The staff were gracious and the room was spacious for a three-star hotel, recently renovated in contemporary shades of mud that I'm sure are an improvement on whatever was there before. Reasonably good soundproofing in the room at a crowded intersection. Charming garden. Hallways need some refreshing. |

City Centre 10 mins away on foot, room a haven of tranquility with view over a very large walled garden in the heart of the city. Character hotel with many original victorian period fittings and a working lift from the same period. Very calm, no restaurant but many are within walking distance |

Staff was pleasant and assisted as necessary. Room was decent.Bathroom had just been reworked and was excellent. Hallways could use some remodeling and carpet replacement. |

Due to flight delays I arrived almost a day late and I was not charged for the night I missed.I am a seasoned traveler and this be one of the cleanest most comfortable in its class. |

Le confort de la literie a été très appréciable, ainsi que l'amabilité du personnel. La propreté de la chambre a également été très agréable. Le fait que la chaudière ait été en panne au moment de mon séjour a occasionné un très gros désagrément. C'est la raison pour laquelle j'ai mis des appréciations basses aux rubriques "confort équipement" et "rapport qualité prix". |

Das Hotel war mit Sachverstand renoviert, wunderschönes Jugendstildecor. Das Hotelpersonal sehr ferundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, neu renoviert, das Frühstück reichhaltig und eine überaus nette Bedienung. |

De "Agatha Christie" look. Oud Engels stijlhotelletje, prachtige mozaiek vloeren, zalig oude parktuin (wel niet zo goed onderhouden). Nieuwe badkamer. Alles perfect in orde. Het was ontzettend warm die dag (35°) en natuurlijk was het zonder airco ook navenant warm in de kamer maar de ligging, de rolluiken en de sfeer maakten dat ruimschoots goed ! |

Meeste kamers zijn gemoderniseerd en voorzien van alle comfort. Kamers aan de voorkant hebben veel last van het straatlawaai, kamers aan de achterkant kijken uit op groot tuin/park en daardoor rustiger. |
