Timhotel Gare du Nord  

Not far from the Gare Du Nord. Relatively low price.

I do not like this hotel. And the problem is not even in the noise (talks in the hallway you can hear as well, as if talking over your ear. Adjoining rooms listening well too), but in the general relation to guest, and in comfort (rather its absence). Oh, yes, fore those peoples who need internet to work - do not recommend it. Free WiFi terrible session always breaks, it's impossible to work normally.

bed and bathroom were clean, nice staff, close to Sacre Coeur

Size of the two rooms we had was REALLY small.. we could barely move inside.. bathroom was newly done however, the shower door was already broken. Well, it's Paris.. relatively high price for rather poor quality. Comment not related to the hotel: We parked our car in the street and sb scrached it..

It's a brilliant place and I will personally recommend. The staff are very helpful polite and friendly. And their services are just marvelous.

De ligging is subliem in het hartje van Parijs. Ongelooflijk vriendelijk personeel. ...zelden meegemaakt in Parijs.

Nabijheid van de trein kan storend zijn.

Staff were friendly, room was clean.

The bathroom smelled like a sewer - it was clean just had a very nasty smell to it.

A friendly and courteous hotel in a great location for Gare du Nord. The breakfast is extra but the pastries are good.

The hotel was comfortable and well located for getting about the city. The staff were friendly and helpful.

No problems with the hotel but a bit disappointed that the taxi driver did not know where the Gare du Nord was located!

Over-priced hotel (140 EUR for small double room with dirty carpet) in the middle of not very safe and nice area of Paris. The breakfest is not worth for 10 EUR.

Proximity to railway station

the location is excellent. the hotel is neat. maximum utilisation of space with just enough comfort and no more. may be can provide for tea and coffee in the room,

Went to Sacre Cuore, dined opposite the station _good restaurant

though a reasonable diostance from the stations, located next to a busy railway

The room was comfortable with a view across to Sacré Coeur. The reception staff were most helpful and friendly, and it was great to have a downstairs sitting room and access to a computer. Very easy access to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord.

Unfortunately, proximity to the train stations also meant proximity to the sound of the trains. Our room directly overlooked the railway lines, and the noise was huge except between midnight and 5:30 am! That's not the hotel's fault, obviously, but we would probably not choose this hotel again for that reason.
