situation, comfort even in luxury hotel staff can on strike, it is what happened during our stay, so very few services (breakfast very poor), staff walking around tapin on drums.... but they still charge the full price..... |

Immaculately clean, large room (by Paris standards), extremely comfortable beds. Our Deluxe interior room (facing the courtyard) was perfectly quiet. Location was unbeatable: just around the corner from Cafe Angelina, a short walk to the Louvre and d'Orsay museums. I'll definitely return to the Westin on my next trip. TV connection was iffy in our room, but to hotel's credit, they readily offered to change our rooms to remedy the problem. Difficult to use TV-based internet was a bit overpriced; local & toll free telephone calls cost 4 euros per minute, which is absolutely exorbitant. No inroom coffee maker or electric teakettle, although coffee was offered for sale in the lobby every morning. |

If you book well in advance, you can usually get a great deal, especially compared to the rack rate. I look forward to a world when all hotels have free WIFI. Until, expect to pay. Alot. |

The hotel charged exhorbitantly for extras. They charged five euro for a cup of hot water and eight euro for a small bottle of hot water from the minibar. |

Location, concierge It seems that they try to save on shampoo, shower gel. Brakfast is very expensive but not varied. |

The hotel is of a very high standard. The 1st Floor delux room was large and airy with a very comfortable king-size bed. Our room overlooked the inner courtyard which was well lit and quiet. The staff were very helpful, including booking a restaurant for us. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. The buffet serving area was small and cramped. When we were there it was crowded and difficult to move around. Probably the worst layout I have encountered in a hotel of this standard. |

good example of luxurious hotel. the room was not that spacious but bigger than the room in standard hotels in paris. however, the rooms get narrower in upper floors so i would strongly recommend to request for the room in 1st or second floor. having to ask for ironing, and no tea or coffee making facility. |

the room is unbeliveablly small. i complained and they said the standard room booked by booking.com is the smallest room. its a queen size bed (and toilet without sink) they upgraded me to a bigger room (king size bed and toilet with sink) after my complained however. (but they said the hotel is full when i asked to upgrade when checked in, they had a room after complianed surpiseingly) we were waiting taxi outside the hotel, but the staffs seem let late come guestes get on the taxi first, its randomly? no quene? |

I was thoroughly pleased with our stay at the Westin. We got a great rate for a wonderful room. We felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel was beautiful, quiet and clean with an unreal location. No complaints. |

Friendly staff. Excellent location. Good condition of rooms and facilities. Heating of rooms too hot, and not able to be controlled. Also our room was missing enought natural light. |

friendly entourage with a central location in the 1st arrondissement, at a walking distance of all the main attractions, Vendome, Louvre, Opera, Champs, etc the price of the room is quit exaggerated comparing to its size ,making phone calls from the room localy inside Paris is at a high cost, also very expensive mini bar, small bottle of water costs 8 €. |

The location and conceirge service are good. For a 5-star hotel, the facilities are not comprehensive. The gym equipment is mainly cardio machines and no weights. There is no spa facilities like hot pool, steam room and sauna. Only one restaurant. The room does not come with complimentary drinks. I was staying at the Mandarin Oriental in London before staying at this hotel and the contrast between the 2 hotels is so significant. |

The location, the look of the hotel, the friendliness at reception There should be a second door between the bedroom and the corridor, like there used to be in most of these hotels. The doors bang when they shut, and you hear only too well from your bed. I woke up a number of times. The soundproofing could definitely be improved |

Very small room, definitely overpriced. Waiting time for somebody move our baggage from reception to room was about 1 hour - had to ask receptionist about it twice. As well as minibar never been refreshed during our stay (2 nights) even after asking for it (2 or 3 times). Taking shower was almost impossible - just a hot water and no chance to adjust (hope in our room only). Unacceptable for hotel in this category |
