I like the design of the entire building. The staff is really good. I really like the argentine guy.
The staff are good and they have open area inside the hostel.
They are close to the metro, that is good, but around that area I saw many of Chinese prostitute. And also the kitchen is very small
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean and cosy rooms, useful location. Would go again!
Small breakfast in a tiny, crowded space.
Clean, comfortable, great atmosphere. Full kitchen available to all guests. Nice courtyard sitting area. Luggage lockers with locks included.
I loved the place -- fine breakfast and a chill bar with cool staff. All in all I'd definitely go back to this place.
It is a bit far from everything. You're about a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro which makes getting around easier, but you'll be doing a lot of walking or a fair amount of metro-ing.
friendly staffs, awesome breakfast (croissant, butter, jams, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk, corn flakes), individual power socket near each bed, got socket in toilet. Each room has own toilet(clean) so no need use e hostel public toilet. got a mini shared balcony for each room separate by metal railing, use card key so can slot in wallet easily, beds r clean. got common kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, stove, basin so u can cook anytime, many power sockets in common area n quite many young travellers to mingle with too, has own minibar selling drinks n alcohol at cheap price compared to outside bars(2.50€-4€), coke etc at 0.05€ per glass.
iron bed frame is making squeaking sound whenever u move on it, so high chance u will wake up e others or get woke up by others. Lol. Not much bad points other than this.
It's little bit expensive but the staff was very helpful :)
I loved the decor and upkeep of the hostel. The building is planned well. The rooms are beautiful and modern. The common area/kitchen is modern, useful and inviting.
The timer on the shower was bit annoying. Having a shower strategy definitely helped. And washing your hair will take forever. I also felt that the processing time at reception is too slow. And you could easily wait 40 minutes to get directions or check in or purchase a drink... this really needs to be attended to.
Superfresh, clean, modern, cool and relaxed hostel in Paris.
Lovely staff! Also thanks for the free lockers and luggage storage
Noisy courtyard at 22-23, I found it hard to fall asleep even in the 2nd floor..
Great friendly staff, great facilities. Definately recommend to others and good price too.
The staff is helpful, there are two comps with net available for everyone, the breakfast was enough for me) It's really clean.
You have to climb upstairs with your luggage bag which isn't so easy. A guy in my room was snooring, so I had to wake up early in the morning((
I must say I've stayed in a few hostels around Europe,of them all The Loft has stood out.Corteous staff, colourful rooms and neat place.Exceedingly glad I stayed at yours.Would be back with my Clan.Merci!
Bathroom is really small. Breakfast is just OK. Seems like the price we get on booking.com is lower than the amount you will be charged when you check-in, pay a bit attention, but not that big difference, though.
The decor is great, staff are very friendly, facilities are good. 5 mins walk from the Metro. Good atmosphere. Good shower. Ok selection of restaurants/bars nearby, especially if you like Asian food.
Check in is a bit late at 3pm. The general area of Belleville is not fantastic, and didn't feel particularly safe. The actual side street the hostel sits on is fine, but the Main Street is a bit busy and unclean. Not a good area for nice dining, but decent value.
The WIFI was fast. The breakfast coffee and croissant were very good. The staff were always polite, especially the cleaning staff.
Way too noisy at night..no way to get a good nights sleep. No thought given to female dorm. Only tiny mirror in the dark bathrooms for 4 girls! They need a mirror, ideally full-length in the bedroom. No IRON !!
the staff, service
check out quite early
Easy to find from the street. Easy to make friends. I didint have any room mate but the place where we eat breakfast had friendly atmosphere and easy to say hi to the other travelers.
I dont think you want to arrive at night for the safty reasons.
Not far from the subway, nice rooms, not expensive
A bit noisy
The kind staff and great ambient
My roomates-but cant blame the hostel for that!!
I really liked that the metro station was so close! The rooms were so nice! loved the design. They also had an outside area where you can sit. WIFI is located everywhere which was convenient. That area was like china town in Paris. LOTS and LOTS of restaurants around.
You have to walk up a monster hill to get there. I had to walk up that hill twice because I couldn't find the road. The street sign isn't visible from the main road. Good thing for their big sign I saw it from a distance.
cozy atmosphere, very friendly place
