-Position could be ok if you use metro -Staff are very nice
-Wifi not cover all room -Cold water during the day -No control of noise by the staff -Breakfast is from 7.30 to 9.30(the problem is that if you arrive at 9.15 there are nothing to eat anymore)
I stayed at the loft for 6 nights. This was our last stop after 6 weeks of travelling and I really appreciated the quiet st. No getting woken up by sirens throughout thw night. The local area has cheap food options and the metro station is just down the road and really easy to navigate.
The bunk beds were a little awkward as the top bunk is low (so you can't sit on the bottom bunk). Also no individual reading lights always makes things a bit awkward. The kitchen facilities are pretty basic with only one semi-working hot plate. Only small issues and overall a great hostel.
Hostel had everything we needed: a clean bed, a shower, a nice common room, free breakfast and a 24 hour reception. Great for young tourists like us!
It was a bit too cold to sleep because of the bedsheets
Staffs are very friendly and helping. There were enough numbers of plugs in a room for everyone.
For guests who has heavy luggage, there is no elevator so that one has to take narrow stairs which was the hardest thing to me during the stay. But the staff kindly helped me :)
I had a lovely stay at the Loft. The hostel is located in a nice area. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. The staff was very helpful and friendly and I felt at home right from the moment I entered the building. The breakfast was varied enough with bread and cereals, tea and coffee.
The breakfast room is very small. At first I couldnt find a place to sit.
Good location and nice service, clean room and bathroom.
You can access to the centre in 20 minutes from just one tube,it was worth to paying this cost.
Central heating was out of order. So it was freezing in my room.
Great staff. Patient with another large party that was difficult.
Although very clean and thoughtful I felt it was a little sterile. However I appreciated the cleanliness.
The reception service is good and friendly.
Everyone was helpful, if you're happy to, you can walk a fair distance to all tourist spots with no problems
you can cook your own food clean place and also rooms very strict about hostel rules and this is good for the communal living beautiful building and style
very early check-out and very late check-in hours, you can wait when you arrive the hostel.. it can be added some salty food like cheese to the breakfast
location,staff & facilities
the television does not show any news like CNN etc
- design - cleanliness - well-informed staff - my roommates - breakfast! I don't understand people who write negative comments about this place. Seriously the interior is just great. Also during breakfast if you wake up early enough you will get enough food. The location may seem dodgy but in my opinion is quite safe.
- low bandwidth wifi
Spaces are clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast has croissants and bread, coffee, milk and juice. Staff is friendly, which is a plus in Paris. Good value for money overall, if you consider the average cost of accommodation in the city.
Why doesn't each bed have its own light? Rooms aren't spacious (but that is Paris). Breakfast space is so small you feel like coming early and leaving early. Metro line 11 is the nearest, a 5 minutes walk.
Location Price Clean and New
crowded and noisy
i like the atmosphere there, it's social. i am able to meet everyone from difference countries. The kitchen is warm, you feel like you are safe here.. And the music is cool, you can hear it from almost every where inside the hotel.
Nice staffs, multilingual, and very accommodating and fun to talk with especially Mr. Alexander... :) I love the idea of a "garden-like" entrance to the stairways going to the rooms and there is a wifi available inside the room, which is a plus points coz we need not to stay in the living room or near the reception just to surf the net like other hostels where they just have a common place to use the wifi... I can therefore say that my stay in this hostel was an amazing experience. I get to know other nationalities where we stroll the city together and had a lot of fun and share life stories and whereabouts of our countries... I would definitely recommend this hostel to my friends...
I suggest to have a bigger mirrors inside the bathrooms or at the back of the door where we can check how we look like in our outfit of the day... :)))
I booked the hotel because the reviews said the place is very clean. It did live up to my expectations. It's even cleaner compared to other hotels I've tried. I was in a 4 bed dorm and I like the fact that there is a shower/toilet inside the room. The staff are very helpful and friendly as well. You can leave your luggage without an extra cost. They provide breakfast but it's just cereals and breads and some hot drinks. The place offered a lot for a cheap price so I cant really complain.
Nothig really.. I knew it was a bit of a travel from the main tourist areas so it wasn't a problem. I think it's a 15min metro ride from pyrenee. And the station is about about two blocks walk from the hostel.
Room is clean Breakfast is good
The Bed is not very comfotable
Very close to subway station
too hot during the night
I like the design of the entire building. The staff is really good. I really like the argentine guy.
noisy patio locality
The staff are good and they have open area inside the hostel.
They are close to the metro, that is good, but around that area I saw many of Chinese prostitute. And also the kitchen is very small
