Localization is good.
Hotel has an old structure, it would not be a problem at all if it was not for the tiny elevators (1 person + suitcase) and the fact that we were given a bedroom on the 7th floor, but we had to get off the elevator on the 6th floor and go upstairs with our heavy suitcases and a child. No one from the reception went upstairs to offer any help. The worst wifi ever, lost connection all the time. Heating system did not work in bedroom! we were given a portable heater on the 2nd day after requesting for repairing the heater. Noises coming from all around, from other bedrooms and it was hard to sleep. Look for somewhere else in Paris to stay.
Staff was very friendly and punctual. Location was good, hotel also.
Just about everything.
Poor quality room service food. Worst I have had anywhere really.
Staff were helpful, friendly and let my daughter practice her french Room was comfortable and well decorated. Bathroom very clean and good shower. excellent location for walking to main attractions and jsut soaking up the atmosphere of the area.
We were next to the service lift which was a little noisy at night. The main lift is very tiny - not an issue for us as we took the stairs, but if you had to use the lift, it could be snug
top floor nice view
Quiet, wifi was good
Staff weren't too friendly Cleaners entered without knocking whilst I was showering luckily I wasn't traveling alone. Poor room lighting
Loved the location. The room was small but I didn't expect it to be otherwise. Reception staff were very helpful.
A bit noisy at nights but in the centre of Paris that's to be expected.
View from our 7th floor room.
Teeny elevator and two flights of steps to get to the room.
Style of hotel
Noise from road outside. Noise from other rooms.
The reception staff were extremely helpful especially Jasmine.
The bathroom was very, very small. Hardly any space to move around. Expected something better for breakfast for the amount of money spent.
Location is good Breakfast was good value Good arrangement for shuttle bus service to CDG
WIFI was very poor Value for money rated fair as the place needs a bit of a face lift. Lift is small and slow Room is small and crowded
Location was good hotel staff friendly .
We stayed in room 204 which is very dated . I did not complain at the time for various reasons but the room was smelly from damp, which the air condition unit was dripping on the carpet. When having a shower the floor would get flooded because there was not enough of a shower screen. Would have been nice to have a bar at night for a drink.
Very good and comfortable bed, friendly staff, good location.
Small room, tired facilities, slow wifi, a little bit poor breakfast.
Close to everything, including restaurants and cafés, and several attractions.
Shower was blocked up and very small.
Room size very small. Bathroom tiny. Bed was too small for two adults and not comfortable. Definitely not a four star hotel.
Location Decor Breakfast Value
Nothing - all good
Furnishings, location, helpful staff. Iron lift! Newspapers, etc. nice atmosphere.
Staff was very friendly and helpful except for ----------------------------
I asked for a wake up call and never got one.
Location this hotel is well situated for exploring the rive gauche and Latin quarter.
Despite booking bed and breakfast the hotel insisted that we had paid for the room only
Location was good. Easy to get around.
Not plush enough for a 4 star. Rooms are dated. Bath was OK. Towels not at all plush. Did not feel it was a good value.
Position was good and staff helpful with allowing early checkin. Breakfast was very good.
Location for walking access to Notre Dame, D'Orsay etc. Very quiet during the night despite having a room overlooking the street.
When booking we requested a room with a balcony. On arrival we asked if we had a room with a balcony which was confirmed. As we arrived very early we left our luggage without seeing the room. On returning later in the afternoon we found our room did have a door onto a roof area which was completely occupied by air conditioning units and certainly had no room to stand let alone sit on non existent furniture. The bathroom was a tiny area taken out of one corner of the room and the wardrobe was just a curtained area. When we queried the lack of balcony the receptionist said that we may have requested a balcony when booking with booking.com but the hotel took no notice of requests via them and that the room was a standard and there was never any option to have a balcony. It would have been polite if they had informed us at the time of booking, especially as it was on a non-refundable basis and booked months in advance. We finally changed rooms for a reasonable sized room with walk in wardrobe and bigger bathroom. Sadly the door handle on the inside of the bathroom was not actually attached to the door so we took it down to reception. By the time we got back later in the evening it had been re-attached and we could use the toilet again without being on full view to who ever else was in the room. A bonus at last! Reception staff varied from totally disinterested to very jolly depending on who was on at the time. Not a dreadful place but not an hotel I would recommend at the price for the accommodation offered.
Room was not too small for a Paris hotel (which are often tiny), and the wifi worked very well. There were 2 computers connected to a printer in the foyer freely accessible to clients (nice for printing boarding passes). Great location, nice area close to Jardin de Luxembourg, Notre Dame, lots of great restaurant and shops.
Very noisy within the hotel. My room was on the 1st floor right by the service lift and on the first day (a Friday) I was woken about 4.30 am by banging every few minutes. It seemed to go on for a couple of hours. The saturday and Sunday were better, but noise transmitted from adjacent bathrooms too. Aircon didn't work very well and room was rather gloomy, facing an internal well. If you are thinking of going there, I'd contact the hotel and specify a room on upper storey.
The hotel is just the perfect location for a romantic night in Paris
