Nothing. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The carpeting was worn, furniture ols and worn Room smelled musty. Bare essentials at best. I was traveling with two children. The air conditioning unit was directly above the top bunk. My daughters could not sleep here for fear of hitting her head. We all slept on our clothes. My kids asked if we could sleep in chairs at the air port instead of staying here! We were extremely disappointed. We found out our room was on the sixth floor and the elevator only went to the 5th floor. We had alot of luggage as we had just completed a Mediterranean cruise. I was going to call you company before I received this E-mail to complain. O think the rating given on your web site was completely over rated. I was horrified by our room.the cab driver could not even find it. I would say it was located on an alley, not a street. I could go on and on about our disappointment. Thank you, Laura O'Rourke

Excellent breakfast and comfortable beds. Very quiet yet walking distance to town and tourist attractions. Ideal for families. The carpet seemed a bit worn and shower screen didn't stay in position but not a major problem.

This hotel is reasonably close to public transport and places of interest. A very short walk to the top of the street will reveal a view of the Eiffel Tower. A comfortable clean hotel with staff who were very friendly and helpful. Difficulty in settling our stay's bill. I wasn't able to pay the evening before (even though I was checking out about 5a.m.) due to 'computer being unable to process before midnight'. At check-out the amount being charged was much more than quoted via booking.com. In the end the correct amount was charged but I didn't need the hassle when my time was valuable as I had an international train to catch. There was no beverage-making facilities and my mother was charged 4 Euro for a staff member to make her a cup of tea from a tea bag.

This is our third time staying in Tryp de Saxe. Our family of 6 have used the family room and the triple rooms. On this stay, the staff was friendly as usually. We bought a room that included breakfast which was very convient. But because of the great location, we were very close to a market as well as other cafes. We always love parking our car and using the metro to get around Paris, but the neighborhood surrounding the hotel is nice to walk through as well. It is very close to the Rue Cler area with nice relatively inexpensive restaurants. My childrens' favorite part of staying here is seeing the Eiffel Tower every night before we go into the hotel for the evening...it is always magical!

Although basic and needed a bit of updating, it was a nice hotel and suited our needs. Quick response to requests - extra pillow required and leak in bathroom fixed promptly.

The location was in a safe area, walkable distance to the Eiffle Tower and close to the Segur metro which made it easy to get around. The rooms were big and the staff were helpful! Such a change from my last trip to Paris. I don`t usually do reviews but I thought seen as I used reviews to book a hotel I thought I should write one to help others. I really do recommend this hotel.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Nice clean room. Quiet but convenient location. Breakfast was reasonablely good. The wallpaer in a corner of a otherwise well decorated and pleasant room was coming upstuck, possibly due to damp

Personnel were friendly and helpful, the location suited our needs, parking was available (though I would like to be able to reserve it ;-( ), the room was great for a family - though having a seperate toilette would be better. The mattrass was good. It was quiet for Paris. The room desperately needed renovation - the carpet was filthy, wall paper was peeling off the walls with mold underneath, the bathtub was stained and the tiles dingy. The room smelled badly.

The parking facilities were the only reason why I've chosen this hotel, if you're lucky you can find a free spot. Silent neighbourhood and the location is very good as you're near to les invalides, musee Rodin, Tour Eiffel etc. Very expensive breakfast considering the quality The staff of the hotel was not very fluent in English nor French

The room was spacious and the area is quite. Reception service was very good. On the first day, I was disturbed by staff on several occassions. My room was not cleaned on the second day. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. Tv was small.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |

“The best part was the owners. I adore them. They immediately made us feel like family. They made sure we knew where to go, what to do, and most importantly how to get there!! The breakfast was so super, with homemade cakes, fruit, etc.. We loved it. They are the cutest couple ever!! The location PERFECT!! You can walk to the Eiffel Tower, in 10 minutes. You are not even 5 minutes from the river. The bus stop and metro are another 5 minutes in each direction. I would stay here whenever I go to Paris again. It was very hard to leave, as they made it feel like I was at home!!” Sally, Fpo |
