Mainly the support from two attendants, Magda e Mafalda. They are from Portugal, speak portuguese with brazilians very easy and know the city very well, supporting us with metro and other explanations. They worth the hotel. Localization is very good since the hotel is in between two metro stations (republique and strasbourg-saint denis), each one 3 minutes walk.

The Hotel Taylor was brilliant - we loved it. It was excellently placed for transport, restaurants and cafes and only a brief stroll to some lovely shops. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I liked it so much I want to go back. The only thing I could think of that is a slight negative was the fact it had no air conditioning and was quite warm in the room - even in June. But there was a fan provided and the hotel is on such a quiet street that you could easily sleep with the windows open so it didn't affect us really.

Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Street 'entrance' easy to miss the first time, but location handy if arrival by train into Gare De l'est (from Germany). Neighbourhood seemed good too... Would probably stay here again (but not on level 1!) Room 105 comfortable but internal hotel noises would keep light sleepers awake! Larger people would not be able to sit on toilet, due to small bathroom! Housekeeper storeroom outside down hall and creates noise, just through use, not inconsiderate loudness on housekeepers part. Unavoidable. Hotel staircase with bare wooden steps creates noise through this room's walls... Would stay here again, but definitely request room on level 2 and above.

Very clean and the room was spacious. In a quiet street. Very pleasant. Thank you. Left luggage area is protected by a code but the door was open when we arrived. Hopefully the code is changed each day? The roof outside room 101 was full of cigarette ends and had not been cleared for some time. We drew this to the attention of the concierge.

This is a great little hotel. The checking in staff are very friendy and helpful. Rooms are quite small, but hey, this is a reasonably priced hotel in the middle, more or less, of Paris. Room was very well equipped and the bed was the most comfortable that I have ever slept on in a hotel. Well done, Hotel Taylor. Location is great. 10 mins walk from Gare de Nord, 15 mins walk from Notre Dame and a few mins from 2 Metro stations. Being on a small one-way street also means that the Hotel Taylor is very quiet, something unusual in Paris. Comfy bed and quiet street leads to a good nighst sleep. A coupel of nice cafes just around the corner. I would definately go back again and can't recommened this hotel too highly. It's as good as it gets in this price bracket, if not perfect. I suppose some people would not like the location. It isn't really by anywhere significant, but I guess this is why it is quiet and well priced. There are metro stops within a few minutes walk so for me this isn't a problem at all, in fact a plus.

Nice little boutique hotel. Well llocated in the heart of Paris. Calm as it is on a back road. I liked it! I had the back luck the WIFI was down as well as the TV. This issue might have been related. Breakfast was so so for the 15E expense.

Clean Rooms were to small. Very deceiving from website. So was the toilette facilities. Should include breakfast in the price. Far from the real tourist area of Paris. Metro though compensated for this.

I liked the location, very central. The double room and the bathroom are quite small. Ideal for 1 person only. The address was not easy to find, since Google map gave a wrong direction, indicating to take the Passage de les Maires, which is opposite to the hotel. So it took me morethan half an hour walking around the area, almost at midnight. I finally found it asking around to people.

The location was superb, with easy access to bus, metro and many plsces of interest were within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The advertising misrepresented the rooms. One had to book a superior room to find the quality that was represented in their literature. The en-suite was minute. Breakfast was meagre.

Staff were pleasant and bed was comfortable. The hotel has the potential to be a lot better. if it could address its niggling problems. Shower support did not work. No written guidance in particular on the television operation. Toilet broke down, lift broke down, used tea bags not replaced, blown light bulb not changed from previous tenancy. General lack of attention to detail and upkeep. A nightmare of noise from the deposit of a thousand pieces of scaffolding on the road outside my window at 6.30 in the morning over two mornings!

Därav passade Hotell Taylor in bra I vår budget.
