Visited on foot and took a boat trip around the Lake. Lots of walking following footpaths around the lake. Visited the old town for sightseeing and a little shopping in the newer part of Annecy. Meals were good at night in the local restaurants. Bedroom could have been slightly bigger. |

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room. On the photos at Booking.com, the hotel definitely looks better than it is. The rooms are not as nice as on the pics. Hotel breakfast could have been better; they could have filled up the breakfast items once they had ran out. |

A very comfortable hotel, close to centre of Annecy. Superb underground garage which was appreciated as we had a sports car. Excellent breakfast. We have stayed there twice. |

Very good location for restaurants, shops and the lake. Room on the first floor so need to take the lift. No toiletries in the bathroom. Room not cleaned till late afternoon but this was remedied after we complained. |

Its location and cleanliness. Dislikes cont'd - wouldn't listen to us and gave us a ticking off for not handing it in to her, which admittedly we hadn't but that wasn't how the problem had occurred. On our day of departure, the lifts weren't working. No one told us or offered to assist with our baggage from the 3rd floor - there was just a sign on the lift door. The bathroom is small and organised in such a way that it is difficult for 2 people to make use of it at the same time. This problem is exacerbated by not having a single mirror in the bedroom - the only one is in the bathroom over the sink. The reception staff need lessons in customer care. On arrival we stood waiting for more than 7 minutes whilst the receptionist dealt with another customer and answered a phone call, without even a nod in our direction to indicate that she was aware of our presence, much less an apology for keeping us waiting. This same receptionist then got angry with us when the keycard snapped in two. We were trying to explain that this had happened when it got bent in the lock (it is a poor design) but she |

The hotel is situated close to train station so it is easy to make day trips to Aix-les-Bain, Geneve, Chambery and Chamonix-Mont Blanc. |

The hotel is quite well located in the city center and in a calm street. The lake and restaurants can be reached by walking (10-15 min). It was clean, and the breakfast was good for a reasonable price. We had booked a parking place in advance as it is not so easy to park around the hotel. We were in a family room which was large enough for 3 people. This hotel is recommeneded for 1/2 nights stay. |

Nice modern clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Most of the staff were excellent except for the man who checked us in, he was extremely rude. It did not give us a good first impression of the hotel and would put me off going back again. |

The location was excellent ( a little difficult to spot first time around ), staff were friendly, free wi-fi was useful. Parking right outside hotel. Family room (quad) had two double beds - would have been more convenient with one double and two single or even four single beds. No view from room as it was on top floor and had velux (skylight) window only. |

We very much enjoyed our visit to the Allobroes Hotel. We arrived by bus from Geneva and saw the hotel from the bus, just before it pulled in infront of the main railway station, so we had no trouble finding it. The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly and polite. We were very pleased with our room. The old town & lake are a short walk away We would certainly choose to stay there again.. |

The professionalism of the staff, and the air conditioning during the heat wave! Also, most hotels in Annecy are right on a busy street whereas this hotel is set back somewhat... |

Hotel was clean and room was well cared for. Front desk staff was not helpful especially condescending older man. Parking was a constant issue for all guests. Everything asked of the front desk staff seemed to be a problem even a request for ice. I would not recommend the hotel. |

Central position near to shops, lake and restaurants. Glad we upgraded to a mini suite as the other rooms looked quite small. Breakfast good value compared to cafes in the area. Saff reasonably helpful. View from mini suite ok as was in the front of hotel, but other views would be less pleasant as the hotel doesn't have a nice outlook. |

Only a short walk into the city centre - 5-7 mins. Very clean and smart, good breakfast, with the addded bonus of private parking, although spaces are limited. |

It was close to the old town and therefore was handy for shopping, lake and night life On our arrival to the hotel we were given a car park place which we knew we had to pay for. No problem there. However on our last night there we were told by a very rude man behind desk that we were supposed to have given back our car park spot for other clients. The man was extremely rude, and told us that we had received an email about the car park, which we clearly didn't. I looked it up on the internet there and then, no email from them. He was discourteous, smug, and didn't believe us. Any other hotel would have dealt with this issue on a more professional basis. We were treated so rudely. And awoken everymorning by a lorry that on the side street under our window. We were so maddened that we checked out at 5am next morning. |

The high-standing residence is ideally situated in Annecy city centre, within walking distance of the lake, the old town and the railway station. |
The Apparthôtel Privilodges Le Royal is located in the heart of Annecy at the beginning of the old town, just 200 meters away from the lake. |
Against the enchanting backdrop of Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains, this hotel is ideally situated at the entrance to the city centre. |
Facing the lake and its gardens, our hotel is located in the town centre of Annecy, a couple of paces of the old town and the shopping streets. |
