The hotel is in the perfect location to see the Palace and to go into the park to bike or run. We had a wonderful time in Versailles.
Only had 1 night but coyjd have stayed longer. Was great location by the gardens. I loved our room in the pavilion to it was very spacious.
My only criticism would be the service in the veranda restaurant on Sunday night was very slow. Almost exited and hour from our booking of 9 to have our starter.
of course the location so close to the Palace and the gardens, but also the good service and relaxed atmosphere.
all the extra's, including food & beverage, were quite expensive
service made you feel really special. very grand entrance, location, facilities
Lovely spacious room.comfy bed and dressing gowns.pure luxury.
We got woken up by the gardener!
The impressive point with this hotel is it's location which almost next to one of the park gates and from there it is a pleasant stroll to the palace. We stayed in the Pavilion, which is quiet and calm. The Gordon Ramsay Restaurant was closed for the summer break, but the main restaurant served excellent food that was value for money. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast on the Sunday was busy, so you need to get up early if you like peace and quiet.
QUALITY OF THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD
THE COST OF DRINKS AND FOOD, WE FOUND VERY EXPENSIVE
fabulous location opulant surroundings staff very helpful
paid for garden view room - needed to stand on the coffee table to hang out of window to glimpse the view.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, with wonderful on site facilities, especially the pool and terrace. On site parking was a real bonus for us, and essential as we were stopping off to visit Paris on our drive south. The valet staff were excellent - super attention to customer service. Rooms fantastic - large and very comfortable.
Not much - all in all an excellent stay. I would say that while the facilities were definitely 4 star, I am not sure that their customer service warrants it. It was nothing special and we have had better at less "exclusive" chains, with more costumer centred attention.
The hotel is in a very good condition, close to the gardens.
The restaurant is very expensive and food is not worth the money. The room was not cleaned well.
Location, restaurant, breakfast
Staff at the restaurant and bar should be more professional. Twice we get a bill with an exrta drinks on it (€36 and €12 too much), so, please, check your bill before you pay !
The room and the swimming pool is lovely
Location Parking Spa and massage
No jacuzzi in spa Lack of ability to use Gordon Ramsey restaurant Limited snack menu
The staff so loved ,their service and very fast design classic beautiful hotel rooms are large and comfortable
There are some spiders in bedrooms . Prices breakfast exaggerated .

Location is perfect Building is beautiful If you have the cash stay in the main hotel building. However, more modern block is perfectly comfortable and not "slumming it" by any means. Really great setting and a fabulous break. Hope to return
restaurants and bars are expensive Some waiting staff a tiny bit snooty Housekeeping and reception staff very helpful
the room, the breakfast, the view on teh palace of Versailles, the wonderful facilities and area, the quality of the food at the restaurant, the staff friendliness.
The staff could have been a bit more professionnal sometimes, especially the restaurant's waiters, but overall, everything went very well
The whole experience was lovely and perfect for the historic parts of Versailles. Loved the walk through in the main building
many of the bedrooms were in the 2nd building inc ours.. Unfortunately this is sub standard to the main building and not in the same league
Everything we enjoyed our stay staff all very nice and helpful, very clean, good food. very peaceful and relaxing.
Only had 2 nights there. Wish we could have stayed longer
Excellent location and great food. Staff were very nice and helpful. Very relaxing and spacious rooms it is calm place.
No playground for kids in the beautiful garden of the hotel.
Lovely corner room with view of Versailles paddocks and animals
Children not allowed into pool after 7pm- how ridiculous and old fashioned. Limited menu on terrace
Property, staff was pleasant, clean. Close to chateau and property.
Shower did not work properly. No wifi, AC did not work well, food way over priced for the quality. Slow service on patio.
The hotel is beautiful in the middle of a very nice garden. The building has high ceilings and is very well decorated with modern furniture that matches perfectly with the 19th century stile. It has a twist of glamour yet, very cosy. You walk to Chateau de Versailles, both to the building entrance and to the gardens. The room we stayed was spacious with a nice bathroom. It is super calm and the bed is extremely comfy. the baby bad must have been comfortable too as our daughter never woke up during the night! The staff was very helpful with directions, information on the surroundings and villages to visit (we had a car). All restaurants they recommended were good. They also helped straight away when internet was not working on our phones. It was super easy to enjoy the swimming pool with our 15 months daughter. At the Veranda restaurant, they managed to give us the table at the very corner so the baby phone would work and we could have a nice dinner while our baby was sleeping two floors above. The spa was great - of course, expensive when you compare to Asia - but the staff there was also very kind. There are only three small elevators but they worked perfectly. Very often we chose to climb the stairs as it felt like being in a chateau.
The hairdryer was cheap and so weak! For a hotel like this, they could invest on better appliances for the rooms. I never managed to change the temperature in the air-conditioning control but it worked and our room was always in a nice temperature. Maybe it was centrally set, I don't know. The restaurants are expensive but it is worth it except the café where the choices were very limited and expensive. I think there were six or seven dishes only that you could chose from. The breakfast could be more varied. When you are in such a nice decor, you expect more than a table with 4 juices, a table with some bread, 4 choices of fruit and a fridge with yogurt. They had somebody preparing eggs and pancakes, though which were delicious. However, all this small details do not take away the magic of the place. We had some wonderful days at the Trianon, visited amazing castles and ate like kings. We would go back at any time!
Rooms were large, comfortable and superbly appointed. Pool, gym and spa were excellent. Restaurant food and wines very good.
The overall comfort and ambience of the hotel made the high priced breakfast and bar drinks, and slow, grumpy service in the patio more bearable!
