Trianon Palace Versailles, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel    

Loved the location, especially being at the back entrance to the Palace of Versailles. Concierge and staff absolutely excellent

They did not tell us that they would block our credit card for EUR 800 which I think they are not allowed to do. This caused an inordinate amount of problems as we could not see why the card would not authorise elsewhere. Also it would be good if the pool area had a jacuzzi

This the second time I have stayed at the Trianon. It was very comfortable excellent service and excellent food in beautiful surroundings. Thank you

Fabulous hotel excellent location for visiting Versailles Palace.

Unfortunately the unbelieveably high charges for Wi-Fi and a very limited supply of tea, coffee,milk and no hot chocolate drink (only enough of each for one drink) in the room, let this lovely hotel down. Also the alarm clock went off at 6am on our first morning, we did not expect to have to check clock settings before going to bed at night! These little things matter so we will not be staying again.

The beauty of the surroundings, the kindness of the staff, The luxury of the hotel,not ostentatious and the swimming pool and spa. The sGuerlain staff was the best ever (Thank you Elise from Clermont Ferrand!) The breakfast was incredible though pricey

The restaurant La véranda(overpiced and my entrée wasn't cooked). No refund nor discount proposed. A bit of a walk from the rer station and town if on foot

Every single extra cost a fortune. It's ridiculous. Wifi:£25 a day, Breakfast:£30 per person, Parking £20 a night, local phone call £1 a minute, Cup of tea: £10. That is extortion. For that reason, I'm not going back.

Did I reserve and paid with my resevatuon? Because the hotel take mobey a second time. Is it a mistake or is it correct . Tancks for your anwqer.

The basic rooms that we could justify were very good size and very comfortable - nice bathroom , bed etc- pick up the top end vibe with the ultimate leasurely breakfast in the dining room -38 euro but enjoy.

Could hear anyone going down corridor and opening of other doors etc annoying during the night-this wing has a clear disconnection from the main flash part of the hotel- no free wifi - crazy 25 euro a day if you need it , essential parking underneath also an unreasonable 30 euro a night

I booked a deluxe room (30m2), I had a room on the last floor that was much smaller. I didn't receive any welcome amenity. I felt like beeing a 2nd class client by bookinck threw booking.com!!!

Location is exceptional. Employes and staff were friendly even if they are not always competent... Decoration, and general atmosphere were very good.

Service was not at the level expected for this type of Hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the accommodations were very nice. We were upgraded (off season maybe?), and the room was excellent. Nice size, with both nice shower and bath. Sauna, steam room, and pool were also very nice and breakfast was excellent. I don't remember if the hotel was 4 or 5 star but it was a first class hotel, and a step above what I'm usually willing to pay for!

It is located literally on the garden grounds of Versailles, but it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Palace. Not a big deal, just fyi. WiFi is 25 euro, and we were traveling with a dog and that was an extra 50 euro charge that we were only notified of (amount) after we made reservations. However, they did bring a water bowl and food dish, and a bed for the dog which he loved! My dog's opinion is that the 50 euro was worth the bed, but for me it's a little too much. Like 25 euro for wifi.

The hotel was magnificient and the Gordon Ramsay restaurant served a meal out of this world. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive

We booked last minute and was a little out of our price range of what we wanted to spend but still got a good deal. The room was very nice and very comforatble bed and very big, clean bathroom and room.

The staff were wonderful. The restaurant staff at breakfast, not the best time of day, were charming and helpful. The barman was a real ambassador for the hotel and the bar snacks such as the Tapas (their very delicious version), well prepared and presented. The hotel is in a lovely spot and is lovingly maintained. It looks exactly like the pictures on booking.com. No camera tricks making the hotel better than it was.

Two things and both to do with food. Firstly When I tried to book the Michelin restaurant by phone from London, the restaurant booking system was not working. I was asked to call back. When I phoned again several hours later (as requested) it was still not working. I asked if they would phone me when their system was back on line. The person I was speaking to found my request unreasonable and told me so. The booking was never made and I did not eat there perhaps Mr Ramsay should spend a little more time sorting out his own restaurants problems. Secondly we went to the Opera at Versailles which started at 8.00pm and finished just before midnight. Both Hotel restaurants start at 7.00pm and are closed before midnight. This did not seem like a problem as the Hotel had room service, and a hotel that has two restaurants one of which is in the Michelin guide must have wonderful room service. This Hotel has one of the smallest room service menus I have ever seen, and at ten minutes past midnight it had run out of club sandwiches the only sandwich they offer! We were told by an embarrassed waiter that 'The chef has not left me any sandwiches Monsieur. I am sorry'. Not what we expected.

It had a great location and the amenities were fabulous. The staff was very helpful especially helping us navigate our visit to Versailles. The breakfast was delightful.

A big expensive impersonal multiple hotel chain with the clout to get a great location with the usual predictable amenities.

Great luxury hotel with walking access to the palace grounds. The Gordon Ramsay Restaurant was superb.

Brilliant location - a few yards from the Quenn's Gate into the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. The main hotel and the Pavillion are built in typical Trianon style in keeping with the Palace of Versailles.The staff were excellent always available and friendly. We staye din the Pavillion where the spa facilities are. There is an underground walkway connecting the building to the main hotel where the restaurants are.The room was a good quality of 4-star comfort, spacious and well furnished. Choice of two restaurants for dinner. Amazing breakfast, English and Continental. Tip: if you are intending to visit the Palace wait until late afternoon when the coach parties have left. We had to queue for over an hour to buy tickets and then another 45 minutes in another queue to get into the Palace.

Pricey and very busy. We stayed in many hotels in the last few weeks where WiFi was available and was free. The cheapest package available at the Trianon Palace was 25 euros. There is a menu available in the Gordon Ramsey restaurant from 195 euros, but we had an excellent meal in the Veranda Restaurant for much less. It is a very busy hotel, with long queues at reception during peak periods. When we arrived a conference had just finished and the car park was chaotic. If money is no object and you want to visit the Palace then this will suit you fine.

Wifi extremely expensive! We have sayed in many hotels with free wifi - surely this is a standard service in this day and age? Pool area smelled badly of blocked drains.

it was the perfect location for our trip to see the Palace of Versailles. Especially that we could leave our car parked at the hotel and walk through the palace gates. The hotel interior and grounds were beautiful. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

Your staff, their attitude, the location and the facilities, all were absolutely fantastic. The location and range and quality of activities and the staff, the staff were absolutely outstanding.

No free Wi Fi, whose brilliant idea was this? I am sure that most travellers only want to access and send a few emails. Maybe you could arrange tickets to the Palace as part of a package to help you guests access a national treasure as part of their stay.
