Very clean, large rooms, nice linens, excellent location next to Versallies. Pricey breakfast. Must pay for Internet access which is pricey as well.

Our room was in the conference annexe and was modern, spacious and scrupulously clean with a huge double bed. Excellent bathroom facilities - unusual shower controls though!! Staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. There is free valet parking which is useful being so close to the Palace. As a base to visit Versailles and the palace in particular, this hotel is superb. However, I would only use it as a base (see below). Eat and drink elsewhere as prices are very high. There is a Ramsay restaurant with the usual extortionate Ramsay prices and the cheaper (although still expensive) La Veranda restaurant was very disappointing. A full English breakfast for 2 will set you back the best part of €75. I have marked the hotel based on the accommodation facilities as these are very good and that is how I would use this hotel in the future.

I appreciated the surrounding garden, a quiet place to take a break away from daily fuss if you have little time. The interiors are there to please the eye. The Veranda restaurant staff does not seem very efficient, though they do bring you the tastiest treat in the end.

This is a magnificent hotel, which manages to combine pure luxury with a unique sense of comfort and homeliness. The staff are warm and welcomin withou being intrusive. Our room in the Palace was spacious and well appointed with comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities. Room was serviced muliple times a day. The Hotel setting is stunning and looks out of the Palace of Versailles farmland. The well supervised indoor heated pool was greatly appreciated. This Hotel is difficult to criticize. The booking.com site indicated that we would need to pay for parking. However, we were given valet parking and despite ou expectations and attmpts to pay, there was no charge. The buffet breakfast is a little expensive but is in keeping with the calibre of the hotel. There was some confusion for us as to what the continental breakfast includes. We assumed it included all cold foods and were a little surprised to be billed for full english breakfast after one of us added a slice of smoked salmon. On the 2nd morning, we learned that full english breakfast didnt include omelette. Guests need to establish what each breakfast includes as the Hotel doesn't make this clear. This is a very small criticism, which is outweighed by the many pros of this outstanding Hotel. It was a wonderful way to conclude our travels in Europe.

Ideal location for visiting Versailles, on the edge of the Park so lovely to walk in the grounds of the Hotel or the Chateau. 5-10 mins walk to the Market area which has lovely food and flowers. Very helpful and attentive staff. Large comfortable rooms, with a wide selection of TV Channels.

Luxurious accommodation with first class treatment by staff. We didn't want to leave the hotel! Great location, great service and my son enjoyed the pool. We will definitely stay here again- it was such a treat! Very close to the grounds of the Chateau Versailles. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was perfect- there was nothing we didn't like.

Walls were thin...could hear doors closing, kids running in the halls etc. Concierge was rude. The Gordon Ramsey restaurant was not 2 star quality. Service was bad...too rushed, wanted to know food selections before served water... Anything. Told to eat my amuse bouche twice by an aggressive waiter. Servers were running into each other...wine was served unevenly white remained in bottle when red was served...red not served until After main course...didn't order red to go with dessert!! Just a real mess and the food was not good either!!

Excellent Location for a visit to Versailles. The hotel is modern, and of a high standard that you would expect from a Waldorf Hotel. The room was very well laid out, and clean The bathroom in the room was on the small side - not what I would have expected from a hotel of this standard. The bathroom also only had a bath tub with shower - there was no separate shower. This is a problem for an aging population, as it was some what risky in using it.

Really impressive 5* hotel. Phantastic location. Friendly staff. Please know you can rent bikes just around the corner and enjoy the gardens with it. Versailles is a great place to be. Very good restaurants and reasonable prices. To ask 39,- euro pp for a very simple breakfast (with smoked salmon as the only specialty) is not only stupid, it's a reason to avoid coming back.

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff, very clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. Room rates are reasonable, but extras and restaurant prices are excessive. Location is very convenient to the gardens at Versailles. Much larger rooms and more comfortable beds than are typical in Europe. We had a real king-size bed.

The room was beautiful with large windows. The service was horrible for what was paid for the room. We changed rooms and they said they would have our bags delivered to us. An hour and a half later we still did not have our bags. When I went to inquire about them, they rolled their eyes. If you are going to Paris, it is very wise to choose another hotel in downtown due to the difficulty of getting into the city through all the traffic. If you want to eat at the Gordon Ramsey restaurant, you must book 3 weeks in advance. They do not tell you this anywhere on the website when booking. It is not worth the money or the stay.

Fabulous luxury hotel. We had a superb room in the main building which overlooked the park of the Petit Trianon, beautiful. The location couldn't have been better, we were able to walk to the main entrance of the Palace within 10 mins. As we'd travelled by car we needed parking of which there was plenty (at a cost). The hotel food/restaurant (not Gordon Ramsay's which was way out of our price range) was such a disappointment. As mentioned in previous reviews the service was beyond chaotic, the food was tepid and some of it never appeared (however it did appear on the bill)! It was also quite expensive.
