The area where the Hotel was located was within the university student campus. The immediate and general area was well catered for with sex shops and dingy nightclubs. We made sure that we did not stay out late!!

Perfect size for 2 friends sharing. Good location near the station and near to the tram. Ideal for exploring the city by foot. We had to check in after hours and staff sent a very helpful e-mail explaining what we needed to do (collecting keys from a drop off point).

Bit noisy outside at night with people passing by (not so much traffic) but no more so than most European cities. Was a bit apprehensive that the reception wasn't staffed at night (we had to try twice to get our keys from the drop off point) so a phone number somewhere obvious would be helpful in case of any problems checking in (there may have been one I just couldn't see it!).

Off time check in is very difficult to foreigner, room cleaning and towel replacement evey 3 days of staying

The location was horrible. The streets were dirty, scattered with homeless people, loud traffic, loud people at all hours of the night wandering about. The rooms were not noise proof at all. The rooms smelled like pee. The breakfast you paid €7 was small and not worth it at all. Horrible stay.

the quite big window with sight on the street, nice breakfast and relaxing shower with door which you can close.. just an awesome room.

the breakfast was expensive (excusive) and in my opinion the street where this hotel is didn't look very really save (the people here), but it was close to the station and that was really nice.

It is close to the Gare St. Jean station

The photos on their site are highly misleading. Very basic accommodation and in a sleazy part of town.

Room was nice, clean, quiet, location not very sympa, but ok, close to city centre by tram. Ideal for few nights stay.

It is good place to stay as it is close to Bordeaux train station.

Its neighborhood is ok but not very good.

I enjoyed the fact that we had a double bed and a sofa in an alcove. The building was very secure, though unfortunately there was a man yelling on his cellphone in the hallway one night, which scared us. The neighborhood didn't seem the "safest" but we had no trouble walking to and from downtown. Overall the price we payed (55 Euros/night for 2 people = 22.5 per person per night) was about the same as it would have been for a hostle. Good experience.

very good deal for us to stay in a studio room but paid as single price
