The location is great for the Opera and Blvd Haussmann
Dirty rooms. Carpet was Filthy, there was mold in the toilet roll holder- disgusting! For a 4* you expect much much more. The shower was terrible no pressure
Fairly decent price for area
The building smelled bad and rooms didn't give you that freshly cleaned feeling.
a block away from the Villiers Metro station was very convenient. From there any part of Paris is only minutes away This is an ancient hotel in an ancient building. Its extremely spartan, but does provide you with a bed, relatively sound-proof windows, and a bathroom to wash up in. There are no chairs to relax in but the room is too small to accomodate them in any event, besides you go there to sleep, not to hang out.
no safe in the room safes near reception area too small to accomodate a laptop on top of which there is a 4 euro charge per day for this use of this inconvenient and inadequate safe constant wifi connection problems zero ambience in the breakfast room the elevator is barely functional no housecoats available we had to drink wine out of plastic cups a gross shower curtain wants to cling to your body in the shower no shelves to put your stuff on in the bathroom
The room was dirty and very small, there were foreign hairs in the bed.
Room was spacious and internet connection very strong.
The reception area is a little out-dated and can lend the impression that the hotel will not be as nice and comfortable as it is.
Clean well appointed room.
Room a bit small
good location, friendly staff, tea and coffee
size breakfast offer
Convenient location to the train station and nearby cafes. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and spoke English. They planned our daily excursions and arranged a shuttle to the Airport.
Clean and pleasant room. Helpful staff. Perfectly adequate for a short stay and well located for Metro and local restuarants
No bath, only a shower
Clean, and located in an excellent area. Friendly, English-speaking staff.
Definitely not what a 4*-hotel should look like; small, cramped rooms (bathroom is tiny, maybe 2m * 70cm), no refrigerator, and in the elevator two persons can barely fit. Also, if you have a hard time falling asleep, be warned that at night the whole building trembles when a train passes to the nearby station.
Staff (3 out of 4). I met 2 female staff & 1 male staff (Senegal) who were very courteous and helpful.
staff (1 male staff with the long hair). His attitude was very bad.
personal is nice - trying to help , room is clean a bit small but not terribly , bathroom good , clean and nice, Internet is excellent(see streams with no problems , metro is close
lack of frigider, noise from metro traines every couple of minutes, quite boring around
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Basic but clean and comfortable. Nice, quiet area.
Wifi didn't work. The internet service in the lobby was extremely slow. The phone in our room did not work.
Good rating for cleanliness, v important! Pleasant staff, welcoming. Comfy bed, slept well. Quiet area. Good location with access to metro easily.
Bearing in mind this has a 4 star rating!! Bathroom very small and dark, one group member is over 6 foot ex-rugby player and shoulders touched both walls in the shower and sitting on the toilet! No fridge in the room. Rooms small and cramped. Light bulb blown and hotel wouldn't change it on a Sunday. No other facilities I.e wasn't required but no bar, only food available was breakfast and limited selection for 15.50 euros!! Unfortunately ?? Noisy Fellow guests at midnight I had a marathon to run the next day.
I never liked it .
1-They claim four star but honestly is not even two star. 2- rooms very small ,lifts small and trible ,steps angle like fire sharp very small ,refrigrator not in the room I suggest booking .com to stop selling this place
Some of the staff attitude was bad Every time I start a session on the internet i have to enter the e mail !!!!! The lift was not working during the last 2 days . I carried my heavy bag over the stairs on check out No refrigerator in the room& no water for drinking during my stay
Small room, tiny bathroom, uncomfortable
Price, staff location and free wifi!
Room was a little smelly on arrival not sure why because it was very clean :)
Breakfast was all microwaved - no actual kitchen. rude staff. no plug adaptors. No fridge. cleaners came into room without knocking despite do not disturb sign on. Noisy street, rooms definitely not soundproofed as described.
room, staff, lift, corridor, internet. I hate this hotel overall.
The reception staff were very nice and welcoming; They have a pc and printer ready for the costumers to print their boarding passes before going to the airport, that was a plus!
The size of the room, was very small but it was enough for what we needed, just to sleep.
they charged me more than the cost which we have to pay
The location is close to the metro in a nice area with cafes and a wine shop metres from the door. The friendly staff here do speak English, although like all Parisians they appreciate it if you try even a few words of dodgy French.
There was no fridge in the room, which we probably could have inferred from the description. Nonetheless, if you're staying for a while and not eating out 3 times a day (which can be expensive in Paris) it is useful to have somewhere to store one's cheese etc. The major station Grand Lazare is nearby, and in the hotel as in all businesses around here, you can hear the deep bass noise when the trains go underneath. When I realised it was the trains and not the lift, I relaxed, ignored it, and slept well.
