fair accommodation reflecting the price you pay, just basic
the bed. only sofa but we put mattrasses on the floor. it was OK then
They did not tell they change the code for the door. And we came back late evening..... The restaurant could not help....
Easy to find, parking, nice beaches around
Rooms need some repair and refreshing
N-o access to the pool Internet through Wi-Fi not working During the week-end no staff available.
The beds were clean, the air con worked and free parking on the premises was very handy in Montpellier. The receptionist allowed us to leave bags in a locked area for the day which again was very handy.
We arrived at 6:30pm so within check-in time (meant to be until 7pm) and wanting to pay cash only to find out that the night had already been debited from the foreign card used to book the hotel (not a great surprise from a budget point of view). We also received emails just before arrival stating that basics needed to be paid for as extras (e.g. sheets, tv, etc) which on arrival turned out not to apply to bookings made on booking.com. This was however quite confusing. The bathroom wasn't clean and the corridors smelt of rubbish (the room didn't).
Bed was comfortable and clean except for what appeared to be animal hairs on the bed cover and floors. Clean towels and hot water.
Smell of smoking in both the room and communal areas. General awareness and smell of unclean areas. Very basic accommodation. Prepaid for cleaning but notes given to us with keys advised cleaning would be charged if apartment was found to require cleaning.
Location was very nice with securing parking on site. Close to river and tram/train station.
We checked in Saturday evening and left Monday morning and there were no staff available to correct missing towels, broken lights, and missing sheets for bed. The room was dirty with excrement on the walls of the bathroom. We tried calling the after hours emergency contact number, left a message and no one responded. The pool was not open during our entire stay. This could be a nice hotel with a nice location with a little improvement in maintenance and cleanliness with accessible reception staff or response to after hours request. Would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.
Could park on site quite close to centre by cars
Apartment was dirty and so was balcony so didn't want to use facilities as corridors dirty so didn't think pool would be clean disappomting
The proximity to the town centre. The shower was hot.
Sleeping on a sofa bed that didn't fold-out properly! Especially as it advertised a bed! No washing-up liquid or tea towel supplied in the kitchen! Only WiFi for 1 device, payment required for more! Very noisy!
Easy walking distance to large mall and historic centre. Comfortable enough. In house coin laundry was a plus.
Expected to do the dishes (fair enough) but did not provide dish cloth or tea towel.
Location was good for us.
Not too much clean. We choose it becouse they offer a breakfast but after booking they wrote us that it will be no possible.
Hygienic very very bad.. The bad is broked. The smell was terible. I will never go back in this hotel. Very expensive is not deserve even 1€.
Staff were helpful, the appartment was fine for the type of trip we were doing and they accomodated my dog at no extra charge. Good restaurant on site too.
The noisy neighbours were not policed very well despite there being a noise curfew in the T&C's. Some of the communal decor very dated.
The kitchen had a few cooking tools, dishes and glasses. The room was simple but extremely spacious. We loved the terrace. The parking lot was very usefull.
This facility is not a hotel. It does not offer 24 hour concierge. There is nobody at the reception between 7:00PM and 8:00 AM. Therefore, if a guest was to arrive after 7:00PM, checking in would be impossible. Guests are provided a code to enter the facility.
10 mins walk from city centre Reasonable price Good swimming pool
Basic facilities only Reception closed until 3.30pm
a good organization for this kind of rent apartment and the rooms are not so bad. even if you arrive when the reception is close, they manage a way to let you get keys and whatever you could have need. but advice them in advance! there is also a pool in a good shape
maybe a little bit far form the centre if you walk. but it is ok.
The hotel had a nice pool and the apartments were nice and spacious.
Staff didn't speak any English which made it a bit difficult.
Spacious rooms Well equipped kitchen
Balcony in need of re-painting and cleaning
Not a lot.
This complex has virtually no onsite service personnel. The reception desk is only open for three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. Only a couple of hours all day on Sunday. We came out of our room one early evening and realised we had not brought the key (which is was a clunky mechanical item with a half pound fob – not a card as most places have). The notice outside the CLOSED reception desk had an “Emergency Telephone Number” - it also had a telephone number for a “Locksmith”. On phoning the “Emergency Number” we were told to contact the “Locksmith”. This we did and he got us into the room at a cost of 85 Euros by using a “house breaking technique” Nearly every apartment door on our floor exhibited the same damage as this technique causes. In some cases obviously repeatedly. In a normal hotel guests leaving their room and forgetting the key is a normal occurrence easily rectified by staff at the reception desk. At the SUN CITY APPART HOTEL a guest’s absentmindedness is considered to be a means to make EXTRA MONEY and rip off the guest. DO NOT TOUCH THIS PLACE WITH A BARGE POLE.
