Hotel tamaris is the worst hotel I have ever booked through booking.com. I suggestion to the managment is, kindly remove this hotel permanently from the list. Hotel staff is not cooperative at all. Hotel building is very old n in a miserable condition.even elevator is not working. Rooms r very small n toilet is by name. I could not even stand in the shower. It is also far away from the center of paris.its hard for all the tourists to stay this much far n enjoy the city

I would not recommend this hotel to any travellers the reason why we could hear from our room people walking up the stairs or the lift, showers going all hours of the night. People banging doors all hours of the night the breakfast was pathetic for 8.00 euro you receive a louzy cup of coffee louzy orange juice and 1 cruisant and 1 hard role what a pathetic breakfast. The hotel was not what we expected and we could not wait to leave this hotel after our 3 nights of sleepless night sleep. We have now moved to a more appropriate hotel where you can actually not hear people banging doors and you actually get a decent breakfast for the same price. If any australias ever see this hotel my recommendation would be never to stay look elsewhere

Location close to Metro, Retro lift - had a flavour 3 person room was disgusting, dirt was everywhere, it was simply black in in some places from dust, bathroom had loads of fungus, and walls peeling off, as our 3 person room was on ground floor it was really damp and uncomfortable

The only thing we like about this place is the location.because it is close to the metro and only couple stops to the gare de lyon station. This hotel need a major renovation, everything was so old, the elevator should be in the musee, all the furnishing is dark and old. It is very depressing when you walk into the room.it was very noisy from the street and from inside of the hotel, you can hear everything.

It is a very convenient location as our friends live close by The bathrooms are tiny, especially as my husband is 6' 4", but that is to be expected for a traditional building

An exceptionally friendly staff, who provided very valuable recommendations to me a non-Parisian. Rooms are very small, but for the price it was a bargain.

Easy-access to city center, the location is in the main metro line of Paris. The breakfast is not good and the bathroom is too small for showering.

Nice enough room, seemed recently renovated. Staff cleaned everyday while we were out. It was cheap 25eur per person per night. Location close to a great food fair on wednesdays. Not a great location maybe a 40min ride from the center. Wifi is only in the reception not in the rooms was the biggest problem. They add on a per person tax when your checking out so the price online isnt the actual final price.

Very good location, 100 m from Metro Port de Vincennes, max 15min to Louvre, direct line. Very clean, cosy. Sideway street, cheap parking just outside the hotel's door. Very good price. Continental breakfast (very poor). Some trouble on the street, during the night. Walls to thin and poorely isolated.

I chose this hotel because it is near the bus station from which we can take a direct bus to the airport - it was convenient as I had a ver big bag. The walls aren"t sound proof, so you can hear everything, even when your neighbours open or close the door, or when someone is going up or down the stairs. Therest was a fair value for money

Close to the Metro station, staff were very friendly. The rooms were very poorly sound-proofed. We were kept awake by people talking and watching television in the next room, and footsteps on the stairs and corridor. The elevator was not working - they claimed it was being repaired but we never saw anyone working on it- and we were on the 4th floor. The pillow was lumpy and very uncomfortable. They hairdryer emitted a lot of noise but only warm (not hot) hair at very low speed.

Pretty 2 star hotel, with lovely staff, good location for my purposes. The lift was out of order, I lived 4th floor. For the sake of fairness, they should reduce the price because of lift that was broken.

It was on a convenient metro line The tamaris was fair and a reasonable price but too far out. Once you are out for the day there is no reason to come back. Nice cafe across the square for breakfast
