Hotel tamaris is the worst hotel I have ever booked through booking.com. I suggestion to the managment is, kindly remove this hotel permanently from the list. Hotel staff is not cooperative at all. Hotel building is very old n in a miserable condition.even elevator is not working. Rooms r very small n toilet is by name. I could not even stand in the shower. It is also far away from the center of paris.its hard for all the tourists to stay this much far n enjoy the city

The staff always forget what you require and forget to put shampoo, paper in you bathroom

The hotel was cute and I had read past comments which worried me, but my stay was perfect I couldn't fault it , I would happily return

If any thing you could hear your neighbours but that's the case in Paris the hotels are compacted , it wasn't a problem though.

An exceptionally friendly staff, who provided very valuable recommendations to me a non-Parisian.

Rooms are very small, but for the price it was a bargain.

Very good location, 100 m from Metro Port de Vincennes, max 15min to Louvre, direct line. Very clean, cosy. Sideway street, cheap parking just outside the hotel's door. Very good price.

Continental breakfast (very poor). Some trouble on the street, during the night. Walls to thin and poorely isolated.

Pretty 2 star hotel, with lovely staff, good location for my purposes.

The lift was out of order, I lived 4th floor. For the sake of fairness, they should reduce the price because of lift that was broken.

Quite area, the staff was very helpful and cheerful, nice and reasonamble breakfast.

We booked a double superior room one month in advance and we got it for a very good price. The room wasn't big but we had everything we needed for a short stay in Paris. We had Internet in our room because it was the first floor. The stuff was very helpful and very kind- all of them spoke good English and were always there if we needed them. The location is perfect - metro around the corner, close to station Nation - a few minutes on foot, a lot of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes for a good price. I can recommend this hotel but be a realist and bear in mind the quality-price relationship and don't expect a 5-star-hotel.

I loved that Tamaris was right off the metro line. We took the metro everywhere with no issues. I love that the staff spoke many languages.

The hotel was a bit overpriced for the quality. The room was tiny with no air conditioner and had ants. The overnight staff was not very helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the Tamaris was perfect for visiting the city as the Metro is just a few minutes walk away. We just needed a place to sleep which was clean and comfortable and for this purpose this hotel was good value for money.

The only thing we like about this place is the location.because it is close to the metro and only couple stops to the gare de lyon station.

This hotel need a major renovation, everything was so old, the elevator should be in the musee, all the furnishing is dark and old. It is very depressing when you walk into the room.it was very noisy from the street and from inside of the hotel,you can hear everything.
