Didnt answer good any of my requests about excursions in Marseille, Avignon, Aix an Provence et Cassis, and they offer me a taxi for almost 400 euros to go to Avignon.................... The train cost only 20 euros..........................................and a taxi there to the Pope´s Palace 20 euros go and return from the train station.

Reception staff not very freindly,was told toiletries ll not got replaced after day 1, though on booking it said that toiletries are free.

Nicely located, staff helpful, near all activities and city centre, room was very quiet.

Very bad cigarette smell in the room, room was not very clean and needed changeover, safe had been forced.

Perfect location, just beside the harbour and many restaurants around there. The traffic of metro and bus are very convenient. The WiFi connection is very well.

Room was spacious for a renovated 19th century building making the stay more pleasant. Also nice to have a view of the Harbour.

We basically were in Marseille for one evening and part of the next day. The hotel was easy to find, staff was good, accommodation was good, and it was close to some fine restaurants.

Alquilamos una habitaciòn doble superior y la que nos asignaron era muy pequeña, parecìa una acomodaciòn para una persona y no para dos. Solicitamos el cambio y nos dieron otra habitaciòn màs espaciosa, la cama era mas grande y el baño tambien.

Excellent location facing the vieux port. Metro around the corner. Many restaurants, shops and bars within a 2 minute walk. Comfortable rooms, not too cramped.

Not the hotels fault but lots of ongoing construction noise all throughout the day and night.

The location was very good - right on the Old Port of Marseille. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance - also a rather blatant red-light area, though of course we are in Marseille ! We walked from the hotel to a very nice restaurant I had read about, and had a night-cap afterwards a stone's throw from the hotel. The view from the room was always interesting.

It was slightly unfortunate that there are on-going road works in order to pedestrianise the area outside the hotel which made access to it slightly difficult, although this should all be finished by the end of the year, in time for MP 2013 (Marseille-Provence European City of Culture 2013). I should also add that our hotel room was on the third floor, had windows with re-inforced double-glazing, and noise was not a problem at all. Staff could have been a bit more welcoming, and a little less like what a friend calls 'hotel-people' !

Very good sized rooms in good condition, excellent location.

Everything fine. If only the window with the view was lower so it could be appreciated while sitting.

The fact that the port is undergoing reconstruction and the whole place is covered in rubble, dust and is extremely noisy from very early in the morning.

Good location. Some reception staff were very helpful.

Very basic. The room appeared clean but on closer inspection it wasn't. My husband placed a bath robe on the floor because it was dirty only to find that the cleaner had picked it up and placed it back on the hanger. We asked to see the manager on the morning of our departure but he was unavailable. The complaint was recorded by the receptionist. The hotel had a very musty smell in the corridor.

Great location on the Old Port. Beautiful large room and bathroom.

Disappointing that the restuarant was closed. However there were plenty of great restuarants on the far side of the port.

Tea and coff machine in room would have been welcome

Close to harbor / shopping / bus and boar cruise from harbor. Bus 60 to the church on the hill Notre Dame De La Garde, and 83 for the beach.
