someone has given a lot of thought to its design and build; and it is appreciated. Excellent location; walking distance to central Tours yet hidden in a little green oasis.

The breakfast was very inadequate. Just bread, pastries and jam. It was like being in a war zone with food rations; forget the fact that you could not get a piece of cheese if your life depended on it, you were actually told that each guest was allowed one croissant; mind boggling @ 200 euros a night! If you are a little perplexed, so were we. But soon realized that this strange quasi military approach was the personal style of the Madame Proprietor and permeated all facets of the Beranger experience. Therefore, we minimized personal contact and tried to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as much as possible.
