TRYP Paris Blanche Fontaine Hotel  

While it's located in a convenient place with train station nearby, it's not so suitable for family as it is near a red light area. Certainly not suitable for kids to be out during the night.

We did not like the fact that we understood that we could cancel and had booked months in advance after a few days we tried to cancel but couldn't so we stayed unwillingly jwg

Comfortable and attractive. A/C worked very well. Kids liked the bunk beds. Ninth arrondissement was convenient to airport (why we chose it for our last night).

Close to Moulin Rouge, and even though quite close to a metro stop, you had to transfer several rimes to get to most locations. We were only there for one night before returning to airport or we wouldn't have chosen it. Breakfast is quite expensive--19 euros. I didn't look at what they offered because I didn't want to spend that much.

This hotel was fantastic. The whole family loved it. We even had a view of the Eiffel tower from our room and the kids were given a little souvenir of the monument. We were able to walk easily to the Sacre Couer and it is minutes from the Metro station. It was very clean, spacious and nicely tucked away from a very busy location. We were worried that it would not be a family friendly hotel given its location, but this is far from the truth. Brilliant!

Large, clean comfortable and well appointed family room in a good Paris location.

Some tea & coffee making facilities would be nice.

For a single room it had a good bathroom.

Staff were arrogant and not very helpful or friendly. Would not stay again.

Hotel was clean and tidy. We had booked two rooms - family and a twin. Unfortunately the twin was set up as a double and the persons had to be moved to another part of the hotel. That was a shame as they were family and had initially been given the room next door to us.

The area of town is not the greatest but it was handy to the Moulin Rouge

Hotel locates very close to metro.

I've put my 2 children in when I booked it online but when I checked in, it turned out that I had to pay for extra room. According to staff, the room we reserved can fit only 2 adults (but in reality there're plenty space in the room). Moreover, it obviously showed in the policy that children age under 5 years old can get extra cod. We had to wait for 2 hours with a lot of explaination from our side. It's midnight that we finally get into our reserved room and the extra room. I'd blame for the system, policy, and communication between the hotel and booking.com. Luckily the staff that help us that night, Mr. Mikou, was nice and trying to help us as much as he could.

Closeness to the city centre and metro was a big plus. The staff mostly spoke english and were very nice and helpful on most accounts.

The area was very noisy way past midnight even on weekdays, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The room given to us, didn't have a lock on the inside of the door and required a key to open the door which is a big hazard in an emergency. Also we were only given one key, meaning that if one person went out of the room the other person was either locked in or stayed there with an unlocked door. The services the hotel said they offer (pay-per-view etc) wasn't functioning and neither of the staff working knew how to get it to work.
