location and reception
room was dusty especially behind bedside tables. Cleaner accused us of smoking in the room which was not true, then kept filling the room with air freshner. Mattress old and room small, especially bathroom.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Superb facilities. Close to many restaurants and the train station
Location, cleanliness, friendly staff and great price.
No proper shower.
very very nice staff near train station and tram stop
Clean rooms. Quiet and soundproof. Great staff.
Location was 15-20 min walk from bars/beach
in city centre, nevertheless quiet near trains, tram and busses helpfull staff
noisy neighbours upstairs
I don't think the breakfast was worth 8 euros per day. It would be better if had fruit and a cereal that was not full of suger
Close to the Nice Ville rail station, not far from the Cote d'Azure. Staff are friendly.
The hairdryer was not working -- but the helpful staff gave me another one, so it was fine in general.
Size of room was excellent - sloping roof bandaged heads. Friendliness and helpfulness of and genuine interest from staff!! Location was excellent!
No free wifi - not a major drama as many of the local cafes have free wifi
an unpleasant stay due to the ridiculously thin wall between the hotel room and the residential apartment next door where a party was taking place. we may as well have had an invite as we could clearly hear the conversations & music that went on all night!
Close to train station, close to main shopping area, lots of restaurant choices. Quiet, given the location. Excellent helpful and friendly staff (speak English well).
No tea/coffee making facilities in room
Hotel smelt strange. We arrived and were asked to pay upfront which we did and immediately afterwards the reception informed us that due to circumstances there would be no breakfast facilities available during our stay. I found it incredible that with email the hotel had not informed us. Our room was on the 5th floor under the roof. With only two pillows and a very thin cover the comfort of the bed was too basic and despite asking for extra pillows we didn't get them until the following day after asking again. The ceiling sloped so much couldn't get into bed unless crouching and I banged my head getting up in the night. It was cold so had to wear clothes. No heating in bathroom and the sink tap poured over top if it wasn't full on. Towels etc were all threadbare... when coming back after dinner on last evening the night staff was preparing a breakfast room. He said good evening and went on his way. I went on to find him and then asked if bfast would be available the next morning. He said yes so he added our booking to his list. When asked why we hadn't been informed he said they had only just found out! Breakfast was very basic. I would not return to this hotel.
Staff is very nice. Bathroom cleanliness and bedding were great.
Baseboards of the doors were just unpainted bare wood planks. Air conditioning remotes are oddly guarded and require some deposit.
The hotels location is excellent and the rooms are clean and spacey. The stuff was very friendly and helpful making us fill very welcome. The hotel has a great value for money ratio and I would definitely recommend it, and would stay there again if I come to Nice.
The wifi connection was a bit unstable (4th floor).
The hotel was very close to the train station which was convenient, plus there were many food places around. The room was large and the bathroom spacious
The room was large but smelt like wet dog which we couldn't help but notice as soon as we walked in. We decided to pay €8 each for breakfast the first morning but it was poor value and overrated
Wifi was terrible. We are in the 21 century, good internet connection in all areas of a building should be a priority
Olivier was very helpful and welcoming, other staff also friendly and helpful
Shower head wouldn't stay upright on its own
location is ideal for people who will go to the train station
the room is small
My room was cozy. I was on the top floor, so I had skylights. I guess this floor was essentially the attic, because the ceilings were slanted, which I liked. It does make parts of the room unusable, but the room was a good size, so it didn't matter. The best part to me was that it was less than a five minute walk from the train station.
We booked a quad room with 4 single beds for 3 females travelling together. Ended up with 2 x double beds
Reasonable price and friendly staff.
Very rough part of town and the room smelt badly.
I like the staff. they were very helpful especially the one young kid.. he also gave me hot water every evening although there were no kettle facilities in the room. He also gave us info on traveling from Nice. i also got a hairdryer from the front desk. We felt welcome there with all their pleasant smiles and greeting.
Loved the facilities, staff and location to the train station.
Firm pillows and perfect space for one but not for two, despite it being a double bed.
Close to the railway station and to the old city center.
The covers on the beds were very dirty, thaks for the clean bedding... Shower was so small, hard to get it. The place is outdated, on the other hand, it's only 50EUR. Still, after Booking.com reviews I expected something better quality. We asked for separate beds, got one double bed and some small bed aside. But I guess it's al about France :)
Very helpful & welcoming owner.
