The Hotel was clean and for a hotel near the center of Paris, surprisingly spacious ( we had a room for 3 people), our daughter had a room to herself (access to the bathroom and toilet through it). It was warm (we stayed just before Christmas), and had individual room temperature control. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The Hotel has good access to the Metro and nearby there are many shops, eating places etc . We would definately stay there again.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Jewish quarter of Paris, very close to many individual shops and boutiques, a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, and several wonderful museums (Carnavalet, Victor Hugo, Cognac Jay, Picasso - currently closed for refurb). It is a convenient 5-10 minute walk from St. Paul métro station. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our (triple) room was not huge but cosy and clean, and an adequate size for an adult and 2 older children. It had 2 twin beds pushed close together, and then another fold-out bed in the entrance area of the room, next to the bathroom. I would be happy to stay there again. The bathroom was tired and a little outdated, with cracked tiles in places. It did seem quite expensive for what we got, but like London, hotel rooms don't come cheap in central Paris.

Close to Metro station and Notre Dame Cathedral. The room was amazingly small! Hardly any room to walk around the bed. The room was uncomfortably too hot (+25 degrees); the thermostat/heat regulator did not work; no air-conditioning to get the heat down; the staff suggested opening the windows to let in the -10 degree winter weather in to cool the room down, and offered a portable heater; bathroom heater was even hotter than the bedroom wall heater; this weas the same for both rooms the hotel offered. A shame the room was unbearably hot considering people in Europe were dying from the cold weather. I would not stay at this hotel again but would rather stay at a nearby hotel, and that was less expensive.

The best thing about Turenne Le Marais was the location. In the wonderful Marais district and very close to plenty of cafes, restaurants, bakeries. It is also within easy reach of all the main Parisian attractions. The Metro (St Paul) is just around the corner and I would also recommend the Number 96 bus, which will take you through to Ile De la Cite and straight across to the Latin Quarter and St Germaine Boulevard and then through to Montparnasse. The area around the hotel seems very safe to walk in and there is great shopping nearby also. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the breakfast good. I would recommend this hotel. Although it is not fancy, it is very comfortable. The sixth floor, which I stayed on, seemed to be the only floor which did not have sufficient lighting in the passage and on the stairs.

This hotel was just such a pleasure to stay at. Everything was renovated, clean and nicely designed. The Parisian wallpaper and the little balcony made it such an authentic stay. It was my first time in Paris and I instantly felt welcome and at home.

Close to Metro, restaurants and museums; reasonable, safe area, relatively clean, window for fresh air, in-suite hot water maker for coffee/tea Small room, room on noisy street (although window for air was good); shower curtain smelled so bad almost unusable, bathtub drain stop jammed.

The staff were all really nice to us. All spoke good English to assist our French. Hotel location was excellent for exploring the Marais and also for access to central Paris via Bastile or along Rue de Rivoli. Very nice restaurants in the area.

Location is excellent. Rooms are really tiny. Evevator has not been working for ages, and..... we had a room at the fifth floor. Moreover the key got demagnetized all the time, and it's not fun when you have five floors to do!
