This was exactly what we were looking for - a nice, clean, private place to sleep each night. The location turned out to be amazing. In a non- touristy area with several nice restaurants, bakeries, and lunch spots. Only a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame, two minutes to a metro stop (Jessieu), 5 minutes to Mouffetard. Honestly, couldn't ask for a better location. Right across from a park. Ask for a street side room. The windows are very sound proof and the ac worked out nicely on the two days it shot up to the high 90s.

The hotel is quite close to Jussie and Place Monge Metro stations and to buses stops which can give access to many different parts of Paris. It's also not very far from many attractions of the city and from Gare de Austerlitz and Chatelet Station. The access, then, to either Orly or Charles De Gaulle airports is very easy. Moreover, the place is not a lush one, but comfortable and adequate for those who want to know Paris (and not a luxurious resort...) with an accommodation a fair price. The lift and the aisle which gave access to the room were both extremely narrow and small. That was difficult to cope when we were there with luggage or when we came across other guests in those places.

Great location, 200 meters from subway Jussieu, overlooking the entrance of the botanical gardens, in a not too busy street with a few cafes for a coffee, but also 5 minutes away from the many shops, bars and restaurants on and near Rue Mouffetard. Hotel has a (small) elevator, a roof terrace, free wifi, tv with more than the usual 5 channels including cnn, decent sized rooms for the price, clean and quiet. Liked the view from the room. In the two star range one of the best, value for money, and would for sure stay again. I did not take the 10 euro breakfast and by the looks of it, one is indeed better of getting a coffee and croissant on the other side of the street. But that's all I can think off.

We booked a double room. It was of decent size. The bathroom was clean. We had free internet access. Staff was very friendly and offered advice on places to visit in paris and on using the metro. Concerning location, the hotel is situated in a classy neighborhoud, near the Sorbonne university. Rue Mouffetard is just one block away, it has a lot of restaurant and busy student life. The hotel is also conveniently located next to the Jussieu metro station. If you're a good walker, you can walk to Notre Dame Church and other attractions nearby. I didn't like that we had to keep that key with the staff while away. But that's just minor.

Confortable bed and silent air condictioning. Very good breakfast. The bathroom was quite small, some things were broken and in the fisrt day there was no hot water till 7:30 pm. They don`t have rooms without carpet and our room was smelling old carpet. But the worst thing about the hotel is the location. We booked it based on the booking.com reviews about location, but now we completly disagree to them, unless you always go home by metro. The hotel is about 20 minutes walking from Notre Dame, wich is a long jorney by the end of the day...

The location is fantastic - right opposite an historic park, in a peaceful yet bustling residential area with plenty of independent shops, bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants only a short walk away. It is also only a short walk to the Seine and Notre Dame.

We were visiting a friend and stayed here for the proximity to her. It is very close to the metro stop at Jussieu and a short(ish) walk to the Notre Dame. Good base from which to explore Paris at a reasonable rate. The lift was tiny and the room was small (but comfortable). The hotel staff were rude and generally unhelpful. The cleaners arrived our first morning at 9am while we were still asleep. Breakfast (which has to be eaten on the trays - presumably so they don't have to clean up) is supposed to finish up at 10:30, but we were down one morning at 10:10 and everything was cleared away without explanation (we had to pay for breakfast in advance of the stay). The following morning, we came down at the same time and the place was full of guests. There was no cutlery left and we had to eat off napkins. They eventually brought us one tray from the back and told us to put our food on it. No apologises. Disgraceful service.

The hotel was well located and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were always cleaned and the towels changed without having to ask for it! The rooms were a tad small, a small compromise given the fantastic location.

The location was really convenient, near metro station as well as many choices on foot, as rue Moufettard, Pantheon, notre Dame. Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. Maybe the only disadvantage were that the room was very small and the elevator too.

Hotel was only a 5 minute walk from Jussieu metro, and the staff were both helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very pleasant, with a good selection of breads/cereals etc in a well lit room overlooking the jardin des plantes. Good selection of tv channels (mostly French, but some in other languages too). Overall, the hotel was ideal for what I needed, namely a 1 night stop over for business purposes, and I would certainly recommend the hotel to travellers with similar needs. A minor complaint...! The decor in the bedroom was quite shabby, and it would definitely benefit from refurbishment. For example, the tap handle in the sink was broken, and there were several scuff marks on the walls. Although this did not have a negative impact on my stay, updating the fittings would certainly enhance the experience of staying there!

It is in a lovely location - the 5th is probably one of the nicest places for tourists. It's in a quiet area, really safe and hear a metro stop. The grogeous jARDIN des Plantes is across the street. I think it was a little expensive for the quality of room. But I realise that this area is very expensive. The furnishings were very dated and there was a slight smell of must.

Excellent location right opposite Jardin des Plantes. Within walking distance of main tourist sights. Close to Notre Dame. Restaurants nearby. Nice clean, friendly hotel. 24 hour reception and good breakfast. Fair size room for a Paris city hotel. We certainly made a good choice picking this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Despite having requested a twin room when booking, and following up the week before the visit with an e-mail (and another one from booking.com), we were given a double room. This was then changed, but it shouldn't have happened. The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are small and the lift is tiny, but ok for a short stay. The price is not value for money but I guess that's big cities for you.

The hotel was a little further out than what we wanted but the price and availability sealed the deal. We had 2 double rooms for 3 of us. Rooms were small, as we expected. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Other than that, it was quiet, comfortable and very French! The batoboat stop is within a good walk to the hotel. They have a breakfast for 10 Euro but we didn't use it. However, other hotel guests seemed to be enjoying it. They need to get all new firmer pillows. Elevator was very noisy when running at night as our rooms were next to the elevator shaft.

The location was great being very near to the metro. Also the receptionist who was working in the afternoon was very helpful. We loved the breakfast especially the freshly baked crossiants. The room was small and the roof terrace was very unattractive.
