Francoise is an excellent host & great communicator. The room is small but comfortable - firm bed, quiet neighbourhood. Close to Sacre Coeur & lots of great boulangeries.

To put it simply...we liked everything. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful with information. The chambre and facilities were just what we wanted. Will certainly go there again! The location for us was just right too.

Ms. Martin's personalized care and kindness was unmatched! While in Paris we both got pretty sick with the flu. Ms. Martin contacted a doctor for us, got the medication at the farmacy for us, and cooked for us soup and salad. She treated us like family; we will always be very grateful to her.

Nothing really, except that the first day that we arrived at the home, it was hard to figure out that we needed a code to enter through two doors before getting to the elevator that took us to the 6th floor where Ms. Martin's home is.

Please note that it is not a hotel, but room and individual bathroom in flat. Proprietress (she is also the hostess) lives in flat too in her own room. Below are objective advantages: - very good location; - quiet and comfortable enough; - very tasty breakfasts; - possibility to use main hall and kitchen (not always); - clean; - all tableware you need; - very useful and precise advices from Proprietress about where to eat, to buy, to go; - no stupid hotel rules like "we close doors at 11.00, if you miss the time, we don`t care"; - no thievery possible. In summary, I rate this place at a level of four star hotel.

Below are subjective disadvantages (depend on your health and preferences): - Proprietress has a dog (be careful if you have allergy); - Proprietress smokes (not when guests are in flat); - Elevator is small (you may have trouble with baggage).

Friendly hostess, comfortable bed, clean room & shower, fantastic breakfasts, short walk from 2 metro lines and bus 95 just round the corner. Easy access to many tourist sites and shopping. Some nice small cafés, bistros and restaurants at reasonable prices in the area. On 13th July perfect for 'Bal de Pompiers' in rue Carpeux.
