Location isn`t everything. Even in booking.com you`ll find a large number of better offers in the vicinities than this unpleasent Best Western. This is a 8 floor building overdivided in order to acomodate as many people as possible. Hence, theres a overcrowded feel to it, and the overworked staff are somewhat stressed and not very helpful. The room was very small and the bathroom lilliputian. The towels in the bathroom had a funny oily smell to then. The luggage depot door was open most of the time without any real surveillance. I got in and out to collect my lugagge without being noticed by the clerk. As for the free wi-fi, that would have been a nice touch, only if it worked. |

good location but very hard to find. There are four Best Westerns in the Latin Quarter and the other ones didn't know where this one was. The sign outside does not say Best Western. The girl at the front desk checked me in and gave me the key to a room that had people in it. It was horrible. I opened the door and there were people in their beds. She was very unfriendly. There was no type of carrier for luggage and I had to lug my own luggage up and down and up and down to the elevator which was very small. |

Staff are helpful and friendly. The room's tiny and the room they picked for me face a backyard and the windows of other rooms. They claimed it's based on my request of a quiet room... |

The worst Best Western ever. Room 351 is old, smell old, the wall are dirty, the bed need to be changed and the price is way to high. The rate for this should be a 2 stars hotel and 65 € per night. Don't go there |

Comfy room, lovely decor in rooms and in the reception, a great mix of mod cons and an old fashion charm to the rooms- flatscreen tvs, safety box, free wifi (fantastic!!). I liked the space in the room and the bathroom is a well sized too. The staff are multilingual, very friendly and on hand at reception 24 hours. Best of all, this hotel is fantastically central- Saint Germain. The twin beds were right next to each other- it would be nice having some space, but that's not much of a complaint! |

Fantastic location, good rate. Staff very friendly to English speakers. It's a tiny quibble; the in-room wifi would drop fairly often but came right back. Worked great the 98% of the time it was on. |

Staff was nice and they gave us a room with the view of Eiffer Tower. Bathroom was larger than expected. Our room was clean but small. Thought it was overpriced, especially since breakfast is extra. Elevator was extremely small so it required 2 trips up. Each with 1 person and 1 piece of luggage. We were on the highest floor and the elevator only went up to the floor below. That is why we try to pack light when traveling! |

The location is perfect for arrival by metro (Luxembourg stop, maybe 300 meter from the Hotel). Location almost directly at Boulevard St Michel, straight across Place de la Sorbonne and 2 steps away from the Jardin de Luxembourg makes it a perfect starting point for a Paris city trip! Came here before and will come again. Staff was friendly and correct. Since we stayed in the hotel some 7 years ago it was clearly refurbished, still the bathrooms (and the rooms) are on the small side but then again everything is present even a bath (not in all rooms by the way). Wardrobe in the room could also be (a bit) larger. Only noticed to late that there are tea and coffee making facilities available for the room, but you should ask the front desk. |

The hotel location is very convieniently placed for those wishing to stay in the Latin Quarter. The rooms are a reasonable size for Paris, although in a general sense rooms in Paris are small. The staff are helpful. I booked a few days before and it was considerably cheaper than other hotels in the area I've stayed at before and if the price is good I would be sure to recommend it. |

That the room was changed without fuss, without extra charge, upon request, as the first one was too noisy. Great location. Staff were very nice and helpful. |

perfect location, near to the most charming attractions in Paris. I asked 3 times to change my room. The rooms are different from the photos in the website or to better say, reception staff tend to give poor quality rooms (old fashioned, noisy, too small). |

I had to change 3 rooms because of the non functional tv or telephone. Still, when I chose the room I thought was appropriate, the telephone stopped working and therefore the wake-up call service became non operational. So, the receptionist had to come up and knock at my door to wake me up. |

Excellent location, very friendly staff, old-fashioned charm of the interior, comfortable beds. There should be tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast rather expensive, especially in view of the fact that one can have a very good breakfast in the vicinity of the hotel for half the price, or less. |
