This was my second stay and loved it so much, my husband and I spent our 25th anniversary there. If you have an opportunity, visit Bordeaux. It is charming. And if you do go, stay at the Grand Hotel de Bordeaux. The ideal rooms are on the front of the hotel facing the Bordeaux Opera House, and the plaza. We stayed one night in a room on the other side of the hotel and it was lovely. But if you have the opportunity, the suites on the front are the way to go.

Our favorite place to stay, nice to be treated like a vip once in a while. In this hotel every guest is treated like a royalty. A must stay when you are in Bordeaux! Try their brasserie! Beautifully situated in the centre of Bordeaux, we'll be back.

This hotel was amazing! The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and the spa was excellent. Our suite was immaculately clean and very luxurious. I would definitely return to this hotel!

I liked the way that hotel staff responded quickly and effectively with two minor problems encountered: lack of WIFI reception in room, and inability to call up movies on room TV. Youmna is a name that I remember as having given excellent service throughout our stay at the hotel.
