I loved the many restaurants & shops that lined the street. Dining was not a problem at all. The room was ok, except for the thin walls. Metro lines Are nearby & of course Gare du Montparnasse so the trip to Versailles was a lot easier. Tour Montparnasse is also a short distance away.

It's close to Montparnasse train station, metro, bus lines.

The location was convenient, the room quiet, and the staff friendly.

The deadbolt in the room didn't work, though the normal lock was perfectly fine. There was no 'do not disturb' sign. And, the courtyard light was on all night, so that the room didn't get very dark. All minor points.

shower too small, even for a Paris hotel

Despite the fact that it had a high customer satisfaction store, I had doubts about the hotel when i read the critics in other websites. The photos at those websites also rosed questions on my mind.However, the hotel was awesome! I liked everything about the hotel....

Be aware that this is not a luxury hotel or the best hotel in the world.

Staff were very cooperative and helpful, the location of the hotel is good , safe and close to all servies - Resturants, Cafe , Underground station and some good shops .

Great location and helpful staff. Breakfast was good - lots of healthy options and great selection of teas. Room small but comfortable.

Location was great. In the middle of Montparnasse with lovely bars and cafes all around. 3 or 4 metro stations close by making all areas of the city easliy accessible.

Bed was a little bit small. It was an ok hotel, nothing special (besides a great location) but for a two star hotel you don't expect massive luxury.

Bathroom so little, there's no air conditioning, the lift is terrible.

The location was great. it was a quiet street but had more restaurants than you could eat at in 2 weeks with a variety of cuisine and price ranges. The hotel management was very nice to us and gave us complimentary breakfast (normally 8 euro) both the morning after we arrived and the morning we left.

The bed was extremely firm, to the point that it was hard to sleep on the whole night, and i usually prefer a firm mattress. we found several of the hotels we stayed in in france, even very nice places, to have surprisingly uncomfortable beds, so maybe its just a french thing. the wifi was very slow, so forget about downloading a movie from itunes. the bathroom smelled a little funky/moldy. you didn't notice it right away, but if the door was closed it would build up.

Good central location, good breakfast though it's not included, On the first night we had a very small double room and the bed was hard, though clean. And it smelt of cigarettes. But after asking to be moved my friend and I were moved to a much nicer and bigger room with a view the next day. Always worth asking! No luxuries but very good value in good location with lots of restaurants nearby.

Too expensive for the comfort they offer. The room is small, the furniture is old, so are blankets and sheets.
