The hotel is quite central. For ham, yoghurt and spoons you should be having your breakfast early. If you ask they'll be pleased to help you. First night we were put in a room we didn't book. Twin beds instead of a comfort double bed. The bathroom lookes a bit worn out and shabby.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Timhotel Montmartre, and the next time I visit Paris I will be staying there again. The hotel is simple. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff is always super friendly, ready with suggestions for places to eat and off the beaten track places to visit. The location of the hotel is superb!

The location is superb - the very best for romantic stay in the steps of Amelie Poulain. Also the staff were very pleasant and helpful. View from the window - Sacre Coeur and the city, loved it. The room was quite small, but as far as I know, this wouldn't be better almost anywhere else in Paris in the same price category.

Lovely room - clean; comfortable beds; nice decor. Great to have a kettle, tea and coffee provided. Spectacular view and great location. We would definitely stay here again - loved it. No milk provided in the room to use with the tea/coffee provided. When we asked at reception we were told none was available.

Have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the last few years and have found it simple but clean with friendly staff. Its position is excellent being near the Place de Tetre. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. Abbesses metro station is about 300 metres away. Shall be returning.

This is a little gem of a hotel in a beautiful location. Lots & lots of typically French, not touristy, restautants within walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on 4th floor and we had the most amazing views over the city. We will be going back again!

It was appropriate for short stays where you wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel. The square outside was very noisy at night and often kept us awake with deliveries and late night party-goers.

The location of the hotel was excellent for the annual wine festival we visit in Montmartre in October. We would not consider anywhere else. Certain rooms offer views of the Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky enough to have a room with a fantastic view of the latter.

A very decent, no-nonsense 2**-Hotel in one of the best locationsof Paris just midway up Montmartre with great views over Paris from the higher floors. Very friendly and attentive staff. Positive surprises: A water boiler in the room, flatscreen tv with unusually big channel selection and moderate prices for breakfast. On the downside: No minibar, typical Parisian soundproofness (i.e. poor) and the smallest shower cabin I ever saw. And: Rooms with a view have their price ...

The people in the reception was very helpful and made a good service. The day we were checking out the cleaning staff was there 3 times before the deadline. That is annoying and absolutely not a part of the stay.

Location - 5 mins from Sacre Cuer; right in the middle of the artists quarter and boulangeries galore: Lovely with cafe outside our room, and musicians singing and playing all day - along with a "public" poet. Staff spoke English, very helpful and polite. Breakfast was a bargain and all fresh. We asked for no stairs and our room was on ground floor (reception had noted our request which was great). No tea making in room (but not a major problem) Can be noisy in early hours of morning (we did not mind at all as we were imbibing the culture)

Everything was appropriate for its value. The elevator was too small as travelers with bigger luggage wouldn't fit in.

The staff at reception were really nice. It was great to be able to use the internet. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. Value for money and we had a really good time in Paris, beautiful. The location, district was very nice. The rooms are run down, it would be good to fix the bathrooms, shower, windows etc.The whole building needs renovating, looks really bad from the outside. We overlooked the park, drunks at night and fights, however as a heavy sleeper it did not really matter to me, but our neighbours were annoyed. After seeing the pictures on the internet and reading the reviews, I expected more. I booked 3 rooms, we paid for the superior room with view, but got one on the 2nd floor, our friends who came later got the one on the 4th floor.

Great location, 3 Minute Footwalk from Metro Station Abesses Badly soundproofed, you could literally hear everything through the walls. We didn't sleep through the nights, because the closing of doors on our floor literally awakened us rudely every single time. Almost impossible to find good sleep without Ohropax! Therefore we wouldn't return to this hotel despite great locastion and very friendly staff.
