Excellent location, which makes it possible to see the main sites on foot. Also close to the boats for great excursions at see (islands, les Calanques ...). Perfect for couple of days. Heating system in the hotel - too hot in the rooms and corridors. Staff could make some more effort ... |

unsurpassed location - close to tour buses, boats, Vieux Port, restaurants, Panier district Our shower curtain mysteriously vanished during our second day in the hotel. By the time we got back in the evening, it was too late to have it replaced. |

good room, great location, we had a view and it was fantastic staff were pleasant but just not interested in their customers, this does need improvement. Not sure what exactly but the entrance lobby needs a bit of an overhaul |

Excellent location. Compact but clean & functional room. Nice but compact bathroom - no shower screen meant everything got wet! |

Beautiful big room, loved the trendy design. Comfortable and luxurious. Had everything we needed. Location is in the heart of the city and I was very surprised how quiet the room was as the area is so busy! In all, we were very impressed with the hotel - only sorry we didn't get to taste the food in the restaurant, looked lovely. |

On the positive side, the room had a good view of the old port & harbor. The room and the bed were clean. I was impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. Specifically, someone came to see if our room was made properly, which we don't usually experience. Despite the good view of the harbor, we felt the room was over-priced. It can use a fresh coat of paint and better furnishing. An annoying thing for me was that there was no way to make coffee or tea in the room. This was the first time in the last 10-15 years I was in a hotel room that did not provide a coffee pot. Nor can one order room service coffee or breakfast. One has to go down to the restaurant to have a cup of coffee or tea. Also, the hotel did not have a business center or a functioning computer with internet access to check e-mails. |

location the bathroom did not work well, it smelled tobacco in the room. Very old accomodation (especially in bathroom), which were not renovated. Smell of restaurant closeby in the floors. |

Great location, directly on old port Not really what I would consider a four star hotel. Although the rooms are well designed, the hotel does not have the kind of lobby/ bar/ restaurant and other services would expect from this category. Also the non-smoking rooms have ashtrays and smell of smoke (I changed rooms once but the second room was the same). |

I found the location of the hotel excellent, as the trip to Marseille was a short escape trip from everyday life and gave me the opportunity to stay close to restaurants, bars and as well to see all different parts of the city. |

Best location - direct on the old port and central to shopping and all sightseeing possibilities. The room was relatively spacious and clean given the price. Not a palace, however, but good enough for 2 nights. The hotel smelled old. There was construction when we were there. |

Located in the famous district of the Old Port on La Canebière, in central Marseille, this hotel was entirely renovated in 2009. The rooms feature queen-size beds and flat-screen TVs. |
The fully-renovated hotel enjoys a privileged location in the city centre, in front of the Vieux-Port (Old Port). It features spacious and tastefully furnished rooms, with modern amenities. |
The 4-star hotel enjoys a priviliged location, facing the congress centre (Le Pharo), close to the Vieux-Port (Old Harbour) and the city centre. |
Located in the heart of Marseille opposite the Old Port, the Grand Hotel Beauvau is refined, elegant and provides an authentic setting. |
