We loved the location of the hotel but would advise not for the faint of heart the slopes are steep and often translate into steps. We enjoyed the view and all the outdoor eating it was a great area to walk around in. The metro was very convenient and we made good use of it to visit many other historic venues in Paris. The young man at receiption was great he recommended and booked really good resturants for us. We don't speak French and that was never an issue people were exceptionaly friendly The accomodation at the hotel is comfortable quite a bit smaller than we are used to but that was expected.

Excellent location in Montmartre that is close to reasonable eateries and take-a-ways. Staff are helpful and willing to make your stay enjoyable. Did not use breakfast option but looked yummy. Metro Abbesses 5 minutes walk, Gare de Nord 30 minutes

Excellent position in Montmartre. The staff was kind. The room was sufficiently clean (although with a moquette, which I don't like particularly). The WiFi connection is working even at the last floor as promised.

We have stayed in this hotel before on several occasions and it has been a perfectly located bolt hole for exploring Paris. This time our stay was sadly an absolute shambles... I am beyond disappointed, especially as we had taken family members there this time as part of a Paris weekend Christmas present. Having stayed here many times, I was confident about booking this hotel as part of a christmas gift for parents and in-laws. Sadly I was mistaken. The check in was shambolic. One of the 'superior' rooms we were given still had painters in and beds and toilets were sealed off. We were then given another room which was already occupied by other members of our family! Despite booking superior rooms (only two were available to book) they were not and our standard rooms were shockingly small - almost impossible to get into the toilet! Carpets were pulled up and stair bannisters broken.... We had also prepaid for the rooms but were told we had not by the mzn on reception snd had to argue about this briefly too!! What has happened to our little bolthole that was Tim Hotel Montemartre!!! Beyond disappointed and so embarrassed for our guests!!!

well located. staff was friendly. good value for the money. . I do recommend this hotel. minor things to improve, like the door to he room was uneven in relation to the frame and light, noise could go through the gap. there were these huge flies coming out from nowhere that we kept killing during our entire stay

The location is superb - the very best for romantic stay in the steps of Amelie Poulain. Also the staff were very pleasant and helpful. View from the window - Sacre Coeur and the city, loved it. The room was quite small, but as far as I know, this wouldn't be better almost anywhere else in Paris in the same price category.

Lovely room - clean; comfortable beds; nice decor. Great to have a kettle, tea and coffee provided. Spectacular view and great location. We would definitely stay here again - loved it. No milk provided in the room to use with the tea/coffee provided. When we asked at reception we were told none was available.

Have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the last few years and have found it simple but clean with friendly staff. Its position is excellent being near the Place de Tetre. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. Abbesses metro station is about 300 metres away. Shall be returning.

This is a little gem of a hotel in a beautiful location. Lots & lots of typically French, not touristy, restautants within walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on 4th floor and we had the most amazing views over the city. We will be going back again!

The location of the hotel was excellent for the annual wine festival we visit in Montmartre in October. We would not consider anywhere else. Certain rooms offer views of the Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky enough to have a room with a fantastic view of the latter.

The people in the reception was very helpful and made a good service. The day we were checking out the cleaning staff was there 3 times before the deadline. That is annoying and absolutely not a part of the stay.

Location - 5 mins from Sacre Cuer; right in the middle of the artists quarter and boulangeries galore: Lovely with cafe outside our room, and musicians singing and playing all day - along with a "public" poet. Staff spoke English, very helpful and polite. Breakfast was a bargain and all fresh. We asked for no stairs and our room was on ground floor (reception had noted our request which was great). No tea making in room (but not a major problem) Can be noisy in early hours of morning (we did not mind at all as we were imbibing the culture)

The staff at reception were really nice. It was great to be able to use the internet. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. Value for money and we had a really good time in Paris, beautiful. The location, district was very nice. The rooms are run down, it would be good to fix the bathrooms, shower, windows etc.The whole building needs renovating, looks really bad from the outside. We overlooked the park, drunks at night and fights, however as a heavy sleeper it did not really matter to me, but our neighbours were annoyed. After seeing the pictures on the internet and reading the reviews, I expected more. I booked 3 rooms, we paid for the superior room with view, but got one on the 2nd floor, our friends who came later got the one on the 4th floor.

Great location, 3 Minute Footwalk from Metro Station Abesses Badly soundproofed, you could literally hear everything through the walls. We didn't sleep through the nights, because the closing of doors on our floor literally awakened us rudely every single time. Almost impossible to find good sleep without Ohropax! Therefore we wouldn't return to this hotel despite great locastion and very friendly staff.

“The room was perfect. I expected something very small and cramped, but everything was very well designed and I even had space to stretch out. The entire design was very refreshing. Everything was sleek and clean. The room smelled amazing too, as does the apricot soap they provide in the bathroom. The staff are very courteous and helpful with even the littlest problems. Also, the free wifi and available computer in the lobby were a great plus. It is very central in the city and very close to one of the larger metro stops, Saint-Denis.” Carolina, Zagreb |
