We enjoyed the 'belle epoque' atmosphere' of this hotel, the garden, the large space and the professional attitude of the staff in reception

There is much noise (especially for the rooms situated on the back side of the hotel) from a railway (trains passing every 30-45 min). I was surprised to be charged the price of one night at the time we made the booking and the rest of the whole bill two days before arriving at the facilities (debited directly on the credit card). This is not explicitly explained in the terms and conditions described for booking. The staff responsible for cleaning shall refrain for speaking loud on corridors before 09:00 A:M

The location was excellent for our purposes and it was value for money

While the bathroom was good, but our bedroom needed an upgrade

I was surprised about the anciennity of this hotel and like to know moer about the history. Can you give me a hint ? The hotel and the facilities were very good, price/quality very good, breakfast very good (was outside,lovely. Next time again !

I missed a balcon, but this was no problem

The garden is very nice. Hotel staff is friendly. Clean rooms.

We were placed on the first floor right across the Restaurant. Not pleasant at all to feel the smell and hear the noise during each meal. Also when entering the room everyone in the restaurant could see in my room through the open door. And booking.com recommended this hotel. I would expect another treatment in this case as their client. Also some problems with the hot water. Other than that everything was nice.

Close to the beach and the city centre. The hotel room is comfortable and clean, the bed is good.

No place in the room for drying the swimming suits and towels and you must pay for the parking.

Impessive building and lovely gardens with calm atmosphere. Convenient to beach and town centre. Nice and quiet. 24-hour reception.

No bath gel or shampoo provided. Bar only open at certain times and closes at 10pm. Staff ok but not too friendly. Friendliest staff I met were 2 English students working at reception and night-time staff

View from the balcony and a nice garden. Possibility for a garage.

Not a three star hotel. Rooms and furniture from a one star hotel. Allmost all of the staff did not speak any English.

A bit noisy in the hallways in the morning. People get up early and you hear from the rooms.

Location in Menton is good. The room is big but should new renovate again.

Only one reception staff can speak Eng, anyway she's very nice. But when she's not there, no one can answer me in Eng. Most of things in the hotel is in France, no Eng. I can't understand France. So it's not good for the tourist from the other country, not international. Check-out is 9.30, that's too early.

The gardens around the hotel are lovely and you are within easy walking distance of the centre of Menton. the parking facility was good and the staff were polite and friendly.

The room that I had was very small and the interior decoration somewhat boring.

Nice surrounding, close to the city center. Good price/quality. Nice big rooms; electrical heating in the bathroom, availibilityt of car park.

Rooms at the backside are quite noisy due to passing of trains. Lobby needs refreshment. .

Nous avons eu une chambre exigue sans aucune vue; les animations du soir peuvent gener si on est au rez de chaussée ou au 1er étage.Il s'agit d'un hotel vacanciel avec une clientèle agée et des horaires de repas très "serrés".
