Right in the middle of a vineyard, you can see the castle form the window. Nice sauna and hammam. Huge room, huge bathroom.

No wifi in bedrooms (only cable) Restaurant closes at 8.30 p.m.

It's a very good 3 star hotel, but for this kind of hotel you just expect a little bit more, like bigger rooms, and some more luxury stuff etc.

The town is a bit too quiet, and the hotel doesn't really live up to the expectations you get from seeing the pictures on the website.

that it was right in the town and also amongst the vineyards.

Didn't have air conditioning and it was very hot. Didn't sleep very well because we had to have the window open but it was a little noisy.

The location is excellent. The village St-Hyppolite is a romantic and lovely place. Closed to Riboville and Colmar that are also worth of visit. Hotel is very clean.

For the breakfast we were charged 12.50€/person. However, it was very poor. With some cheapest cheese and spoilt salami For a breakfast for free it would me (may be) just OK, but not for a total of 25€/day. The hotel is an event place. Thus doesn't offer privacy space for relaxing and chilling. Also many guests are around. The entrance to the spa area is between the bar and a billiard area (usually both filled with partying people).

Excellent location for sight seeing. Hotel is very elegant and staff is very friendly. We had a very large room with a beautiful view.

The hotel was a little bit hard to find and our new GPS could not locate it. I believe it is very new hence the GPS problem. The town is not large so we visually found the hotel.

It was our second stay in Val-Vignes. We fall in love in this quiet, peacefull surrondings, vine fields around hotel and sleepy town in front. OK, practical things: good breakfast! quiet and laaarge room, parking place, internet access (only in lobby). PERFECT

Location and surroundings were great. Easy to reach and close to major landmarks/tourist attractions Easily accessible Great little village Staff were friendly and helpful, but did struggle a bit with English Awesome bathroom :-) Great breakfast

Came back from a day out only to find that all parking was taken by people attending a function - no reserved parking for guests No refreshments(incl coffee/tea) in room Room was big, but still only worth 3 stars(mattress was saggy, finishes quite average) Bar area is not great(incl lack of barman/lady) Masseuse did not turn up(after several calls)

Arriving at 6 pm to be told we can't eat in the restaurant as we hadn't booked 7 days in advance! never heard of such thing in 40 yrs of travelling that a hotel resident cannot eat in the restaurant!!! Staff not helpful. Wifi not available in the bedrooms (this is 2013 guys!!). For price asked it is scandalous that breakfast wasn't included. We ate that somewhere else. There are other better value hotels in the area.

Very clean, stunning location with great views, free parking and overall a very nice hotel. Classic on the outside, modern rooms.

    No complaints.

Location was superb, imposing building overlooking a Hansel & Gretal type village.

Needs an open fire and somewhere to relax

The shower flooded all over the floor causing a big mess. The receptionist doubted us when we were checking out as to whether we had had breakfast or not. She was rather rude. Very corporate feel to the hotel..

Fantastic old building well converted with large rooms. Grerat location surrounded on four sides by vineyards, mountains and old fortress behind, sweeping views down to the Rhone in front, right in the middle of the Alsace wine route.

Too few staff. It took 20 minutes to get a drink at the bar because the receptionist was also running the bar. And despite the hotels claims wi-fi is very intermittent and was unavailable for two of our days there. Also the advertised international tv channels are not available.

EXCELLENT experience! Val-Vignes staff was friendly, professional, and spoke several languages - to include English...the room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding vineyards and quaint town with several excellent wine-makers added to the hotel's charm... I would definitely go back again!

The village church is next door and although beautifully illuminated at night, the 6am chorus of bells is a bit excessive.

Location, accommodation, especially room size atmosphere, accessibility

Breakfast was adequate. Yes it was okay but not up to the standards we are used to in similar hotels in Switzerland.
