-Wifi was very weak but you don't come to Paris to surf on the Internet ;) - non functioning TV but I didn't mind so much :)
The hotel located in a great location. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Ideal stay, value for money. Amazing.
There was nothing positive about our experience
We strongly recommend that you do not stay at this hotel it was truly horrible. It ruined a large part of our Paris experience. Please stay elsewhere!!!!
1. Furniture are quite good, atmosphere with lights are good, cleaning is good, service personal is polite, bicycles (velib) are near.
1. Room is double, but for one person is to small, table is very small (~50x40cm) 2. No TV remote control (used my smartphone like remote control) 3. Window lock is broken - no possibility to lock the window 4. Noise from outside is big 5. Shower crane is not clean and broken - can not change option of watering 6. No shampoo 7. No fridge 8. Wi-fi is very slow, volume in room 5-15% - only for email sending. The bedding is directly moved into bed - maybe it is nice look, but very unpractical, because need every time to move bedding out from the bed corners.
The lighting in the room is dark... Old furniture, and very small... Picture show as booking.com preview is totally different. Totally is been fools and feel like been cheated. Booking.com should review the picture before approve the let them publish on pages. Disappointed... Terrible trip ever....
Character, and value
One a busy corner so noisy
kindness of staff
no lift, noisy and dirty room, wi-fi working randomly, not in a nice area, far from city center
WiFi, close to the metro station
the room and hotel not so clean, the bad not so comfortable
Location is great, restaurants, just below the hotel is a nice Chinese buffet which was absolutely delightful meal. The gentleman at the night shift always said hello with a good smile. Bus routes right by the hotle, metro and RER close by.
The stairs.. Absolutely horrible.. So narrow, I had to carry my child in her pram up the stairs on the 3 floor and it was scary.. The bed was really uncomfortable. I felt like I was sleeping on springs. First night I thought I had been in a boxing match. The 3 nights I was there was terrible sleep
staff can't speak English, but very helpful. room looks clean, but my friend got bitten by something all over her body!
Lovely room, beautiful bathroom, view from window onto bustling but not noisy street, close to two metro stations and supermarket. Extremely helpful tri+ lingual staff went out of their way to order taxis, store bikes, bags and even refrigerate cheese for us in their adjoining restaurant. Wifi worked well. Would recommend to friends.
As some reviewers mentioned, the corridors seem to be mid minor cosmetic refurbishment which had us nervous. But we needn't have been the room and en-suite were in a beautiful condition.
Taking more mony
The room was dirty, very small and incomplete (walls were only partly painted). The bed was small, broken and unconfortable. The Wi fi was reacheable only from the hall of the hotel an not at all from the room. There was no lift and we had to carry our luggage by ourself on the stairs to the third floor. The window was broken and we found a little flood in the room after a day of rain. The floor was not cleaned daily and there was a lot of dust in the room on the decorations.
Close to metro and restaurants.
Everything was very well.
The room was really Small and it was very difficult to open the luggage there.
Good underground zone; quick to great places in Paris WiFi Good area for cheaper but good food
Staff not always helpful The room was in middle of decorating process Curtain did not fully cover the window Noisy
This is a nasty place there were fleas in our bed. Even though I showed the bites and the insects to the recepcionist, when I asked for a reinboursement to go to other hotel they told me they could not give me the money back. They offered me another room and it was OK. If they allowed this to hapen once you should be aware that it can hapen again. It is horrible to travel while your skin is itching because of the bites.
It actually was a nice place to stay, although I recall some oddities (no glasses or cups in the bathroom for water). The bed itself was decently comfortable. I actually really enjoyed the neighborhood, which felt more like a real neighborhood than other places I've stayed.
It felt a little bit run down. The breakfast at the hotel was not operating for the month. There is no elevator, so if you have to climb to the top floor with bags -- it can be a hike.
Room Location was handy for train and metro stations
Wifi doesn't seem to work on the upper floors
The staff were friendly, lots of good restaurants nearby.
The stairs were hard to navigate, the building needs a few repairs and a coat of paint.
Rather cheap and located near Metro, local streets with lots of restaurants and shops, and near the 'northern events' (Sacre Coeur, Pigalle, Gare du Nord etc.). Very helpful staff, clean room. Wifi OK. Good wifi.
Very simple, small room with few facilities (no fridge, no cupboard, bad mattress, small, unstable 'table' ), but clean. Corridors were not clean (perhaps renovation was going on ?) No lift and very narrow staircase.
Comfortable room, helpful staff, free on street parking from 7 pm to 7 am, great bar across the road.
The location was good and the staff was fairly friendly. It was all that could be expected for the price in Paris.
Our room smelled like smoke and the mattress was stained. There was no AC.
close to metro station, RER
not workinf wi-fi non english speaking stuff
