The hotel was chosen for its proximity to the Eiffel Tower - fantastic view c 300 m away from north-facing room with large balcony, with an uninterupted view to the city across the river from the almost entirely glass balcony wall of the room. It was a very good size room. The staff were helpful, spoke good English and room service was very prompt. We were already aware that it had originally been the Hilton Hotel due to undergo some modernisation. The reception / public and dining areas had clearly been refurbished. The design, decor and furnishing of the room harked back to a previous era of some elegance but we found this to be quite charming and memorable, giving it a different look and feel from other standard modern hotel rooms.

Service was fantastic, they really made a big effort to try to help with all our issues. The breakfast was great. The rooms where large and just what I wanted. Ok, the tv was old but i'm not in Paris to watch tv :-) And the view was fantastic when you could see the eiffel tower. It is nice to talk on skype and then just move the camera outside the window, my friends liked what they saw :-) When I read the comments I really thought it would be in terrible shape (someone said crackhouse). I dont know where those people buy their crack but it was not that bad. Ok, the corridors would need some shapeup but the rooms where in good shape and it overall looked nice. One bad thing we had was that we had a bad smell in our toilett but they took care of it every time we called the reception. Other things that would be nice to have is sauna and pool but I managed without it

The worst hotel I have ever seen, it really out of my expectation, When I open the door I was like oh my god, I paid for this price the hotel room shouldn't be like this, it really like some worse hote; in China, the only thing I do think is good for this hotel is the location. Apart from the location, I can't think of anything which is good to this hotel.

the location of this hotel made our stay a fantastic experience.. there is one thing that i think you ought to be aware of though.. i am not not sure if you have assigned taxi drivers for the hotel but we were picked up yesterday by a cambodian driver that was registered.... he was very odd and made myself and my daughter feel very uncomfortable, to the point that i wanted to stop the cab and get out. this man should not be driving a taxi and if you are aware of who he is i would recommend that you don't allow him to pick up from your hotel again.Aside from this a totally wonderful stay :)

When I arrived the room was ready, but the shower faucet was broken. They did fix it within the hour though. Seemed out dated and entrance lobby is in need of repair

We stayed at this Hotel many times when it was a Hilton and now as a Pullman. It is in a wonderful area and neighborhood near the Tour Eiffel. It is very comfortable and we love the rooms with the balcony and view of the the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood is convenient for very reasonable cafes and boulangeries and markets which make it very much like experiencing the city like the French do. They are also much less expensive than in the more touristy areas. The rooms are comfortable and nice. The hotel needs to be redone particularly in the hallways and public areas.

Like the idea of seeing the Eiffel tower from your bed!! The view from the balcony is magnificent. Children playing games on the computers in the Business centre when adults were waiting to use them. They were in no hurry to go and completly ignored the adults standing there waiting. Maybe have another area for the young ones to use computers for games only.

Location was excellent. Since we wanted to live near eiffel tower, so this was the best option. They should have offered breakfast with the cost they charged for the room.

Location was great, there are two stations closed by and you can get anywhere from it. The balcony view is absolutely worth it specially at night. There is a restaurant on the corner called ribe that's very friendly and better value than the hotel. Expensive... The hotel really needs renovation. The rooms isn't bad at all, large bathroom, good sized bedroom, some people complained about the tv but its not a big deal, as you don't go to Paris to watch tv. The main renovation I would say is in the halls but that's it.

The staff were so helpful and pleasant-from the lovely door man to the breakfast restaurant staff. The view of the tower from the hotel was amazing,I only wish I'd been given a room at the front. The choice of food at Breakfast was also outstanding with the "Omelette bar"! The Resturant/room service menu was very poor.It was complicated and fussy.I arrived late wanting some french simple classic food- steak and frites with a classic green salad, chevre grill etc.It was too wordy and trying too hard to keep mentioning the bees and the honey!!Thats a nice point but too much on the menu! The hallways upstairs looked a little tired-but thats a very small point.

The location was Priceless. Room Service staff were fast on delivry. The hotel reception staff were very very very rude and not helpful at all. We felt like they are paying for us to stay at the hotel not the way around. No manners while speaking, very loud and they yell at you if you said something wrong.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
