Tonic Hôtel du Louvre

Het oogt niet proper. Badkamer is oud; WC lekte. Er is nieuw meubilair en tapijt. Er was verf op het tapijt (kamer 205). Ik voel me eigenlijk met die "secret deal" bedot.

De ligging was goed.

De locatie van het hotel is fantastisch. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het comfort is verre van wat er aan foto's op de website getoond wordt. Het is allemaal vrij oud en krakkemikkig, tot en met de lift en de kamer (waar oude rookgeur hangt).

Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Wat betreft aantal vierkante meters kamer/ prijs. Ligging is erg goed

Het hotel heeft een opknapbeurt nodig. Het oogt niet fris.

Location is GREAT ! WiFi works well. Staff are very helpful.

Property needs to be cleaned, painted, and remodeled.

Only the location - close to the Les Halles metro station and several restaurants.

All the rest: the building is very old, incredibly tiny rooms, air conditioning and heating didn't work, restroom door didn't open, the elevator is no big than 1 sq meter, the window didn't open due to the lowered roof, the place to leave the luggage had no safety (was at the public stairs). Cost benefit is not worth!!! Run away from it, there are much better hotels in Paris for this price!

The location was great I can walk to Lourve or Norte Dam .the hotel located really near the metro in shopping district ,so it make me feel safety when we came back late in the night.

Paris was so scary if you went to wrong district ,but this hotel was in the right one

-Breakfast, was horrible and expensive for 6.5Euro -Cold Showers - Quality of room not like advert at all -Room was at top and tiny lift stopped at floor below -Tiny lift (2 people only, or 1 person with a case) I would not recommend this hotel and for the first time in my life was tempted to post a review to guide people away

The location of the hotel. The hotel is closer to the metro station and to the most center streets and famous place of the Paris.

Everything inside hotel: lobby, lift, room with pure furniture, old bathroom, bad breakfast!

easy access to Musee du Louvre and Notre Dame de Paris.

trouble to connect Wi-Fi, narrow corridor and elevator, there was no elevator in 5th floor.

Excelent service from the receptionists. Very funny and curious elevator. Good and confortable temperature at the room. Delicious smell of hand cream at the corridors.

We found the room charming - small but cosy.I Liked the washroom separate from the sleeping area. Pillows were not puffy which we found more comfortable than the usual high ones. The cleanliness was also impressive.

Can't really complain about the staff but we did put in a request for a wake-up call two nights before it was needed and the night before we were to leave to catch our plane we were told it was not scheduled and so the man said he would put the wake up call on for the next morning but he obviously forgot, fortunately I woke up at 6 A.M. to catch our ride to airport. There again, the ride never came until 1 hour after the scheduled time he should have arrived. The area for breakfast wasn't very pleasant too many people coming and going while you are eating. However, the overall stay was pleasant (since we didn't sleep in and miss our flight.)

Very good location and quiet street

Excellent location by Rivoli and Louvre. Some staff members were very helpful with the transfer and restaurant recommendations. Fair value for this money for Paris 1st arr.

Walls are not sound-proof - thus too noisy. Rooms too small. When checking-in instead of the booked superior double as a special offer I got an ordinary room (a mistake of a lady at the reception which was later noticed by her colleagues).

Breakfast

We liked the old features of the hotel..the big wooden door downstairs. The beams in the ceiling and stone work..the furniture and the amazing deep bath. The window is beautiful and the simple furnishings..quite tasteful.It is a very beautiful hotel but needs money spent on it to restore the original features. The reception downstairs is a bit dark and reception desk does not look nice but I am sure it is expensive to run and maintain. Thank you.

One of your staff was quite unpleasant on our last day. She was the blonde older lady on reception Thursday 17th, she was rude and abrupt when we paid for room and did not even look at us when we said "aurevoir"..the other girl was very nice. Why did she have to be rude to us? We did not cause any problem during our stay. Rudeness and bad manners is totally unacceptable and I do not know how she can expect customers to want to return if she treats them like that. It was as if she did not want us to return!..We were both upset as otherwise we enjoyed our stay and all your other staff were wonderful. I wish I had asked her why she was so rude..she should not work there if that is how she treats your customers.

Location and price/quality ratio is very good for Paris.

Initially hotel staff had a problem with all of my credit cards. Breakfast is expensive.

Quality of room #10 is no more than 1 star, while the hotel advertises itself 3 stars.

Excellent location within a short walk of the Louve and Notre Dame. Room was very quaint and cosy and kept clean and tidy. There's not restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty of cafes a short walk away so this didn't really matter.

We were on the 1st floor so there was quite a bit of street noise but I think you get that across most of Paris. The beds were also really hard and it was a bit annoying that we were given 2 twin beds on what was supposed to be a romantic weekend away!
