I booked the hotel for 4 nights and for some reasons at the last day I changed my reservation to another hotel which was one of my best decision in my life. When I attended to hotel to pay the cancellation fee, I understood that the you have to climb for 5 minutes to reach the hotel from the Abbesses station. Also, I relized that they offer me the room which is completely different from the pic in Booking. When I asked for the reason, they told me that they are in the renovation process and that's why the rooms are going to be like this at the moment. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many hotels before and simply I can say this the worst one I have ever seen. If you are going to visit Paris, I would recommend to book a hotel in 6 or 7 areas.
excellent position, very nice staff
breakfast too expensive so didn't have it, bakery/ café very close on rue d"abessess very good value. bathroom very small but shower very powerfull and hot
Central location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Hippy "music" noise from the square outside the hotel way into the night - we complained at 0315 but were told the police wouldn't come. This was every night we were there although less noticeable when there was drizzle! Also the first night people were walking in and out and talking loudly outside our room from 0345 until 0515.
Excellent position, walking-distance from Montmartre, handy for the Metro (Abbesses). Generous buffet breakfast, and very helpful desk staff. We would stay here again.
Quiet room, location.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was Paris-sized with amazing views, comfortable beds and functional, clean bathroom. It was a really special stay and I'd definitely recommend it and stay again.
The breakfast area was very small, it would be nice to have outside seating in nice weather.
The location is wonderful. A really beautiful, atmospheric little square, close to the metro, shops and signts of Monmartre. We lay in bed at night with the window open and watched the Eiffel Tower and the whole of Paris spread out and shimmering below us. Magical.
The bathroom was really, really small - and frankly a bit smelly. You have to lug your luggage up a lot of stairs and slopes to get to the hotel from the metro. There can be a bit of noise from the streets at night - but none of this should put you off.
Staff were incredibly nice and helpful in all queries/problems. Room was very clean on arrival, daily cleans were satisfactory. Arriving late was not a problem (was pre-arranged).
We could not pay upon arrival, which was a bit annoying as we had taken cash out to pay. Shower tube was broken when we arrived, but was fixed immediately. Unfortunately the walls weren't as thick as I'd like, as we heard every door close as people got up and arrived back during the night and early morning, as well as any shower they were taking and any heavy footsteps. Other than that a good stay though.
Staff were extremely rude and the receptionist wouldn't get off his mobile phone whilst dealing with our checking in. He didn't realise my wife spoke French and he was abusive about us to who ever he was talking to on his phone. The room wasn't ready for over an hour from our checking in time. We asked for a room with a view and a double bed, when we arrived the receptionist told us that if we wanted a room with a view it would cost an extra 30 euros per night. We booked a superior double but there was nothing superior about it. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. The room was dirty, dated and very small. The toilet had stains in it and there was hardly any room to move in the shower. I would never go back to this hotel.
Staff very helpful & friendly Comfy beds. Hot shower. Good location for Monmartre, Sacre Coer, artists square. Plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants nearby. Near to metro, short trip to centre.
Small room, described as superior however more shabby than shabby chic. Breakfast room small area inbetween reception and lift, didn't book it but seating area was horrible. French window doors did not lock in our room.
lille plads til morgenmad, tidlig op ellers kø
That they gave us a room on the first floor facing the noisy street, a room with no air-condition - so we had to choose between a little fresh air with noise or less noise. They moved us to a better room after we complained - but we noticed they gave newcomers the bad rooms. Breakfast was overpriced and lousy
Location Early mornings at the cafe Friendly staff on reception Good shower
Room very small for 2 adults
The view - unbelievable view across the rooftops to Pairs laid out below.
Didn't respond to 1st email enquiry, sent curt, rude response to 2nd. The requested baby crib not in the room, then following complaint not delivered until 9.30pm (way past any small child's bedtime).
room size and hotel location
Wonderful location, ideal for Monmarte/ sacre cour area - walking distance to metro.
Very very noisy outside our window, people were literaly partying on street below our window untill the early hours
Bedroom very small
Badly broken chair in room Wardrobe also needed attention cracked balcony window The room (418) is cramped
The location, if you want to be in the area of Montmartre was good but of course ,to spend time in the rest of Paris it is better to be closer to the Metro rather than up a big hill
The rooms were tiny. Maybe they would be OK if you didnt have any bags. The pictures on the internet were certainly not pictures of the dowdy room we were given. We were offered a room on the ground floor with falling down curtains etc in spite of having booked a superior room As this room was unacceptable we were told we could have another room at a higher price than the superior one booked. This room was on a higher level which was undergoing renovations The scraping and banging reverberated right thru our room. Not ideal for "romantic" Paris
wonderful view from our bedroom. perfect location and this was our 3rd stay at Montmartre. Will be back
no hairdryer in bathroom
Location was perfect for us
Getting in and out of the shower was very difficult..dangerous? The wifi was awful.
It's really very good and it's a great option for those who want to be in a great place in Paris. The staff is perfect and location is in a great area of the city and very near a metro station. I'm surely will be back.
For very little the hotel isn't perfect. Anyway, the things that were not so great are not enough to be gladly back at it. The bed is very big with makes the room small, so you must be slightly ninja to move around it. But once you get used to it, it's all right. Where the breakfast is served is rather small too, so if there are to many people, you may have to wait a little. There's are always plenty options of it at the very great places nearby the hotel. Don't think twice. If you want a good option at Montmartre, Timhotel is for you.
The view! Awesome location.
Little rooms, nothing worked as it should, from elevator to the staff..
Staff is really nice and location is good!
Washroom is not clean enough
