This stylish hotel is between the Saint Germain and Montparnasse districts, just a 2-minute walk from Saint-Placide metro station.
Score from 812 reviews Good
Hôtel Albe Saint Michel is in a central location, in the heart of Paris’ Latin Quarter, by the Seine River. It is 5 minutes from Notre Dame Cathedral and the chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Score from 722 reviews Very good
In the lively Latin Quarter, this hotel offers elegant guest rooms equipped with a TV, some with a balcony. It is 120 yards from Cluny - La Sorbonne Metro and RER B Station.
Score from 933 reviews Very good

Super friendly staff, excellent location
Bathroom in need of some updating- but room was very comfortable otherwise
Location, Staff friendliness, Cleanliness of the rooms, authenticity of the room
Shower had no door/curtain so the water poured onto the floor. Beds were hard
The hotel was beautiful and central to lots, staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal woth
Location of the hotel is excellent unlike the quality and service. The building is badly in need of repair, it smells awful.
The rooms are really small, you can hear every sound from other rooms and the street. Breakfast selection is limited and always the same (it costs 16 euro by the way). The worst is the attitude of the staff. When the couple above had a noisy sex we complained and they lied to us there was no one living in that room. We had to go there ourselves. When the couple left next evening, they left a bed broken, and at 2.30 am someone started repairing it with a hammer. The staff did nothing to help us or correct the matter.
Strategical position Cosy room, very comfortable
Staff was very helpful and attentive. Excellent location and very safe neighborhood. Felt like home after a few days.
Top floor, bare minimum with slanting walls, but super romantic and a view of Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. Great location, walking distance to main sites.
Not for anyone, who does not appreciate rustic charm. Hotel is worn, but clean and functional.
Great location. Very central. Lovely looking dining room and lobby.
Very cold. Asked for ironing board and staff got it but no help given in taking it to the room! It was quite heavy. Tiny lift. Poor breakfast. Very small 'double' room. Only a double because of the bed but no room to move in room. No hooks in shower to hang things off. No complimentary water in room although should have been and none arrived despite me asking.
The location is good and the rooms are very comfortable.
The wifi signal didn't reach my room at the end of the hall so I had to sit in the lobby to access the internet. This was inconvenient as I was in Paris on business and needed to stay plugged in to things at home. How hard would it really be to boost the signal!
The hotel was very accessible and centrally located
The breakfast option wasn't encouraging. Buffet wasn't being replenished
everything about the hotel was exactly as described. very comfortable hotel and close to all the main sights and atractions
The color of the room' black and red.
Location all it has going for it, and location is average at best
Dirty room Filthy bathroom, old soaps left lying on floor.. "Complimentary" bottle of water in the room empty on arrival. Questioned this with staff was told to fill it up with water from the tap! Also a note on the bottle saying if we wished to purchase the glass bottle as a souvenir it would be €18!!!
Good central location to all tourist spots. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable rooms, lovely decor and very clean
The very small bathroom!
the cosiness of the room and the whole hotel. the warm colors in the rooms. The location near the Luxembourg, St. Michel, St Germain, Odeon, having the choice of 3 metros and one bus right next door direction Cité, Hotel d Ville, Marais.
the tiny bathroom.
Very very small room, can't call it hotel room, not acceptable by any means. Awful feedback from front that this is what we have if u bigger room, need to add money and get double room, couldn't walk straight inside room, really unacceptable
Although the hotel is rated a 4 stars, the first room we got given was miniscule for two people to the point it was claustrophobic to stay in there. There was hardly any light in the room and in the bathroom the shower was broken, there was no ventilation and practically not enough space to even lift your arms to wash your hair in the shower cubicle. After complaining we got moved to a bigger room however the temperature of the shower water couldn't be regulated, the bed linen was dirty and the heating also could not be regulated. I got the room in a package saying it was cheaper but i would warn others against this since you may be better off going in a cheaper and simpler hotel which may actually provide you with what they say will be available.
The view from our bedroom was amazing. Lovely view of the Eiffel Tower especially at night.
Room for 3 of us was very small & cramped. Should not really have been for 3! Considering the fairly recent refurbishment it was a little tired and not spotlessly clean. The lift up, which was not all the way was so small and still had stairs to climb. The kettle had to be put on the floor to boil as the lead wasn't long enough!
Localization is good.
Hotel has an old structure, it would not be a problem at all if it was not for the tiny elevators (1 person + suitcase) and the fact that we were given a bedroom on the 7th floor, but we had to get off the elevator on the 6th floor and go upstairs with our heavy suitcases and a child. No one from the reception went upstairs to offer any help. The worst wifi ever, lost connection all the time. Heating system did not work in bedroom! we were given a portable heater on the 2nd day after requesting for repairing the heater. Noises coming from all around, from other bedrooms and it was hard to sleep. Look for somewhere else in Paris to stay.
Staff was very friendly and punctual. Location was good, hotel also.
Just about everything.
Poor quality room service food. Worst I have had anywhere really.
Staff were helpful, friendly and let my daughter practice her french Room was comfortable and well decorated. Bathroom very clean and good shower. excellent location for walking to main attractions and jsut soaking up the atmosphere of the area.
We were next to the service lift which was a little noisy at night. The main lift is very tiny - not an issue for us as we took the stairs, but if you had to use the lift, it could be snug
top floor nice view
Quiet, wifi was good
Staff weren't too friendly Cleaners entered without knocking whilst I was showering luckily I wasn't traveling alone. Poor room lighting
