Score from 698 reviews Very good
Overpriced breakfast, secluded location, lack of charm.
Very characterful and staff extremely helpful. Good breakfast and delightful outside terrace for eating breakfast. Very quiet and the area was very quiet so a good nights sleep was hard. Also the area was a residential one and very safe to walk around at night.
No wardrobe in the room and no chest of drawers or drawers of any kind. Had to change rooms to a larger one as it would have been impossible for a 5 night stay. Only a small recessed area in the wall behind a small curtain with a few hangers and two high shelves, one we couldn't reach. We had to keep both suitcases on a spare bed in the room with most of our clothes in. No laundry service which was a disappointment.
Quiet location within reach of historic centre; particularly helpful and friendly staff; excellent breakfast; comfortable room with garden view; provision of kettle.
Clothes storage a bit limited; bed on the firm side; why no waste basket in the room?
Liked it all
secure underground carpark, comfortable room, just outside the centre, 10mins walk to place de comedie. easy to find.
it was pricey at 112 EUR for one night incl parking.wiFi didnt work at all.
Claustrophobic room with a smell of a cheap air freshener. Redicuously small bed, no wardrobe. It's not more than a totally over priced place that might pass as a day use place but certainly not as a 3 star city hotel.
Owner and staff were great. Bathroom was top notch.
While the hotel seemed very clean, our room had a strange, (attempted) deodorized smell to it. After lying in the bed for a while, we (unfortunately) concluded that someone must have wet the bed. The sheets were clean, but there was a strong odor coming up thru them. Location was out of the true town center - not as convenient as reviews stated. Hotel owner and staff were great. Maybe we just had bad luck with our room. I'd try to get closer to the center of the old town if I went back to Montpellier again.
The beaches, shark museum.
Location, friendliness of staff, recommendations for Montpellier centre restaurants and bars
Breakfast price bit on the high side
+ Excellent staff, even though we speak a bit of french, she was very helpful and speak a bit of english and spanish. Explained everything about the city + Breakfast + WIFI
Excellent welcome from receptionist. Hotel seems quite new, and is very clean and well equipped. Tram stop is about 5 minutes away at edge of old city.
Car park underneath hotel is very cramped. Quite a challenge to avoid all the pillars with a big car. Also, overpriced when you can get street parking outside free from 1800 to 0900 and for a couple of Euros all day.
The staff at this hotel (all women) were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the suburbs on the edge of the old town and so is very quiet. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace.
It was a 15 minute walk to the town centre-not so far, really, but I found I didn't want to walk back in in the evening for dinner.
Lovely small, intimate hotel; comfortable room with great shower; friendly and welcoming staff and owner; offered useful information tailored to my needs; kettle proffered when I requested a cup of tea; extensive breakfast options; excellent English spoken; central location though not immediately apparent quite how central - took less than 5 mins to Corum with it's tram lines. I would stay here for future visits and certainly recommend to others.
Nothing to add
A lovely quiet place within easy walking distance of the city. Neutral colours, tastefully decorated. Very restful and comfortable. The jacuzzi in our room was wonderful.
Receptionists were very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Quiet with a lovely decked terrace. Good sized room & ensuite extremely clean.
Nothing to dislike for rating of this hotel, perhaps a little far for less abled people to walk into centre
Very helpful receptionist, garage
Very quiet hotel with friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. Walking distance from Corum, Place de la Comedie or Place de L'Europe.
Hotel is little bit hidden between panel houses...
Very helpful, personable front desk staff - they let us borrow a converter for the night and gave great directions. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. After a week camping, the hot shower in the remodeled bathroom was wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing, all was great.
The car parking was fab , the car was safe, the receptionist was happy and helpful, the bathroom was clean and the shower had hot water
The bed was the most uncomfortable we have slept in as it had a plastic sheet on the bed, we felt every spring in it!!! We didn't stay for breakfast as we thought this a bit pricey
A ten minutes walk to Place de la Comédie, 5 minutes later you are in the old city. We had never the feeling, even late in the evening, that the walk or the town is unsafe, there were people everywhere, and nobody had bad intentions.
Excellent helpful staff
Breakfast at 12 euro was too expensive, but there is a very good patisserie with a breakfast at 3.20 just around the corner. The bed was very hard, but management were very helpful.
very clean, its just a normal hotel
hard to find, traffic terrible
Friendly and helpful staff . Nice bathroom and comfortable bed . Lovely garden in which to have breakfast .
