Decor was nice and staff was very helpful. Good location, ideal for visitors, Gare ST. Lazare and Bus stop right at the door step. Hi end dining also available. In their family room space bit tight for 4 people.

+ Perfect location (5 min walk from the Opera, and La Fayette). There are also many cafes/diners around the hotel that are open until late at night. The Roissy bus from the airport also stops a few minutes away from the hotel. + The staff were very friendly, and helpful. - Similar to the rest of Paris, the rooms (particularly the bathroom in it) could be smaller than expected. However, if you're only staying for a few days, then you probably won't spend too much time in the room for it to become an issue.

The hotel location and area is excellent! The price of the room was fair enough. The room was so tiny that we didn't even have enough air to breath! The bathroom was too small as well and this was really uncomfortable!

Location and the staffs are generally sincere and helpful. The lift was not working. We have to walk up to the 6th Floor twice. Extremely tiny rooms, without space for luggage. If you are backpackers, with no children and stay for one night, you will be fine. Otherwise, consider other option.

Good connections on the Metro station almost opposite Staff friendly and helpful Central location for Les Grand Magazins shopping district. Hair dryer in room and iron available on request. Decor very tired and basic (without the budget price tag) At 13 Euros breakfast is over priced and far cheaper in the eateries near by.

Breakfast Service was polite, but not enough professional. Hotel has frozen money for the first night after booking, but after check out you should pay total sum including the first night.

We were a group of 6 women, a wide age range, in Paris for art galleries, sight-seeing and shopping. The Timhotel at St Lazare was just excellent, the staff extremely helpful, obliging and friendly. The location could not be better, with metro right next, plenty of shopping (including artisan market) and eateries of every kind. A taxi from Bateaux Mouches was only e8.20, Which gives an idea of proximity. We would all definitely go there again. We couldn't find anything to complain about!

First time to Paris for my granddaughter aged 12. We had a twin room overlooking a busy road and had great fun leaning out of the windows watching the crazy Parisiens honking their horns in their hurry to start their weekend. Hotel situated in L'Opera district of Paris within walking distance of la Place de la Concorde, les Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. There was a small permanent market across from our hotel that had stalls to delight a 12 year old - jewellery, scarves, trinkets. And churros which were delicious. The staff in the hotel were helpful, but it's useful if you can speak French as not all the receptionists are bilingual. There was a waiting room in Reception with free wifi and coffee and a place where you could leave your luggage until you were ready to go. Had requested a twin room but was given a double. This was changed when I complained to Reception and we were given a twin. It was quite small, the shower was tiny, there was hanging space but no chest of drawers which meant we left our clothes in our cases for the 3 nights we were there. Was a bit disconcerted to find a Starbucks across our street and a McDonald's under the hotel. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as it was 13 euros each. We ate in a small local restaurant where we could get coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and croissants for just 10 euros. The lift broke down one morning which was a bit trying as we were on the 6th floor. However it was repaired within 24 hours so wasn't too inconvenient.

Very close to a few different stations. Reasonably priced for the area. Wifi worked fairly well. Checking out at mid day was also a plus to be able to sleep in. I have already recommended this hotel to other friends going to Paris Not on the hotel, more on the area. Paris is very expensive food wise. We ate very simply and tried to budget where we could and still spent a crazy amount on food. Supermarkets are also mainly closed on Sundays so it is good to get your food from a supermarket on a Saturday.

We were very pleased with the location which was excellent for this business trip. We will definately visit this hotel twice yearly as it was clean and comfortable and very convenient. This hotel was very handy to the metro. I really cannot find a fault with this hotel which was suited to our needs. I will be recommending it to friends who will visit Paris.

Hotel clean rooms god size. Shower was good. Location is great. Close to Saint Lazare main railway station and metro. Lots of good restaurants and bars close by. Although on a busy street we were not disturbed by any noise. Will definitely stay here again.
