We are set in a rural location just outside the town of Courdemanche. The property dates before 1834 and we have kept many of the original features during the renovations. All the rooms have ensuite shower rooms. We are south facing and enjoy the full sunshine of the day. We are 9 Km from the town of La Chartre sur Loir, 40 km from Le Mans and 50 km from Tours, perfect location for exploring the many attractions the area has to offer.
I am Scottish, love living in France and my main hobby is cooking. I enjoy all types of cooking.
We are approximately 8 km from the Forest of Berce, with the oldest oak tree in France. Ideal for cyclists of all skills. We are in the heart of the Jasnieres vineyards, and perfect spot for walking through the vineyards and stopping off for some wine tasting. The area has many great golf courses. Of course there are many farmers markets were you can wander through the various stalls enjoying the sights, smells and sounds that they have to offer. In the summer months, take a trip up to Le Mans for the evening light shows and also enjoy the Car museum at the famous Le Mans race track.
