“ I've been staying for 12 days at the Tamaris. The stay was really nice and so are the staff, in the end I was almost sorry to leave. My warmest congratulations to the hotel for their choice of personnel. They know how to really make you feel at home, and if you need anything it is like asking a family member. Congratulations from the heart, you were fantastic. ”

Near the Metro station. Has lift. It was really really NOISY in the room! Although I asked for a quiet room, I could hear everything of the whole floor from my room. I could even hear the whispers of a couple from the room next to me at night (fortunately I don't understand French...). The walls and doors had no sound-proof at all . All the in room furnitures and decorations are quite old. And the shower was a joke...Anyway I don't understand how this hotel can get 6.5 points score here... 非常吵!室内隔音为零!慎重选择!

Location of Hotel is ok Hotel is very dirty and old. Staff is not very helpfull and is trying to earn money by from credulous tourists. They made me pay €5,- to park in front of the hotel (Public street, free parking). This hotel would realy be my last advise in Paris, there are much better hotels for a lower price.

It is really a small but nice hotel located near Porte de Vincennes, and you have Metro Line 1 going straight to the city centre. Nice room with a double bed, a small but clean toilet, a wardrobe, a TV and a desk. And very kind staff, a welcoming reception! I love the old and narrow elevator very much! It is unique~ The sound of neighbours could go through the wall, this is a little bit annoying, but my neighbours were not noisy. The breakfast is ok, but you don't have many choices.

Good location, near the best metro line (line 1). During my stay there were three different receptionist, 2 men and a woman. The 2 men where welcoming and helpful, but the woman was very cold and even a bit rude. She didn't even care to look up when she was spoken to.

The location was great! Right across from the train station..maybe a 2-5 min walk...small store across the street that we were able to get sodas ect from. McDonalds is just a block or so away. The beds were very, very, hard. So uncomfortable that we decided to check out early. Rooms are very small but very standard for European hotels. You must leave your hotel key at the front desk any time you leave the hotel. The only saving grace for this hotel is the location and price. Will not be staying here again.

Very convient for Metro, on direct line to Champs des lyses and all the attractions. Very quiet safe location. Clean and tidy. Convient for going out for a meal and coffe breaks. Bathroom was very small and bit awkward, but adequate for a couple of nights. No facilites to buy a soft drink or get a coffee etc. to buy a can of pop you go to the hotel next door. So buy your things first.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was not informed that there is a giant construction site across the street. Sleeping past 5 in the morning is impossible because of all the noise. The walls are paper thin I could actually hear someone's phone in another room vibrate. His ringtone was off. The shower is terrible. It is way to small and difficult to get in and out. I cut my self on a sharp edge in the shower. The maid never replaced toilet paper so I was left to fend for my self in the aspect. Terrible experience I would recommend that no one ever stays there

The breakfast staff were very nice and I liked the dining room layout and decor- very tasteful. 1) the bathroom layout was very very odd. I could hardly get in and out of the shower as the toilet bowl was located right next to it and the door could not be opened fully. 2) The room was not vacuumed the whole time I was there - 4 days. I left a ribbon on the floor just to check if I was right and I was! 3) The window did not shut properly so I was freezing my ass off- had to go to bed with socks and a pullover on. 4) The lift (although quaint) was small that going in with two bags was quite a challenge.

I found the hotel staff professional and friendly. They were there when needed but their presence was not too much. They were helpful if asked any question. They had all the local information needed for a short stay. They obliged to requests if possible. I liked that the towels were changed daily. The carpets need replacing. The sounds from other rooms carried across too clearly so that other people's conversations could be heard.
