This Mercure hotel is located at the foot of Val Thorens slopes at an altitude of 2,330 yards, in the heart of the Three Valleys ski resort. Val Thorens hotel provides comfortable accommodations and rooms are equipped with satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet access. Some rooms have a mountain view. The hotel’s restaurant, La Cime, serves local gourmet specialties and guests can dine on the south-facing terrace during fine weather. The fire-side bar offers a range of fine wines and cocktails. Location is definitely this hotel's top feature. Ski in/ski out right to the main skiing "square" of Val Thorens. Breakfast so so. Best to dine elsewhere in the town. Price is excellent if rate is available. Slope facing rooms (at 15 euros extra) gives you room filled with sunlight on a good day but at the expence of diesel powered snow plowers working all through the night on the slopes.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean room, free wi-fi (which I was especially happy about as it was a strong signal and not the usual weak signal that unfortunately most other hotels now seem to charge for), good food, great location

Location. You can start skiing from the hotel and come back by skies. It is a little expensive. Unfortunately, there is no kettler in the room. You are thirsty all the time.

Having stayed here on 2 previous occasions we were very disappointed with the deterioration. The reception staff were most helpful. However the food service and quality were poor and unable to meet the demand. Will not stay here again

L'accueil,le service, la propreté,le comfort Le restaurant n'est absolument pas à la hauteur petit-déjeuner : les distributeurs à : café,thé,eau chaude (-toujours en panne) et aucune solution apportée de la part de la direction (invisible) et de la part du personnel (manque d'encadrement) déjeuner et diner: choix sans imagination et insuffisant

Das Zimmer bietete ausreichend Platz. Das Abendessen (Halbpension gebucht) war ausgezeichnet. Die Preise für Getränke sind für ein Skigebiet moderat. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Piste. Die Liftkarte kann im Hotel aufgeladen werden, sofern man die PIN-Nummer der Kreditkarte kennt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zwar ausreichend, jedoch herrscht hier Chaos. Nachgelegt wird jedoch auf Verlangen.

Камера хранения для лыж на минус первом этаже. Вышел, одел лыжи и поехал... Включен ужин. На ресепшн всегда кто-то есть. Можно купить ски-пас прям в отеле (но не сдать)). Убирали хорошо. Отель староват... Не работали батареи ни в ванной, ни в комнате. Нет холодильника. Официанты постоянно тормозят.

het eten was van zeer slechte kwaliteit en de maitre d'hotel was zeer onvriendelijk,zelfs tamelijk onbeleefd. toen de soep koud was hebben we 3 maal moeten verzoeken deze warm op te dienen en de ingeschonken borden terug mee te nemen( dit is toch vanzelfsprekend) maar voor het personeel niet. Er was niet genoeg eten.Als je als laatste kwam eten moest je ongeveer de overschot eten en lang wachten op nieuwe schotels. de sla was verlebbert. er was enkel nog een restje kaas over.
