I liked the bright, cheery room. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choices surely to suit all tastes. Reception staff were speedy and helpful. Never quite got round to eating in the restaurant - next time! Location on the front is great for restaurants, bars and shops. Nothing. Not it's fault it is sitting adjacent to a building site as they are renovating all over Marseille. Taxi to station took 45 miinutes and 20 plus euros!!! Don't go till 2013 when all this work should be finished or, like us, give yourself lots of travelling time.

Excellent location right on the Old Port in Marseille. Friendly staff - best to eat out as the restaurant quarter is just behind the hotel with many cafes Bars and specialist fish restaurants to choose from.

It is easy to locate, ideal for walking to all areas of the city including (obviously) the Vieux-port, the city's shopping area, boat rides, as well as Notre Dame de la Garde. No charge for Wifi is a big plus. Parking is across the street in an underground garage, easy to get back and forth to hotel. I have stayed here on two separate trips and will continue to stay here on return trips.

The morning reception was very good and the room was clean and confortable. The view was zero. The day I left even thought that I has inform the reception for mornig leave and an ealy wakening, nobody from the reception telephone to wake me up.

Location quiet rooms quiet hotel Breakfast at 16€ very, very poor value for money no lounge/bar/reading room etc ie nothing apart from bedrooms and adjoining restaurant room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke

The hotel staff was very helpful. They went out of their way to help us plan our lovely Marseille weekend. We were a group of girls there for a bachelorette party and they had excellent restaurant and bar recommendations. The security of the hotel was not so good. The doors to the rooms do not close tightly unless you push on the door. While we were getting dressed one night a young couple just came strolling into our room. I assume they were looking to rob us, but fortunately for us we were there. It was strange to us that they were permitted into the hotel as they were clearly not guests.
