Hotel muy céntrico en la bonita ciudadd de Menton; rodeado de jardines en una zona tranquila.

La atención muy correcta y la situación muy buena.

Podrían mejorar la calidad-precio del desayuno y también la conexión WIFI de las habitaciones.

La habitación reformada esta bien, muy limpia.

El resto del hotel es muy viejo, como nosotros solo estuvimos en el hotel para dormir, no tengo ninguna queja, pero no iría para pasar unas vacaciones allí.

No ponen gel ni champu en las duchas y los canales de la television son todos en frances..ninguno en italiano ni en ingles..en el desayuno el cafe es de maquina de filtro

La ubicacion,cercania con la playa, parking gratuito,a minutos de Monte Carlo,Monaco,Niza y Cannes.Muy buen desayuno buffet.

On arrival one walks up an avenue of lemon and lime trees to a grand looking building with shuttered windows; it is romantically called L'Orangerie. The marbled floor reception, lobby and bar areas are of a rather faded grandeur; a Sarah Beeney makeover could restore it to its former elegance. The terrace outside in the garden is cool and calming and a great place to sit when the heat becomes overwhelming. It is a hotel of character and charm which beats the sterile, repetitive rooms of the modern budget hotels. The location for the beach and centre of town is excellent.

Single travellers beware, some of the rooms at the back are not great (but what do you expect for the price!). Specifically avoid room 430. The air conditioning didn't work and the fan provided was a little noisy. If you opened the window there was noise from the car park, the hotel's airconditioning unit, trains and a busy road. However, the move to 426 the next day sorted out all these problems and a sunkissed time was had in Menton. I would return to this hotel but book a superior room to the front.

great staff, very helpful and freindly, exept the lady at the bar newly furnisched room, good beds, simple but in good condition very good location near to the center - beware of rooms to the back- the realway is passing directly behind - rooms to the front (we had one) are more expensive, calm and have a nice view over the superbe hotel garden.

One has to be aware, that menton is an old age vacation town - somewhat the hotels resembles a pensioners resdidence - the breaktfast ist self service like a canteen.... Tehere is no minibar in the room, and we were told, that one is not allowed to bring any drinks to the rooms .... this was the barkeeper who told us, nowone else (reception) seemdes to know about this - nor was it written somewhere...

The hotel is a magnificently opulent 19th century building fronted by beautiful mature gardens. It is quite close to the pedestrianised town centre so it is conveniently situated.

Only one small lift service the whole hotel, which is quite large. Also it is difficult to find by car because the signposting is not clear. It is signed as "The Orangerie" whereas we were looking for Club Vacanciel.

This hotel is well located with beautiful gardens and has a car park. Rooms are decent and clean, it is a lovely old building and communal areas are attractive.

This hotel is probably suited to older clients, indeed it was very popular with tour groups of elderly people whilst we were there, which is ok as long as you dont look for a lively atmosphere. There is no ambience to the bar or restaurant so would suggest you go out to eat and drink.

The hotel was very nice. We had a room with a fantastic view to the garden. We had a good breakfast at a very nice dining room. Location of the hotel is excellent and the employees were very helpful.

Location was excellent - 5 minutes from the station, and then only 15 mins to Monaco. Staff very helpful and assisted with all my needs. Easy parking facility on site, and easy walk to the beach.

Rooms are very badly soundproofed, and could hear everything in the room next door. Internet was not reliable, but can be typical for that part of France.
