The hotel is really well situated - very handy for the train station, and close to the city centre. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

The street outside can be very noisy. The rooms were small.

Good location with easy parking. The hotel front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Weird carpet going on in the room.

Seems to be run by one nice man. A very old building, but with some upgrades (bathrooms). WiFi worked fine, location great.

Steep old stairs with torn carpet. Breakfast traditional French pastry and coffee is best skipped.

Concierge was lovely and friendly, hotel in excellent location and lots of French character. Great for younger folk, think as we get older we just want a little more comfort. Good basic breakfast.

Very friendly owner, more than happy to help. Great location and rooms clean. Wifi throughout even right on the top floor where we stayed. Would definitely stay again.

Bed linen wasnt changed in our 3 night stay and all facilities are very dated. Odd little shower cubicles but shower was good.

You get what you pay for. If you are picky you can say: the beds are really small and even a smaller bathroom, (but for us that was part of the charm).

The hotel is very well located, close to the train station and Reims' main street. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation is adequate but perhaps a little basic, especially the bathroom - it's there and it's clean, but it's not flash!

We found the location ideal for the German market and car parking. Very clean and friendly. Room was suitable for a party of 4 adults with 1 bunk and 1 d/bed.

Very shabby!! Old uncomfortable beds. Noisy ! Unsafe steps and shaky stairwell. Drapes are sheer and dirty. Web site and past reviews are not accurate. Could not get breakfast because they ran out of food. It is really a one star hotel and the star is for location. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Hotel owner is very nice but hotel needs complete remodel .

Our room was very tiny, but quaint and clean. It had a lot of character. The location was good, although we had to pay $20 to park in a public parking area across the street. Breakfast was good and the manager was very friendly and English. We would book here again if we are ever in Reims again.

The owner was very friendly & extremely helpful. Asked us if we needed WiFi Access & gave us the code immediately on our arrival. The room, although small & a bit difficult to move around was spotless. The location is fantastic as well, if one needs to visit Reims. Shopping is close by as well as the SNCF if one comes on the train. The breakfast, served by the owner himself, was just right. Selection of Tea, Coffee or Chocolate accompanied by fresh Croissant & Baguettes. Nothing went to waste & everything was fresh. Was even given a lovely Souvenir Key Ring in the shape of a Champagne Cork by the owner, upon leaving. Absolutely gorgeous little hotel with a wonderful atmosphere.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was all worth it for the price. The owner, himself, is a wonderful Jack of all Trades. He multi-tasks beautifully, thus avoiding un-necessary expense in employing people to do odd jobs. It was perfect.

Very friendly man at the reception, who recommended us to visit a wonderful light show at the parvise of the cathedral and a nice restaurant where I tried a pigeon. Location near the train station and not far from the cathedral. Quiet. Ok for one night.

The best things about the hotel were the price and the location. The rooms were small but clean, the breakfast was a typical French: coffee, juice, bread, and the owner could not have been helpful. He directed me what to see in the city, where to eat, and what champagne cave to visit. They were all prefect, I had a great time. Just remember that you are getting what you are paying for. This is not at the top of hotels, but the extras make up for it.
