Tilsitt Etoile    

Good location in a great neighborhood a few blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. Lots of outdoor cafes, walkable and access to subways.

Nothing, completely met our expectations.

Room very small, zero privacy (it was possible to hear everything even if people were whispering...), staff not supporting at all

Close to Arc de Triomphe Close to Ave de Wagram entrance/exit of Metro at CDG/Etoile Pleasant reception staff

The front of the hotel is currently under scaffolding and dark blue netting. There is no sign on the Ave de Wagram side and no illuminated sign at all so very difficult to find on arrival especially if at night. The Rue Brey is scruffy with building materials in piles along the street and bins line the pavement every day. The hotel is poor value for money as bathrooms though clean have worn tiles and scuffed paint. My rate did not include breakfast which is 14eu.

Location was brilliant. clean and modern. Would defenitely recommend it.

The friendly staff who were always very helpful. My room was comfortable and a good size (for Paris standards). I loved the breakfast room and the excellent buffet. Location was great, most of the famous sights were within walking distance.

I found buying the metro tickets difficult. Had to ask for help everytime to get a ticket! No ticket office but just an information desk.

Spacious, room, nicely decorated, clean and french style. L'occitane products in the bathroom. Great location.

The outside of the Hotel was under renovation, so it did not look that nice. Breakfast was a bit expensive.

The staff were very friendly and were very helpful. The location was perfect. The Metro and rer stations are also very near so it was quite easy for us to travel around Paris. They gave us a room with a small garden so it was perfect for our young daughter.

The room was a bit small but I guess this is normal in most European hotels.

Modern, clean, comfortable and a great location at an unbeatable price.

The fact that they charged us for breakfast we didn't have - we got refunded the same day though.

Location and space (nr. 1)

Very very noisy, hardly slept! Upstairs from room 1 there's a room without carpeting. Hardly slept due to young persons staying there. Also, it's on the ground floor and early in the morning there is (limited) noise from there too. Enough to wake me anyway. Also, the third (& fourth) bed does not have the same matrass as the 2 regular beds. Had the same problem once in Prague and at least got sympathy and free complementary breakfasts. Staff here did nothing. One promised a better 3rd matrass but later this did not seem possible.

Location was great , one block from champes elysee major shopping , the arch , hop on hop off buses , metro , retaruants , everything is so convenient ! we were travelling for 10 days now and it was very handy to have a laundramat around the corner , it was all new and very clean !! small grocery store across from laundramat , eatting in paris can very very costly ! internet was nice to have . staff were nice and some times helpful !

Bathroom was extremely small but we mamaged ! if this is our only complaint , we shouldn't complain at all .

Very helpfull reception staff who continuously gave us directions and booked our cabaret show at Lido. Fairly good location just down from Arc de Triumph and a Metro station. Also had a small local store and several chemists near by.

Our bathroom was not very clean, the breakfast was very simple and you had to pay for hot food during the "complimentary" breakfast. Kitchen staff were not very friendly and spoke very poor english.

In thу bathroom there was need to repair plumbing - there was always plenty of the water on the floor after taking shower.

Excellent location, just 10 mins walk to the top of the Champs Elysees. Considering its location it was very quiet at night. Breakfast good.

Close proximity to metro

Air conditioning was not working despite my request a couple of times.

Location (near to the Champ Elysee), Room (clean and spacious), Internet (Free WIFI access, with multiple access for multiple gadgets though WIFI dropped intermittently and had to re-login to enable re-connection from time to time), Breakfast (spread was good), Front Desk (very friendly)....

Toiletries (shampoo and shower gel) should be refilled generously

Location is perfect, next to the rer and underground. Rooms were clean, wifi was working great and it is quite new. I would go back again next time that I go to Paris.

I liked the proximity of the Tilsitt Etoile to the city - its location cannot be beaten, as it is mere blocks from the Arc de Triomphe, the metro and the Champs Elysees. It was clean; it was what I expected for the price.

The walls/floors are thin, but nothing that can't be cured with a good pair of headphones. I disliked the fact that you have to give them the key to your room when you leave. When I returned late on Saturday evening, I had to wait to get my key, while the receptionist dealt with some sort of minor issue with guests and the police.
