Taking more mony
The room was dirty, very small and incomplete (walls were only partly painted). The bed was small, broken and unconfortable. The Wi fi was reacheable only from the hall of the hotel an not at all from the room. There was no lift and we had to carry our luggage by ourself on the stairs to the third floor. The window was broken and we found a little flood in the room after a day of rain. The floor was not cleaned daily and there was a lot of dust in the room on the decorations.
Close to metro and restaurants.
Everything was very well.
The room was really Small and it was very difficult to open the luggage there.
Good underground zone; quick to great places in Paris WiFi Good area for cheaper but good food
Staff not always helpful The room was in middle of decorating process Curtain did not fully cover the window Noisy
This is a nasty place there were fleas in our bed. Even though I showed the bites and the insects to the recepcionist, when I asked for a reinboursement to go to other hotel they told me they could not give me the money back. They offered me another room and it was OK. If they allowed this to hapen once you should be aware that it can hapen again. It is horrible to travel while your skin is itching because of the bites.
It actually was a nice place to stay, although I recall some oddities (no glasses or cups in the bathroom for water). The bed itself was decently comfortable. I actually really enjoyed the neighborhood, which felt more like a real neighborhood than other places I've stayed.
It felt a little bit run down. The breakfast at the hotel was not operating for the month. There is no elevator, so if you have to climb to the top floor with bags -- it can be a hike.
Room Location was handy for train and metro stations
Wifi doesn't seem to work on the upper floors
The staff were friendly, lots of good restaurants nearby.
The stairs were hard to navigate, the building needs a few repairs and a coat of paint.
Rather cheap and located near Metro, local streets with lots of restaurants and shops, and near the 'northern events' (Sacre Coeur, Pigalle, Gare du Nord etc.). Very helpful staff, clean room. Wifi OK. Good wifi.
Very simple, small room with few facilities (no fridge, no cupboard, bad mattress, small, unstable 'table' ), but clean. Corridors were not clean (perhaps renovation was going on ?) No lift and very narrow staircase.
Comfortable room, helpful staff, free on street parking from 7 pm to 7 am, great bar across the road.
The location was good and the staff was fairly friendly. It was all that could be expected for the price in Paris.
Our room smelled like smoke and the mattress was stained. There was no AC.
close to metro station, RER
not workinf wi-fi non english speaking stuff
Close to RER and Metro, Nice service, Food - tangine, Good cafe
Room size - about 6 m2
Was tiny and grubby. The wifi did not work the shower was so tiny you could barely get in. The only good thing was that the bed was comfy. Would not go back or recommend.
No wifi, no staff in the hotel, room is horrible, very small TV, no cleanliness,
Lot of noise
We picked Tingus because we were traveling on a budget and wanted to be near a rail station. In those regards, it was fine. It's close to the Brochant metro station and is in a neighborhood with lots of little restaurants etc.
Overall, this hotel was a disappointment (especially for how much we paid). There was trash in the hallways, our bathroom constantly smelled of sewage, the hot water didn't work for a day, the wifi only worked in the hallway of the first floor (and we were located on the 3rd floor), and it was very noisy- both in the hotel and outside the hotel. Bring earplugs! It was difficult to communicate with the front desk as they did not speak English. As bookings.com said, we had to pay for the entire stay when we arrived, so we had no leverage when we wanted to make a complaint.
It was very charming, clean, and great location.
The staff was unable to speak enough basic English. This made some things unnerving and unsettling, to the point of appearing to be rude.
I liked that it was close to the Brochant metro station from where you can easily go downtown.
The room did not look as it was presented in the pictures. It was small, the walls were peeled, the curtains were made out of plastic and were extremely dirty and it strongly smelled like mold. The smell only went away after 2 days during which we left the windows open all time. The so called closet was dirty - i put my clothes there and i spotted one of my t-shirts with a sticky, brown thing.... The promised Wi-Fi did not work at all. The staff was never there....I do not recommend this place.
good value for money
Hard to find and quiet noisy from outside.
The staff were very friendly and helpful just very nice people. Right near the Brochant metro stop good location. The 17th Arr. is a nice more quiet neighborhood but still close to central Paris. Wifi tip, use the restaurant wifi not the room wifi. Really my only downside comment.
Wifi and other guests smoking as I have asthma and smoke free is important for me.
The hotel is quite near to the underground station (Zone 1) and the room and the toilets its very confortable. They have 3 differents members of the staff, the one that take care of the reception during the afternoon and the one that do it during the night are very willing to help us and friendly.
The man that take care during the morning (I believe that he its the owner of the restaurant of the hotel) its quite rude with the people that dont speak french. The breakfast its 5,50 euros and its only a croissant, a juice and a hot chocolate. Moreover, the hotel dont have lifts and their stairs are very narrow (hard work with the luggages!) and when we arrived at the room was at the toilet a already opened soap, what I think that its not so hygienic. But on balance, I liked to stay there.
The rooms very clean and quite comfortable.
The location is dodgy and might get not comfortable around later in the evening. The staff doesn't speak English at all, so it can be a problem sometimes.
