I liked the location, very central.

The double room and the bathroom are quite small. Ideal for 1 person only. The address was not easy to find, since Google map gave a wrong direction, indicating to take the Passage de les Maires, which is opposite to the hotel. So it took me morethan half an hour walking around the area, almost at midnight. I finally found it asking around to people.

Staff were pleasant and bed was comfortable. The hotel has the potential to be a lot better. if it could address its niggling problems.

Shower support did not work. No written guidance in particular on the television operation. Toilet broke down, lift broke down, used tea bags not replaced, blown light bulb not changed from previous tenancy. General lack of attention to detail and upkeep. A nightmare of noise from the deposit of a thousand pieces of scaffolding on the road outside my window at 6.30 in the morning over two mornings!

Position

The location was superb, with easy access to bus, metro and many plsces of interest were within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The advertising misrepresented the rooms. One had to book a superior room to find the quality that was represented in their literature. The en-suite was minute. Breakfast was meagre.

Mainly the support from two attendants, Magda e Mafalda. They are from Portugal, speak portuguese with brazilians very easy and know the city very well, supporting us with metro and other explanations. They worth the hotel. Localization is very good since the hotel is in between two metro stations (republique and strasbourg-saint denis), each one 3 minutes walk.

La chambre n'était pas très propre, une chaussette trainait au sol à notre arrivée, je l'ai signalé, mais elle y était toujours à notre départ 2 jours plus tard!!! Le téléphone ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre, je l'ai signalé, mais il ne fonctionnais toujours pas à notre départ. J'ai trouvé le ménage très superficiel, il y avait encore des cheveux qui trainais sur le lavabo et dans la baignoire des visiteurs prétendants!!! C'est vraiment dommage, ce manque d'hygiène gâche un peu le cachet de l'hôtel et des chambres qui sont vraiment très sympa. Dommage il faut faire absolument le ménage... Je trouve aussi le petit déjeuné trop chère pour se que l'on reçoit, on peux déjeuner beaucoup mieux dans un café pour moitié prix!

Uniquement le calme de la rue dans laquelle il est situé.

Manque d'hygiène. Salle de bain avec les moississures dans la douche. Sous le lavabo carrelage vetuste, moisissures et poussière. Chambre, sol poussiéreux et parquet très abîmé entre le passage chambre/Salle d'eau. Plateau comportant les tasses, poussiéreux lui aussi. Il n'est pas agréable pour le client de dormir dans un endroit ou le ménage est négligé. Dommage, car le mobilier, la peinture des murs de la chambre et les rideaux sont agréables.

Situation calme, personnel acceuillant.
