The room was beautiful with large windows. The service was horrible for what was paid for the room. We changed rooms and they said they would have our bags delivered to us. An hour and a half later we still did not have our bags. When I went to inquire about them, they rolled their eyes. If you are going to Paris, it is very wise to choose another hotel in downtown due to the difficulty of getting into the city through all the traffic. If you want to eat at the Gordon Ramsey restaurant, you must book 3 weeks in advance. They do not tell you this anywhere on the website when booking. It is not worth the money or the stay.

Really impressive 5* hotel. Phantastic location. Friendly staff. Please know you can rent bikes just around the corner and enjoy the gardens with it. Versailles is a great place to be. Very good restaurants and reasonable prices. To ask 39,- euro pp for a very simple breakfast (with smoked salmon as the only specialty) is not only stupid, it's a reason to avoid coming back.

Fabulous luxury hotel. We had a superb room in the main building which overlooked the park of the Petit Trianon, beautiful. The location couldn't have been better, we were able to walk to the main entrance of the Palace within 10 mins. As we'd travelled by car we needed parking of which there was plenty (at a cost). The hotel food/restaurant (not Gordon Ramsay's which was way out of our price range) was such a disappointment. As mentioned in previous reviews the service was beyond chaotic, the food was tepid and some of it never appeared (however it did appear on the bill)! It was also quite expensive.

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff, very clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. Room rates are reasonable, but extras and restaurant prices are excessive. Location is very convenient to the gardens at Versailles. Much larger rooms and more comfortable beds than are typical in Europe. We had a real king-size bed.

Loved the place and room, one of the best experiences in France ever!Imaculate personel, upgraded the room due to the offer made while checking in, stayed longer due to its unbelievable nice location as part of the Versaille Park.

Walls were thin...could hear doors closing, kids running in the halls etc. Concierge was rude. The Gordon Ramsey restaurant was not 2 star quality. Service was bad...too rushed, wanted to know food selections before served water... Anything. Told to eat my amuse bouche twice by an aggressive waiter. Servers were running into each other...wine was served unevenly white remained in bottle when red was served...red not served until After main course...didn't order red to go with dessert!! Just a real mess and the food was not good either!!

Excellent hotel, nice location close to the Versailles Palace and very friendly staff. We had a reservation for a Classic Room, but they gave us an upgrade so we slept in a suite with garden view. Couldn't be better our price/value experience. But, nevertheless, price is excellent for the quality you get! overpriced menu at the Veranda restaurant in the hotel, food wasn't worth the price we paid.

Good place, guess the children needs to be very well-behaved to go there since this is a place for relaxation. The only really negative thing was the staff attitude at the restaurant Le Veranda.

Comfortable rooms, but no view of Palace gardens as shown on site. View of hotel gardens. Some of the staff . Porter staff excellent. Overpriced. No in room Wi Fi. Cost 28 euro per day & only available in foyer area. Only hotel on our trip we had to pay for Wi Fi. For standard of hotel they need to update their electronics.

Excellent Location for a visit to Versailles. The hotel is modern, and of a high standard that you would expect from a Waldorf Hotel. The room was very well laid out, and clean The bathroom in the room was on the small side - not what I would have expected from a hotel of this standard. The bathroom also only had a bath tub with shower - there was no separate shower. This is a problem for an aging population, as it was some what risky in using it.

The hotel was perhaps the finest I have seen, on par with the Four Seasons. The Concierge staff - one in particular - was extremely congenial and helpful. Four different reservations produced four different lodging rates and the less expensive rooms had breakfast included. This created a problem internally for the group because the client's staff paid double for the room and did not have breakfast included!
