Metro close, very clean, perfect neighborhood , English speaking very friendly staff, clean, fantastic value
Service, location, view hotelroom
Price/quality for Paris is good. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Very clean. Great location. Metro is around the corner, same for bus to Gare du Nord. Big supermarket nearby and enough restaurants and bistro's. I would stay here again.
The temperature in the room. Even with heating off it was very warm (24C). Opening up a bathroom window was necessary to sleep comfortable. The street is quiet enough at night, so its not really a big deal.
Lift stops at 4th floor - my room was on the 5th so not great - then it broke down completely for two days. Hotel reduced invoice by 70 euros, but I'd sooner have had the lift operating.
The hotel is old and need some repairs. The air condicioned in the room is broken.
Breakfast..expensive, not worth the price. Staff like Lauren & Rose adelene are very friendly, others are not so.
The staff were great, always pleasant and very helpful. Room size was large and walls were not thin like some hotels. We moved here because another hotel we stayed in was unacceptable. This place was a trip saver.
Decor was a bit tired, could use new paint and perhaps some art work.
The location is perfekt in all ways. The Metro is near and you can walk easily to the Eiffeltower and the city with all shopping, Louvren and so on. The staff is friendly and the hotel smal witch we like. The rooms nice and clean with everything you need (except wi-fi that did't work so good in the rooms). The breakfast is small but serves you all you need :)
The Wi-fi didn't work in the rooms only in the lobby.
location was good ans staff always there to help
internet wasnt working at all and was very difficult for me to work properly from the room
We liked the location - ideally situated just a couple of minutes from the metro and within walking distance to many popular sights. Room was on the small side but clean. Air conditioning worked well. Elevator small - we used the stairs. Quiet - no noise from outside nor from other rooms.
Only complaint was the miniscule shower in the bathroom.
Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Location was good.
It was less than a 5 minute walk from Vaneau Metro, which is just two stops away from Mabillion Metro on Boulevard Saint Germain in the heart of the Left Bank. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the bedroom was a good size with two large windows and a balcony, the bed was large and comfortable, the facilities for making tee or coffee were good, the bathroom was perfectly adequate, everything worked and the cafe Vaneau was downstairs. We've stayed in many smallish French hotels over the years and we would certainly stay there again. The breakfast room by the reception was small but adequate.
The elevator had broken down - but we had been informed of that before we confirmed the booking. The hotel did have a porter who carried our bags up to the room. We couldn't find fault with the hotel at all.
All the staff, but particularly Rose and Eva, went beyond the call of duty in helping us to solve problems with location of a medical clinic and getting needed papers to our airlines to save our tickets. Evonne was helpful in getting breakfast trays together for my wife in order for her to eat in the room because of an injury suffered earlier in our trip.
On Friday night;we heard party noise from the major street around the corner, however we also enjoyed the restaurants and stores on this popular street durin the day.
Close to cafés and public transportation made it easy to see all the main attractions of Paris
Had to climb the stairs last two floors to get too room
The staff was very helpful. I was given a room next to the elevator, and could not focus to do my work. I asked the staff in the reception if it would be possible to have another room. Within 5 minutes I was given another room, no questions asked! :-)
The hotel is clean, but its a bit run down. There were traces of fallen wall paints (or wall paper) in the hallways.
The location is perfect!
The small size of the place to take shower.
Rooms are good size and quite clean.
Very Noisy, it is Paris I know but that was very noisy
The room was EXTREMELY noisy, even at the small hours, bc it directly next to the elevator (it actually circled it) and opposite the service room. In fact, this specific elevator is unbelievably noisy by itself and it is loudly heard even when one is sitted in the breakfast room or waiting by the reception!! Moreover, the bathroom is old and definitely needs renovation!
Very convenient to visit Paris
To match traffic noise
Great position & staff
Room was smart clean and a fair size for Paris standards. Everything you need for a short stay.
Room- comfort of bed- bathroom
The hotel's close proximity to Le Bon Marche was a real surprise
The location was pretty good, the metro was very near, everything was almost within walking distance if you enjoy walking. WiFi was good, the room was quite big, the staff was friendly. There were little stores with a lot of food and drink choices right across the street.
The breakfast could've been more versatile. The window was really thin - you could here every noise that was coming from outside. It felt like the window was open. Double check your bill later - I was charged with a minibar item which I didn't take, but thankfully it was sorted out.
The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable. Although it was on a main street it was not too noisy.Tea and coffee making facilities were great. Supermarket across the road which was cheap as eating out in Paris is very expensive. Close to Metro stations so it was easy to get to all the sights. Room was cleaned to a high standard. Decor was nice
At €15 breakfast was very expensive though we didn't take it. The lift is very small - says 4 people maximum though 4 people would be a tight squeeze. Lift only goes to the 4th floor - this was okay for us as we were on 4th floor but there are 2 floors above!!
