In the Finistere region, right next to Saint-Jean beach, this residence offers apartments with a kitchenette overlooking the sea. Guests have free access to the spa center, a quarter mile away.
Score from 133 reviews Good
This hotel dates from the 19th-century and is just 290 metres from the beach and 500 metres from the scenic port town of Douarnenez.
Score from 82 reviews Very good
Halfway between the center of Douarnenez and the Tréboul marina, Hôtel Du Port Rhu is open all year round. It features 12 rooms with private bathrooms with LCD TV and free Wi-Fi internet access.
Score from 180 reviews Excellent
The Moëllien is 2.5 miles from the coast, in the Finistère countryside. Each guest room has a private bathroom, a balcony and TV. Free Wi-Fi access is also available.
Score from 73 reviews Very good
The heated pool and other spa facilities available. The convenience of going to the spa with a connecting passage way in your bath rope.
The fees for the massages are over priced. Please book early for treatments because we couldn't get any 30 mins massage during our 3 days 2 nights stay.
The staff was wonderful and having direct access to the thalasso was perfect. The extra events avaiable made the stay even more wonderful. Fantastic vacation!
The bed was very hard.
Good position for beach access and coasral path walking. helpful staff
WiFi access difficult. opening my room door was difficult but nearby maids very helpful. bathroom was clean but needs an update. towels really poor quality glad I did not pay full price and just had one night stay.
Quiet hotel with good pool area. Pleasant staff
The only washing products in bathroom were in wall containers and ours were empty. Very warm bedroom and a hot duvet
The position close to the beach. cafe just across the road with great coffee.Lovely coastal walk .We loved the area and will definitely be returning to the hotel.
Just a little glitch the room would have benefited from air conditioning.
Having the spa pool and sun balcony looking onto the beach. The food was exceptionally good. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The photo on the web was deceiving as it showed a sea view and the hotel did not overlook the sea.
The staff and the hotel are great.Helping and doing all they could to help us enjoy our stay
Great service from the receptionists and added luxury with the pool / spa etc. Good size room and good bathroom.Great public transport bus link to harbor and town just outside.
The Hotel inside was very hot all day and night making it uncomfortable to be in and to sleep in.Had to sleep with the windows open to get some air which let the noise in from the Bar opposite. The noise stopped at 1 am. We were there over a weekend so maybe not so bad during the week. Didn't use the Restaurant or have breakfast there as it was too expensive.
The food was amazing with excellent service! A very pleasant friendly hotel, with nice bars restaurants and a great beach on the doorstep. Loads of parking available immediately next to the hotel.
Can be noisy if the windows are open, and a little stuffy without. We took a small fan and it was fine.
The situation ans comfort
The location was ideal right behind the beach-stayed in April so was quite quiet-but I expect the area transforms in the Summer months. Used it as a touring base. The restaurant was nicely decorated, the food excellent, likewise the breakfast.Very helpful staff.
All in all pretty good value-nothing not to like
We we're lead to believe by the info that the hotel was on the bay. It was only a two block walk but ,we were looking forward to a bay view. The view from our room was over looking the parking lot. Also the creperie that was mentioned was never open.
Near beach. Access to spa via underground passageway .Evening meal was excellent. Large car park across road. A few restaurants within walking distance. As a resort it had a lovely sandy beach with a footpath along the shore to Douarnanez - the views were breath taking
The fruit salad at breakfast was tinned not fresh.
I've got a late deal which was excellent value for money. The hotel is a bit old, but very clean and generally well maintained. You see the efforts of the management to please the guests. Spacious room, good shower and SPA is clearly a bonus. Located far from city center but close to the beach and to fantastic seaside promenade. Varied breakfast buffet, a bit expensive though. Overall recommended for a short-term relaxing stay.
Bedding was not exactly to my taste - my back hurt in the morning. Wi-fi requiring log in everytime the device is re-open.
Rooms clean and comfortable Staff friendly. It was a good price close to the beach for a short break with the children.
Very clean comfortable hotel. Our room was large airy and well decorated. Good shower. Staff were friendly helpful and professional, we would choose this hotel again in or out of season. Lovely beach closeby and friendly bars and restaurants around the corner. Great situation although no real sea view as such.
Wifi a bit tricky, got there in the end most times. The first night we ate in the hotel. We found the food reasonably priced, nicely presented and decorated although a little bland. The fresh fruit dessert option was very disappointing. Some dry looking clementines, one small over ripe banan, some yellowing grapes, but the pears were fine. A little lacklustre, but overall the meal was ok. At 13€ pp we decided not to have breakfast at the hotel.
