Hotel U Frascone is set on the side of the most beautifully serene mountainside just south of Corte. (Only 15-20minutes easy drive to Corte) The decor of the entire place was obviously done very recently but was entirely sympathetic to the period of the old Hotel. Our room was a delight, full of soft furnishings I wanted to take home with me. The view from the huge French windows took in infinite ridges of mountains, deep valleys, made the more lovely by low lying mist in the mornings. A lovely, peaceful stay. A very attractive alternative to staying in Corte (although we did this for one night too.)

This was a beautiful room in a lovely hotel in the midst of the Corsican hills. Two nights was never going to be enough. We had chosen this hotel because of an entry in the good food guide for France. Unfortunately, no food other than breakfast was available and we had to walk for 10 minutes to eat at a restaurant in the village, as parking was almost impossible. On our first night we had to return during a thunderstorm and got absolutely soaked. Nevertheless, this is a really good hotel, especially if you have a room at the rear. The front part might be noisy.

Very nice family hotel, large room, very nice furnished, with own friendly atmosphere. Good place for trips to central Corsica, not far from Cascades Anglais. Hotel has no own restaurant, provide only breakfast (rich and good), and drinks and ice cream during the day. For eat you have to go to the only restaurant in Venaco - Central bar - better by car, eat is no bad, but much better is to order the dinner one day before on farm la ferme de peridundellu (tel. 04 95 47 09 89), 3 km down from hotel on route d143 - it´s a fixed menu (you can´t choose), but very good, rich, for a good price and on beautifull place - I recomend to try it.

La camera molto ben arredata; la colazione ricca e con prodotti locali. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. L'albergo è sulla strada statale, che però non è molto trafficata la notte.

Excellent hôtel pour passer une nuit sur la route qui mène de Bastia à Ajaccio. Le personnel est très sympathique, on se sent comme chez soi ! Un petit bémol, l'accés aux chambres se fait par des escaliers très raides qui ne conviennent pas trop aux rhumatismes ...!

L'accueil et la convivialité de tout le personnel de l'hôtel sont à mettre en avant . La vue depuis la terrasse (tout en prenant un très bon petit déjeuner) est remarquable et donne vraiment une belle impression de la corse intérieure . Une adresse à recommander et à diffuser (excellente literie) La proximité de la route même si les double vitrages sont efficaces .

Mooi, zeer verzorgd hotel met goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en vriendelijk personeel. Er is geen restaurant bij het hotel, en het aanbevolen restaurant in het dorp is minder aan te bevelen.

La gentillesse du personnel, l'accueil et l'aménagement des chambres fait avec beaucoup de goût. Etablissement que nous avions déjà fréquenté et où nous retournerons avec grand plaisir. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, quel bonheur !!! De ne pas pouvoir y rester plus longtemps, fin de vacances oblige...
