no wifi on 4 th floor v tired furnishings, couldnt close curtains, aircon didnt work massively overpriced for standard
Very good location.
Small rooms. Very old building and poor facilities. I think the hotel needs fundamental renovation.
The hotel is very well located, with excellent customer service.
noise coming from the street, pour break fast buffet.
the bath had very high sides making it difficult for my wife to get in and out.
Very close to metro station, Louvre museum, Rue de Riveri (main shopping street).
Photos on booking.com aren't realistic, hotel is in very bad shape, dirty....real price for that hotel is max 100 € / room. In Croatia that kind of hotel couldn't get licence for work.
Location is good, right between Louvre-Rivoli and Chatelet. Aircon a plus. Quiet as the room faced an inner courtyard.
Lift was not working. We need to bring our luggage up and down 5 flights by ourselves. Tub was not draining. Shower curtain was so dirty that it turned the shower water brown. I registered upon arrival but as I was being picked up by my airport limo service, the front desk told the driver that there was no such guest in their hotel. Go figure.
the hotel has very kind staffs. During my stay, I was ill. The lady told me I should buy which medicine and the location. She saved me much more money. Her opinion was excellent, and I was well the next day.
The space is very narrow.
location excellent and staff where friendly and helpful
the plac eis in need of refurbishment and facilities are very poor
Location was brilliant, walking distance to tourist sites and metro. Restaurants and shops close by.
Needs updating. Bathroom although not dirty needs refurb. Wifi very poor.
We loved our room, we were in 505 and it felt like we had our own little apartment.
The wifi was poor in our room.
the only good thing is location, close to RER and Metro station
- Facility is old - Room is not well-cleaned - Internet is not stable - Money been stolen in the room even i put it inside of my luggage :-(
The staff are very helpful and friendly
Breakfast is not great value of €16 per perspn
If you are in Paris for pleasure, want to be close to the centre and all the cool hype, this hotel is an option.
Rooms were old, airconditioning was falling apart (literally), the toilet seat was damaged, hot water only after 3 minutes of freezing, wifi: not usable.
proximity to places of interest, restaurants was great, staff was very accommodating and helpful
Wifi was unreliable, and room was a bit tight for family of four
de ligging ; the location
Room was small, hotel near many attractions and metro (underground).
Tiny lift, really a squeeze.
walk in shower
noise from street and nearest room, mentioned to reception about squeaky doors but not dealt with.
elevator, small corridor to the room
Location Friendly staff Good wifi service Walking distance to Louve, Notre Dame I enjoy walking and spent a day walking to All the major attractions You can easily walk to Eiffel Tower in 45 to 60 minutes The Louve is 5 min from Hotel Notre Dame 10min District 2 is good for food and only a 10 min walk
Leak in bathroom
Water supply failed just before checkout, should have delayed maintenance until after 12noon, couldn't shower or brush teeth. Wifi kept needing re-registration, silly system, better elsewhere. No discount cards offered, found these elsewhere at other hotels. Breakfast overpriced, ate outside instead.
In need of a refurbishment No air con and extremely hot in the warm weather A tiny lift that didn't go all way to 5th floor and stairs didn't go to ground floor - not sure what hapens if there was a fire?!
Location was great especially for direct RER link to Gare du Nord close by. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room size was good and beds were comfortable and clean.
Curtains didn't close fully. Bathroom, though clean, was in need of updating.
The location, very central and easy to get to.
This was a bad hotel, very expensive for what you get (such as most of the Paris experience was) and poorly taken care of. Leaving aside the evident lack of maintenance, I could not believe they had 3 huge cardboard boxes and luggage blocking half of the only staircase available to reach the rooms. That is a basic safety protocol! The alternative to this was a tiny elevator with room for two persons pressed as sardines in a can.
Loved the location and the room size and the French doors to a balcony and the incredible quiet at night.
The lobby and bar were under renovation the light switches and elevators were filthy and poorly painted. Strange mix. A beautiful 400 year old building near the Louvre with a disgusting dirty lobby and elevator.
The location and the staff were friendly and polite.
I had to change rooms because the internet connection did not work in some of them at all, and in the other ones was very poor. The rooms were tiny and poorly decorated.
